Where to eat in Yuma depends on where you play. Near the Foothills courses, use the clubhouses or the diners on Foothills Blvd and Fortuna Rd, which often close by 8 PM. For dinner, drive into town, where the best-reviewed places on Google include Bodega 23, Curries, El Charro Cafe and River City Grill.
This guide sorts Yuma's food by what a golfer needs: breakfast before an early tee time, lunch at the turn or after the round, and dinner. Ratings are Google's, read on Oct 23, 2026; they drift, and hours change with the season. We list no prices because none were checked.

Las Barrancas and the Foothills courses sit close together, so the Trackman Deli, The Tipsy Cactus and the Par 3 bar make an easy cluster. The Las Barrancas course guide and the Desert Hills course guide have more on each clubhouse.

Eating on a Wellton day
Wellton has two courses but little food at them. The Coyote Den at Coyote Wash serves breakfast and lunch from 7 AM to 2:30 PM between October and April, and the town's information on Butterfield mentions no restaurant. So eat at the Coyote Den between rounds, or have lunch back in the Foothills, about 25 minutes west on I-8. See our Wellton golf guide.
Food on a golf rest day
A rest day adds a few food stops worth planning around. Martha's Gardens Medjool Date Farm is known for date shakes in its farm store, open Monday to Saturday 10 AM to 5 PM from November to April per an undated listing; call ahead. Our guide to Yuma Medjool dates has the details, and things to do in Yuma lists other rest-day ideas. In Los Algodones, remember the clock is an hour behind Yuma in winter; see the Los Algodones day trip guide.
Tips for eating around a golf schedule
- Plan Foothills dinners early. Many places close at 7 or 8 PM, so for a later dinner head into town.
- Use the clubhouse for lunch. Coyote Den closes at 2:30 PM, and the Cocopah Bend 19th Hole at 2 PM.
- Book big groups. The Hills GastroPub takes reservations; for a group dinner, call ahead anywhere. Our Yuma buddies golf trip guide covers evenings out.
- Summer is quieter. Mesa del Sol limits food in summer, and many restaurants and resort activities scale back after the winter visitors leave.
