Signature holes

  • #18 - 502-yard par 5 with water right and out of bounds left (course site)
  • #17 - 353-yard par 4 with a small fairway; bailing right leaves a blind approach over bushes (course site)
  • #6 - 270-yard par 4, drivable if you clear the tree guarding the right side (course site)

Local knowledge

  • #9 plays as a 239-yard par 4, uphill with a bunker in front, so it is a real birdie chance. The back nine is longer and harder.
  • Monday (men's club), Tuesday (9-hole groups) and Wednesday (ladies' club) mornings are taken up by winter club play Nov-Mar. Call ahead and expect afternoons to be easier to get.
  • Pro shop goods are tax-free because the course is on tribal land.
  • Reviews of conditions are mixed. A 2023 TripAdvisor reviewer found burnt fairways and thin greens, so ask about conditions after the October overseed before booking early November.
  • This is the course USGA lists as 'Cocopah Golf Resort' (par 73, 5,737 yards). The separate 9-hole Cocopah Rio Colorado course in Somerton closed in 2023.
