Before you book

Access	Public daily-fee course; anyone can book online (TeeItUp on the club site, or GolfNow). Winter passholders and the Men's (Fridays from 11 AM, mid-Oct to mid-Apr), Ladies' (Mon and Thu from 9 AM, Nov-Apr) and Can-Am men's groups take big blocks of the sheet in season, and outside scrambles close the course to the public on some Saturdays (for example Nov 7, Dec 5, 2026). The pass terms limit passholders during prime weekday times (about 9:00-10:37), which is when public times are easiest to find.
Book ahead	Public online booking about 14 days out on TeeItUp (on 2026-10-23 times were loaded through Nov 6, 2026). The engine says it uses dynamic pricing (rates move with demand and how far ahead you book), all online times are prepaid, online rates apply only to online bookings (rack rates at the course may be higher), and cancelling needs 48 hours' notice, with refunds credited as a gift card. GolfNow shows only about 7 days (through Oct 30). Passholders book on a separate TeeItUp page (mesa-del-sol-passholders.book.teeitup.com). Online times are sold to groups of 2-4. Rechecked 2026-10-23: Wed Oct 28, 2026 showed $55 for 18 holes from 9:00 AM, $45 around 1 PM and $35 from 2 PM.
Overseed / closures	2026: does not close for overseed. The Arizona Golf Association 2026 overseeding list shows Mesa Del Sol as 'No' (no overseed), and the Yuma Sun's 2024 seeding roundup said 'Mesa del Sol does not close for seeding'. The pass terms say the course may close one nine at a time for aeration, seeding or summer re-establishment and may run on a limited basis in summer. Expect thinner, partly dormant bermuda in mid-winter if it is not overseeded (not confirmed).

Style	Traditional desert-edge course in the Fortuna Foothills below the Gila Mountains, two separate nines on either side of S Camino del Sol, several ponds (holes 3-5, 9, 13 and 17), homes along many holes.
Carts	Cart included in all online rates. Carts must stay on paths around tees and greens (scorecard). Private carts allowed for passholders with a $100 annual trail fee. No walking policy or walking rate published.
Practice	Full-length grass driving range open to the public (dawn to dusk; basket sales end 60 minutes before sunset; closes 2 hours before sunset on Monday and reopens mid-morning Tuesday), all-turf hitting area, chipping green and two to three putting greens.
Dress code	Proper attire required; shirts without collars are permitted; shoes and shirts required (scorecard).
Pace	Scorecard says normal pace is 4 hours; reviewers report 5 hours or more on busy winter days.

Local knowledge

Pricing drops in steps through the day: $55 morning, $50 late morning, $45 after 1 PM and $35 from 2 PM on weekdays (late Oct 2026). On weekends the afternoon rate is $40 from about 12:30.
GolfNow Hot Deals can be much cheaper ($19.99 on Oct 30, 2026), but GolfNow shows only a week ahead; the club's own TeeItUp page shows two weeks.
Fridays from 11 AM (Men's Association, mid-Oct to mid-Apr) and Monday and Thursday mornings from 9 AM (Ladies', Nov-Apr) are league times. Some Saturdays are closed for outside scrambles (Nov 7 and Dec 5, 2026).
The two nines sit on opposite sides of S Camino del Sol, and holes 10-18 are south of the road from the clubhouse.
No outside alcohol: the scorecard says bringing it onto the course is prohibited by law. Sunflower seed or pistachio shells on greens can get you removed.
The course does not overseed (AGA 2026 list), so unlike most Yuma courses it does not close in October.
Pace is a known weak point in winter; GolfPass reviewers rate pace lowest. The card sets 4 hours as normal pace and says slow groups may be asked to skip holes.
