Golf in Mesquite in February: Weather, the Step Up to Peak Rates and Booking Tips

Golf in Mesquite in February means mid-60s afternoons (a 66.1F normal high), frosty starts, green overseeded fairways and the month when rates step up to peak. February 2027 prices seen in October 2026 were $170 at Falcon Ridge and $180 to $190 at Oasis before noon, while Wolf Creek, Conestoga, CasaBlanca and Palms had not posted theirs.

Prices change and most 2027 peak rates were not posted yet, so where a course has no 2027 figure we give its 2026 pattern and say so.

What is the weather like for golf in Mesquite in February?

NOAA 1991-2020 normals from Beaver Dam, Arizona, about 8 miles northeast of Mesquite. February warms about four and a half degrees on January, and the afternoons are some of the most comfortable of the year. Mornings are still cold, with lows near 36F, so mid-morning tee times are the sweet spot.

How much does golf in Mesquite in February cost?

What this means in practice:

Falcon Ridge had the lowest posted February morning rate. Its February morning rate is $25 below the $195 it showed for most March dates, and its afternoon tiers run as low as $96. The back-nine greens are new for this season. See the Falcon Ridge course guide.

Oasis Palmer and Oasis Canyons share prices: $180 to $190 in the morning, $120 from noon, before both rise to $210 and $140 for March and April 2027 samples. The Oasis Palmer course guide has the tees.

Wolf Creek had three price levels in February 2026: $230 to February 4, $330 from February 5 to 26, and $360 weekdays and $390 weekends from February 27. Its twilight returned in late February 2026 at $330 to $350. The 2027 table was not posted on October 23, 2026.

Conestoga switched to its spring band on February 10 in 2026. Public prices are dynamic and ran above the published bands on busy days in late 2026, so book early in the 55-day window and on weekdays for the low end. See the Conestoga course guide.

Coyote Springs, about an hour southwest, had nothing loaded after January 21.

Early February or late February?

If budget matters, go early. On the 2026 pattern, the first week of February sat in Wolf Creek's lower tier and before Conestoga's February 10 switch. Falcon Ridge's 2027 sample was flat at $170 through February 27, and Oasis showed the same $180 to $190 on February 2 and 16.

Is Mesquite busy in February?

Busier every week. Snowbird season builds through the month, and weekends fill first. The St. George Area Parade of Homes ran February 13 to 22 in 2026 (2027 not published); it mainly tightens St. George lodging with a small spillover to Mesquite, as listed in the St. George golf events calendar. The March basketball tournaments in Las Vegas, which fill hotels and raise LAS fares, start with the Big Ten women's event on March 3, 2027.

When to book February tee times

Rain, cancellations and rain checks

February's 5.6 rain days are the most of any month, so know each course's cancellation rule before a wet forecast:

• Oasis: cancel at least 24 hours ahead or pay the full green fee.
• Falcon Ridge: cancel 24 hours or more ahead or pay a $50-per-player no-show fee. Bookings are confirmed only by email.
• Wolf Creek: cancel more than 48 hours out (groups of 11 or fewer); no-shows pay full rack. Twilight is non-refundable with no rain checks.
• Conestoga: cancel within 48 hours and the card on file is charged.
• Coyote Springs: cancel 48 hours ahead by phone (725-216-2989).

Where to stay in February

Both are official online calendar rates seen October 23, 2026, before tax; CasaBlanca's appear to include its $12.99 resort fee, and Virgin River charges none. Kayak's past-year averages put Eureka Casino Resort at its high of about $195 in February. CasaBlanca's pool switches from 10 AM to 4 PM to 10 AM to 5 PM on February 12. Getting to Mesquite in February

Flying into Las Vegas. Harry Reid International (LAS) is the usual airport. All rental cars are at the Rent-A-Car Center about three miles south of the terminals, and the drive to Mesquite is about 97 minutes and 90.8 miles by OSRM, mostly I-15 north through open desert after the north valley. Without a car, the Salt Lake Express shuttle showed 10 departures from LAS to Mesquite on a sampled weekday (October 27, 2026), taking 1 hour 25 minutes at $33 to $41 one way, with stops at CasaBlanca and Virgin River.

Flying into St. George. SGU is about 54 minutes and 42.2 miles from Mesquite by OSRM, with Delta Connection from Salt Lake City, United Express from Denver and American Eagle from Phoenix and Dallas/Fort Worth. It is on Mountain time, one hour ahead of Mesquite.

Driving from the north. Salt Lake City is about 4 hours 56 minutes and 340 miles on I-15, and you gain an hour at the Nevada line. From Alberta, Calgary is about 17 hours 38 minutes via the Coutts and Sweetgrass crossing, which is open 24 hours, but winter conditions in Montana and Idaho can close or slow I-15. The February time zone catch

Through all of February, Arizona is one hour ahead of Mesquite, because Arizona keeps Mountain Standard Time all year and Nevada does not switch to daylight time until March 14, 2027. That affects Palms in Littlefield and Beaver Dam Lodge. One published note says the Palms tee sheet runs on Mesquite (Pacific) time, while phones near the state line can pick up an Arizona or Utah tower and show the wrong time, so set your clock to Pacific manually and confirm the time when you book. St. George is one hour ahead of Mesquite all year. If your trip runs from late February into mid-March, remember the US clocks go forward on March 14, after which Mesquite and Arizona show the same time.

Rest days in February

February is a good month for a day off the course. Valley of Fire is open (it closes only December 1 to 14) and its trails are open until May 15. Zion is in its non-shuttle season, when private cars are generally allowed on the Scenic Drive, though the Kolob Canyons road can close for snow or ice. Non-US residents 16 and over pay $100 each at Zion on top of the $35 vehicle fee in 2026.
