Local knowledge
- Time zone: Mesquite is on Pacific time, one hour BEHIND St. George (Mountain) all year. Tee times are Mesquite local time, so a 9:00 tee time is 10:00 on a St. George clock.
- Big local deal: Oasis resident rates apply to verified residents of Clark County NV AND Washington County UT, so St. George locals qualify (bring ID; book within 30 days; verified at check-in). Visitors pay rack and can book 60 days out (180 days with a package).
- Range buckets are cheap ($5 / $8 / $12), but the range closes about 4 hours before sunset on Wednesdays and Sundays.
- Rental sets are Srixon/Cleveland, $75/day ($50 twilight) and limited, so call ahead.
- Cancel at least 24 hours before your round or the full green fee is charged; the shop may pair singles and twosomes into foursomes.
- Strict dress code: no denim anywhere, including the range.
- This is the harder Oasis course. The 6,343-yd card is misleading because the Palmer-designed back nine requires carries to narrow targets.
- It closes for overseed two weeks before the Palmer (Sep 2 vs Sep 14) and reopens a week earlier (Oct 1 vs Oct 7). In late September or early October, one of the two Oasis courses is usually open.
- GolfNow 'Hot Deals' in summer 2026 ran about $81–$110 with cart, often the cheapest way onto a quality Mesquite course in the heat.
