A Mesquite golf week itinerary works best as six rounds and a rest day: Falcon Ridge on arrival, Wolf Creek, both Oasis courses, Conestoga, a day off at Zion or Valley of Fire, and Coyote Springs on the way back to Las Vegas. On fall 2026 rates the six rounds came to about $1,193 to $1,427 per player.
This plan uses a villa base next to the Oasis range, because a week of golf is easier with a kitchen and a garage. Shorter versions: the 3-day, 4 day and 5 day Mesquite itineraries.

Day 1: arrive and play Falcon Ridge late
Land at LAS and drive about 97 minutes up I-15 (free-flow from the rental car center). Masters Villas check-in is 4:00 PM at the Owner Services office, with a lockbox after 6 PM if arranged, so go straight to golf.
Falcon Ridge is the best afternoon course in town because its price falls in steps: in October 2026 it was $125 from about 1:30 PM, $110 from 2:40 and $92.50 from 3:40. The back-nine greens were replaced in summer 2026, and the course plays 6,303 yards from the Black tees at 70.9/135. Finishing on a twilight time is not guaranteed.
Day 2: Wolf Creek
Four minutes from the villas. Golf Digest ranks it #5 in Nevada and #59 among America's 100 Greatest Public Courses (2025-26). Play the Champions (6,153 yards, 71.1/140) or Masters (5,683 yards, 69.0/133) tees unless you are a low single-digit player, and budget five-plus hours. Foursomes only; cancel more than 48 hours out. Day 3: Oasis Palmer, plus an easy nine
The Arnold Palmer course is two minutes away, and the friendlier of the two Oasis courses: 6,442 yards from the Black tees but 138 slope, with environmentally sensitive areas on holes 5 through 8 that are no-entry. Range buckets are $5, $8 and $12, but the range closes about four hours before sunset on Wednesdays and Sundays. The Oasis course guide has the tees.
If the group wants more, Coyote Willows is a $50 neighborhood nine by the river (online rate seen for Oct 24 to Nov 23, 2026), with times into mid-afternoon on the online sheet. It books only 30 days out.
Day 4: the rest day
A rest day is what separates a Mesquite golf week itinerary from a long buddies trip. Pick one:

Zion's shuttle runs 7 AM to 5 PM from the visitor center from Oct 25 to Nov 28, 2026, has no service from Nov 29 to Dec 25, and runs again Dec 26 to Jan 2 (8 AM to 4:30 PM). Shuttles are free. Day 5: Conestoga
Gary Panks' course inside Sun City Mesquite is Golf Digest's #20 in Nevada. The front nine is the dramatic side, including #4, the Fence Hole, with about 250 yards of fairway before a 25-foot cliff. The director of golf advises moving up a set of tees for a first round, so most groups should play Silver (6,349 yards, 70.5/128) or Silver/Copper (6,050 yards, 69.3/123).
Prices are dynamic: $205 to $300 published for fall 2026, with $315 to $318 live on some late-October days. Public times open 55 days out, and open times were scarce in November and December 2026, so book this one as soon as your date opens. The Conestoga course guide has the full tee chart.
Day 6: Oasis Canyons, and a twilight option
The harder Oasis course: 6,317 yards from the Blue tees at 137 slope, with a back nine of carries to narrow targets. Same $190 morning rate as the Palmer.
For a last 36, CasaBlanca is 7 minutes from the villas: $100 from 1 PM in late October 2026, or $90 from noon from Nov 18. It is flat, with water on 13 holes, a welcome change on tired legs by the sixth day of a Mesquite golf week itinerary.
Day 7: Coyote Springs on the way to Las Vegas
Masters Villas check-out is 10:00 AM (a $50 an hour late fee applies), so load the car and drive about an hour southwest to Coyote Springs (Google gave 54 minutes from central Mesquite). It is a Jack Nicklaus design, #11 in Nevada, at 7,471 yards from the Black tees; the Blue (6,807, 72.8/144) or White (6,215, 70.6/139) tees suit most players.
Fall 2026 rates on GolfNow ran $123 to $214 with cart, and $119 on winter weekdays from Nov 30. No outside coolers are allowed, but carts have ice and water, and Mitch's serves breakfast 7 to 11 AM. From there, Las Vegas is close: Google gave 56 minutes from the Strip. The Coyote Springs course guide has the holes.

Rates seen October 2026 for late October to November 2026 dates, before tax. Conestoga's low figure is its published band and the high its live price on busy days. Optional extras: Coyote Willows $50, CasaBlanca twilight $90 to $100.
Lodging: Masters Villas lists a non-owner Bonus Time rate of $200 a night per villa, 2-night minimum, which is $1,200 for six nights before any tax or cleaning charges (neither is stated). Split four ways that is $300 each. Masters Villas guests also qualify for the Oasis resident rate (amount not published), which would cut the two Oasis rounds.
Where to stay for a week
- Masters Villas: two-bedroom, two-bath villas of about 1,650 sq ft sleeping six, with a full kitchen, barbecue, two-car garage and a golf cart, next to the Oasis range. Book by phone (702-345-6700); non-owner nights are limited and owners get first pick.
- Mesquite Vacation Rentals: homes and condos in golf communities including Wolf Creek, up to 16 guests. Under 30 days before arrival, cancellations get no refund.
- Casino hotels: cheaper for couples. Virgin River Casino & Lodge showed $46.80 Sunday to Thursday for December 2026 and January 2027 with no resort fee.

When to plan a golf week
October after overseed, November and February to April have the best weather; March is the busiest month and Wolf Creek's spring peak reached $420 on 2026 weekends. Avoid mid-September (overseed), and remember Valley of Fire closes Dec 1 to 14 if that is your rest day.

Can I see Zion on a Mesquite golf trip?
Yes. The Zion Canyon Visitor Center is about 1 hr 28 min and 85 miles from Mesquite by Google Maps. Zion is on Mountain Time, one hour ahead of Mesquite, and the Scenic Drive is closed to private cars while the shuttle runs (Oct 25 to Nov 28, 2026, and Dec 26 to Jan 2).
Is Valley of Fire open all year?
No. The park closes to all visitors every year from December 1 through December 14 for maintenance, and many trails close each year from May 15 to September 30 because of heat. Otherwise it is open daily sunrise to sunset; visitors from Mesquite use the East Entrance via SR-169.
When is the best week for a Mesquite golf trip?
October after overseed, November, and February to April have the weather; March is the busiest month and needs the earliest booking. Avoid mid-September, when roughly Sep 14 to 26 had no 18-hole course open in Mesquite on the stored overseed dates.
