The best golf courses in Mesquite, NV are Wolf Creek (Golf Digest #5 in Nevada and a top-60 public course in America), Conestoga (#20 in Nevada) and, an hour's drive away, Coyote Springs (#11). After those, Oasis Palmer and Falcon Ridge give you the canyon views at a gentler price and difficulty. CasaBlanca and the Palms are the value plays, especially as room-and-golf packages.

Here's our full ranking of the best golf courses in Mesquite NV for a visiting golfer, with what each costs and who it suits.

Back-tee figures are USGA rating and slope. Fees are what we saw in October 2026; they change, and most 2027 peak rates weren't posted yet. The hardest golf courses in Mesquite guide ranks every course by slope and rating.

1. Wolf Creek Golf Club

Wolf Creek is the reason many golfers come to Mesquite at all. Dennis Rider built it into a canyon in 2000, with tees perched on ridges and tee-to-green drops of up to about 100 feet. It finished third in Golf Digest's survey of the best new upscale public courses of 2001, behind Pacific Dunes and Arcadia Bluffs. For a fuller verdict on value, read the Wolf Creek golf course review, or the head-to-head Wolf Creek vs Conestoga if you only have room for one.

The holes people remember: #12, a par 5 of about 560 yards from a tee nearly 100 feet above the fairway, with water left and around the green. #8, a 248-yard par 3 from the back with a creek wrapping the green and a waterfall behind. And #17, a 562-yard par 5 down a chute between mountains to a peninsula green.

It's hard. The Challenger tees slope 147, with 155 on the back nine alone. Most golfers belong on the Champions (6,153 rated yards, 140 slope) or Masters (5,683 yards, 133). The club says pace will most likely exceed five hours.

Price is the catch: $360 weekday and $390 weekend mornings for late October 2026, and up to $420 on spring 2026 weekends. Winter has been cheapest ($200 from Dec 8, 2025 to Jan 14, 2026), but 2026-27 winter rates weren't posted when we checked. The St. George side has its own Wolf Creek guide.

2. Conestoga Golf Club

Conestoga sits inside Sun City Mesquite, a Del Webb 55+ community, but it's open to everyone. Gary Panks routed it through arroyos and rock outcroppings with 50-plus bunkers. The front nine is the dramatic side. On #4, "The Fence Hole," the fairway runs out about 250 yards from the tee and drops 25 feet off a cliff. The #10 green sits in front of a waterfall.

It's the longest course in town (7,171 rated yards from the Black tees), but slopes stop at 138, and there are eight sets of tees, down to 4,995 yards. Practice balls and a cart come with the round.

Prices are dynamic. The published fall 2026 public band was $205 to $300, but the live sheet showed $315 to $318 on some late-October days. Summer is the bargain: $80 to $120 from Jun 22 to Aug 30, 2026. Full details in our Conestoga Golf Club guide.

3. Coyote Springs Golf Club

Coyote Springs isn't in Mesquite. It's a Jack Nicklaus Signature course about 54 minutes away by Google's estimate (I-15 south, then NV-168), with no homes or hotel on site. But it's ranked #11 in Nevada, it was Golf Digest's #2 best new public course of 2008 behind Chambers Bay, and it runs ryegrass and bentgrass all year. That means it never closes for fall overseed.

Fairways are wide, water is in play on 11 holes, and the bentgrass greens are big, fast and sloping. Play the Blue (6,807 yards, 144 slope) or White (6,215 yards, 139) tees unless you're a low single-digit player. Fall 2026 rates on GolfNow ran $123 to $214 with cart, and a $50 replay is offered after a full-rate morning round. See our Coyote Springs golf day trip post.

4. Oasis Golf Club: The Palmer Course

Oasis Palmer is short, at 6,442 yards from the Black tees, but it slopes 138. Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay built it in 1995 around canyon drop-offs and environmentally sensitive desert areas marked with red stakes, which you can't enter. Palmer named holes 5, 6 and 8 among the best 18 he designed.

It's the friendlier of the two Oasis courses, with a recommended pace of 4 hours 30 minutes. Fall 2026 mornings were $190, and $130 after about 1 PM. Clark County, Nevada and Washington County, Utah residents get a resident rate with ID, so St. George locals benefit.

5. Falcon Ridge Golf Club

Falcon Ridge gives you elevated tees off high plateaus, big drops and water at a manageable length: 6,303 rated yards from the Black tees and a 135 slope. The back-nine greens were replaced in summer 2026, so expect firm, young surfaces this season. #14 is a 184-yard, severely downhill par 3 from the Silver tees, and #12 is the lake hole.

Fall 2026 mornings were $185 to $203.04. Afternoon rates fall in steps, down to $92.50 from about 3:40 PM in October. The Hampton Inn is across the street. More in our Falcon Ridge guide.

6. Oasis Golf Club: The Canyons Course

Oasis Canyons shares the Palmer's clubhouse, price and booking rules, but the club rates it harder. The front nine is Dave Druzisky's 2005 work and plays like the Palmer. The back nine is Palmer's original 1995 nine, with carries to narrow targets. Don't let the 6,317-yard Blue tees fool you: it slopes 137. Both Oasis courses are covered in our Oasis Palmer and Canyons guide.

7. Palms Golf Club

The Palms is really in Littlefield, Arizona, though Mesquite Gaming sells it as a Mesquite course. The front nine is wide resort golf with water and more than 200 palms. The back nine climbs into the canyons, and #15 drops about 115 feet from tee to fairway. It's the gentlest of the 18-hole courses from the tips (131 slope) and had the lowest morning rate of them when we checked. Read our Palms Golf Club guide.

8. CasaBlanca Golf Club

CasaBlanca is flat and low along the Virgin River, with water on 13 holes and afternoon wind as its main defense. It hosts the Nevada Open each early November. The Double Spades tees slope 141, the stiffest in town after Wolf Creek, while the Clubs tees (6,036 yards) slope 125. It ranks last among the best golf courses in Mesquite, NV here only because the canyon courses have more character. As a stay-and-play from CasaBlanca Resort, it's hard to beat. See the CasaBlanca Golf Club guide.
