Tee-time ticket: St. George Golf Packages: Which Stay-and-Play Deals in Southern Utah Actually Save Money

St. George golf packages come in two kinds: resort stay-and-play deals that cut the green fee when you sleep on site (Black Desert in Ivins, Sand Hollow in Hurricane, The Ledges and Entrada in St. George), and multi-course bundles sold by quote or by third-party package sellers. The resort deals are easy to price and often worth it. The bundles need a quote, so compare them against booking the rooms and tee times yourself.

Below is every stay-and-play offer in Southern Utah and Mesquite we could verify in October 2026, what it includes, and a quick way to check whether it beats doing it yourself. Prices change, and many packages are "call for a quote," so treat this as a map of what exists, not a price list.

The St. George stay and play deals at a glance

Coral Canyon in Washington also lists stay-and-play packages among its services, with no published details.

Where the package courses sit: Ivins, St. George, Hurricane and Mesquite

A package is only a deal if the driving works. The resorts selling them are at opposite ends of Washington County, and the bundles often send you across it. Drive times below are estimates from each lodging, not live traffic:

From Black Desert The Ledges Coral Canyon Sky Mountain Sand Hollow Copper Rock Wolf Creek
Black Desert Resort (Ivins)2182738424663
The Ledges rentals (north St. George)1512738424662
Sand Hollow Resort (Hurricane)3941191831869
Eureka Casino Resort (Mesquite, NV)5860576867746

Downtown St. George sits in the middle: 13 minutes to Black Desert, 32 to Sand Hollow and 52 to Wolf Creek. If a package has you sleeping in Ivins and playing three rounds in Hurricane, you will spend more time in the car than on the range. Our where to stay for golf in St. George guide compares the bases.

Black Desert: the clearest saving in Southern Utah golf

Black Desert is the one place where the math is printed on the rate card. A non-guest pays $450 a round from March 13 to July 6 and September 4 to January 1, 2027. A resort guest pays $325. In the January 2 to March 12 window it is $325 versus $250.

So two rounds in spring saves $250, three saves $375. That has to be weighed against the room: typically about $400 to $450+ a night before a 15% resort fee (seen October 2026), plus a deposit and paid parking ($15 a day self-park). When checked, the resort's offers page also showed 25% off the room rate for 3+ night stays. Every round includes a cart, forecaddie, on-course food and soft drinks, and the practice facility. The "Championship Stay & Play" package gives one round per person per night, and a Troon listing put the replay at $175.

Who it suits: groups who want to play Black Desert twice and like a lit 2-acre putting course after dinner. Who should skip it: anyone playing it once and spending the other days on the east side, 27 to 46 minutes away. Our Black Desert golf course guide and the Black Desert course page cover the course itself.

Note that the course closes for the PGA TOUR event each fall (September 14 to October 6 in 2026).

Sand Hollow in Hurricane: a code, not a bundle

Sand Hollow keeps it simple. Book lodging at the resort for at least two nights, use STAY&PLAY, and you get 20% off Championship and Links green fees and 10% off the room. Twilight times are excluded. On a spring 2027 weekday morning the Championship course showed $305 to $366, so 20% is roughly $61 to $73 a player per round.

The bigger perk may be the calendar. Public tee times open 180 days out, and prime spring Saturday mornings disappear early: Saturday, March 20, 2027 had only afternoon times left when checked on October 11, 2026. Resort lodgers can book up to a year ahead. The resort also lists a shuttle to any local course and Callaway rental clubs at $105 a day.

Sand Hollow condos run 2 to 4 bedrooms (a 3-bedroom sleeps about 8 to 10 per listings), so the deal works best for a group. Expect a resort fee, a cleaning fee and a deposit. More in the Sand Hollow golf course guide and on the Sand Hollow course page.

The Ledges: multi-course packages by quote

The Ledges rental program is the only St. George package that bundles other courses. The published structures:

  • 3 nights / 3 rounds: The Ledges, Sand Hollow, Copper Rock
  • 4 nights / 4 rounds: adds Sky Mountain
  • 6 nights / 5 rounds: adds Coral Canyon
  • Add-ons: Wolf Creek, plus Mesquite variants

There are no published prices. To judge a quote, add up the parts yourself. The Ledges ran $255 to $295 on October 2026 mornings, Sand Hollow $305 to $366 on spring weekday mornings, and Copper Rock's 2026 group sheet listed $235 a player in peak season. Sky Mountain is about $88 and Coral Canyon about $135 in peak. Then add the house. If the quote is well below that sum, take it. For every course's rates side by side, see St. George green fees.

Keep the geography in mind. The Ledges homes are on the north edge of St. George, by the rim of Snow Canyon, and Sand Hollow and Copper Rock in Hurricane are 42 and 46 minutes away. Even outside a package, booking Ledges tee times through the rental office takes $10 per player off morning rounds. See the Ledges course page.

Mesquite packages: where bundles are cheapest

Across the state line, packages are more common and more often priced. All of these were seen in October 2026:

  • Eureka Casino Resort says it has preferred access to Wolf Creek, and its golf desk books Mesquite courses plus Sand Hollow, Copper Rock, Coral Canyon, The Ledges, Sunbrook and Sky Mountain on the St. George side. Third-party 2026 packages: GolfPass from $157 per person per night (5 nights, 4 rounds) or $177 (3 nights, 3 rounds), taxes and resort fees included. GolfTroop listed $159 to $249 per person per night (4 nights, 3 rounds, double occupancy, Sunday to Thursday, valid to December 31, 2026).
  • CasaBlanca Resort advertises 20% off a Room & Golf package for CasaBlanca Golf Club and Palms (just over the line in Littlefield, Arizona) through its Golf Package Coordinator (877-438-2929). Groups playing those courses can get a free room and golf for the group leader. No prices listed. A "$99 Stay & Play" seen elsewhere was not on the official site.
  • Virgin River Casino & Lodge, CasaBlanca's sister property, advertises Room and Golf Packages starting at $89 (same phone number), with no resort fee on its rooms.
  • Best Western Mesquite Inn: a GolfPass package from $177 for up to 5 nights and up to 4 rounds at Oasis (Palmer or Canyons), Falcon Ridge or Conestoga. Dates and per-person basis not shown.
  • Hampton Inn & Suites Mesquite: across the street from Falcon Ridge; Golfbreaks lists one $419 offer with no dates or trip length.

Packages also unlock longer booking windows. At the Oasis courses, package guests book 180 days out against 60 for the public.

Mesquite is on Pacific time, one hour behind St. George. Tee times are local. See St. George vs Mesquite golf if you are deciding where to base.

When doing it yourself wins

Packages make less sense for the value courses. The city of St. George courses charge everyone outside Washington County the same rack rate and open bookings 14 days out:

Course 18 holes with cart, Oct-May Jun-Sep
Sunbrook$88$54
St. George Golf Club$64$50
Southgate$64$50

City fee page checked October 11, 2026. A package can't beat those by much, and a cheap hotel such as Best Western Plus Settlers Point in Washington (about $90 to $130, October 2026 snapshots) keeps the total low. Our cheap golf in St. George post has more, and the St. George golf hotels guide compares every room.

Questions to ask before you pay for a package

  1. Which tee times? Many green-fee savings are morning-only, Sand Hollow's code excludes twilight, and twilight is often cheaper anyway.
  2. Is the resort fee in the price? Black Desert adds 15%; Sand Hollow, Entrada, The Ledges and the Mesquite casinos add their own.
  3. Per person or per room? Mesquite sellers quote per person per night, double occupancy.
  4. What happens with an overseed closure? Most Mesquite courses close for part of September; Wolf Creek was closed August 30 to October 2 in 2026.
  5. Cancellation rules? Sand Hollow prepaid times are non-refundable; Copper Rock refunds only 72+ hours out; most Ledges homes charge the full stay inside 14 days.

Questions golfers ask

Does Sand Hollow Resort in Hurricane, Utah have a stay and play deal?

Yes. The official Stay & Play offer (code STAY&PLAY, 2-night minimum) gives 10% off lodging and 20% off Championship and Links green fees, though not twilight. Resort lodging guests can also book tee times up to a year out, versus 180 days for the public.

How much do Black Desert resort guests save on golf in Ivins?

On the 2026 rate card, resort guests paid $250 (Jan 2 to Mar 12) or $325 (most of the rest of the year), while non-guests paid $325 or $450. That is $75 to $125 saved per round, before the room's 15% resort fee.

What is included in The Ledges stay and play packages in St. George?

The Ledges quotes packages by request: 3 nights and 3 rounds (The Ledges, Sand Hollow, Copper Rock), 4 nights and 4 rounds adding Sky Mountain, and 6 nights and 5 rounds adding Coral Canyon, with Wolf Creek and Mesquite options. Prices are not published. Rental guests also get $10 off morning rounds at The Ledges booked through the rental office.

Are Mesquite golf packages cheaper than St. George packages?

Often. Third-party 2026 packages using Eureka Casino Resort started around $157 to $177 per person per night including golf, Virgin River advertises room-and-golf packages from $89, and CasaBlanca offers 20% off its Room & Golf packages. In St. George, most package prices are by quote only.

Do I need a package to play the St. George city golf courses?

No. Sunbrook, St. George Golf Club, Southgate and Dixie Red Hills book online 14 days out at the same rate for everyone outside Washington County. A third-party listing names Hilton Garden Inn, Fairfield Inn and Courtyard as Sunbrook package partners, with prices on inquiry.
