Signature holes
- #15 - the signature hole; about a 115-ft drop from tee to fairway, canal right and desert left (operator hole notes)
- #4 - No. 1 handicap; dogleg right with water on the right that is hidden from the tee; the club suggests a layup and a short wedge
- #11 - downhill par 3, all carry over desert
Local knowledge
- The back nine is the reason to play; signage between canyon holes is poor - first-timers should ask staff for directions (Aug 2025 review).
- The course is in Arizona, but its tee sheet runs on Mesquite (Pacific) time. In winter an Arizona phone clock reads one hour ahead of your tee time.
- Book as a CasaBlanca room+golf package for the advertised 20% package discount; group leaders can get a comp room and golf.
- Palms and CasaBlanca host rounds 1 and 2 of the Nevada Open (Nov 3-4, 2026), and the online sheet shows no public times Nov 3-7, 2026.
- Fall overseed dates are not posted; in 2025 it closed Sep 11 to Oct 2. Call before booking a September or early October trip.
