Signature holes
- #5 — No. 1 handicap, water down the left
- #16 — shortest hole, forced carry over a pond and stream
- #17 — described by the club as the hardest hole, natural wasteland down the right
- #3 — short par 4, driveable from some tees and heavily bunkered; wind decides it
Local knowledge
- Time zone: Mesquite is on Pacific time, one hour BEHIND St. George (Mountain) all year. Tee times are Mesquite local time, so a 9:00 tee time is 10:00 on a St. George clock.
- The tips play 141 slope, the stiffest in town after Wolf Creek, while the Clubs tees (6,109) are a friendly 124. Choose tees by how much forced water you want.
- Stay-and-play is the play here: CasaBlanca room plus golf packages are discounted, and the Palms (same owner) is a 5-minute drive.
- The Nevada Open (Nov 3–5, 2026) and resort tournaments (II-Man Fall Nov 6–8, Gobbler Classic Nov 22, Swing with Santa Dec 20) block tee sheets. Check before you book early-November trips.
- #18: drive center or left to avoid the bunkers right and OB left; a center-green approach takes the surrounding bunkers out of play.
- Low, flat and windy along the Virgin River, it plays much differently from the canyon courses up the hill. Afternoon wind is the main defense.
