Slope ladder: Myrtle Beach golf condos: the villas and condos that suit a golf group

Myrtle Beach golf condos come in two kinds: golf-course villas at Barefoot, Legends, True Blue and Pawleys Plantation, where you drive or walk to the first tee, and oceanfront condo resorts like North Beach Plantation, Kingston and The Breakers, with three- to five-bedroom units for a big group. Both beat hotel rooms for a group that wants kitchens and one place to meet.

This guide compares the condo and villa stays we track on the Grand Strand by bedrooms, nearest courses and golf ties, then covers the catches: owner-managed units, fees and inland locations. Few of these places publish nightly rates, so most prices here are package listings with dates noted.

Quick facts

  • On a course: Barefoot Golf Villas, Legends villas, True Blue Resort villas, Pawleys Plantation villas.
  • Oceanfront with big units: North Beach Plantation (up to 5 bedrooms), The Breakers (4-5 bedroom villas), Kingston (1-4 bedrooms).
  • Best for six: Marina Inn 3-bedroom suites, with a full bath per bedroom.
  • Best for eight: Pawleys Plantation 4-bedroom villas, True Blue 2-3 bedrooms for 6-8 guests.
  • Fee deal: Kingston waives resort and parking fees on group golf bookings.
  • Winter monthly: snowbird condos from $675 a month for 2026-27, plus tax and fees.

Golf-course villas

Barefoot Golf Villas. The North Strand's classic stay-and-play is a two-bedroom Golf Villa priced for four golfers. The Barefoot Experience, read November 1, 2026, includes three nights, one round on each of the four courses with one after noon, carts, taxes, range balls and daily breakfast at the Resort Clubhouse, at 25% off rack per round. A fourth night is free in Golf Villas outside blackout dates, and every 20th golfer is free for groups of 20 or more, with a 2% admin fee. Yacht Club Villas on the Intracoastal cost extra, and new Dye Club Cottages sit by The Dye Club. The villas are on the waterway side, about 10 minutes from the ocean. Our Barefoot Resort golf guide compares the Love, Fazio, Norman and Dye courses.

Legends villas. Two- and three-bedroom villas with full kitchens and washer-dryers sit around the Parkland course, with Heathland and Moorland on the same property, plus the Ailsa Pub, a large practice area and free parking. It is inland off US 501, with little to walk to in the evening. See the Legends Parkland course guide.

True Blue Resort villas. Owner villas beside True Blue's tee boxes, sold by Caledonia Golf Vacations with rounds at True Blue and Caledonia. Units are two and three bedrooms for six to eight guests, with full kitchens and washer-dryers, and packages are priced on quad or six occupancy. The package is the dependable way to get Caledonia times in spring and fall. Finishes vary because the units are owner condos, and the beach is about 3 miles away. See the True Blue course guide.

Pawleys Plantation villas. One- to four-bedroom villas, all with course views, on the semi-private Jack Nicklaus course at Pawleys Plantation. The Pawleys Island beach is about 5 minutes away, and True Blue is 7 minutes. A four-bedroom villa houses eight golfers. Members get preferred tee times, so book package times early for spring and fall. See the Pawleys Plantation course guide.

Oceanfront condo resorts for golf groups

North Beach Plantation. Oceanfront twin towers plus villas, from one-bedroom units to five-bedroom homes, with an indoor lazy river and hot tubs, 7 minutes from Barefoot. Its golf desk builds packages and cites Barefoot, Big Cats, the Glens and Legends as partners, and Barefoot sells it as lodging in its own packages. Units are privately owned and rented through more than one manager, so fees and amenities vary.

Kingston Resorts. A large oceanfront campus with one- to four-bedroom condos and villas with full kitchens, Royale Palms condos and an Embassy Suites tower, 4 minutes from Arcadian Shores. Book golf through the Kingston golf department and the group gets 30% off rooms, up to 25% off tee times, waived resort and parking fees, a golf gift, an hour in the simulator and breakfast. It is family-oriented, with a waterpark, and busy in summer.

The Breakers. A downtown oceanfront resort with rare four- and five-bedroom villas that fit eight to ten golfers. Brittain golf packages add hot breakfast, a best tee-time price guarantee, room savings when golf and room are booked together, and split payment so each golfer pays their share.

Avista Resort and Sea Watch. Avista is an oceanfront condo-hotel on Ocean Drive in North Myrtle Beach that sells golf packages but publishes little golf detail. Sea Watch has oceanfront condo-style rooms and suites and a Dunes Club Package. More in oceanfront hotels for Myrtle Beach golfers.

Suites for couples and sixsomes

The Marina Inn at Grande Dunes has about 200 units, including two- and three-bedroom suites with full kitchens, a living room with dining table and a full bathroom for each bedroom. That suits three couples or six golfers. It sits beside the Grande Dunes Resort Course, on the Intracoastal side rather than the ocean, and a resort fee applies (amount not found).

Monthly golf condos for winter

Several oceanfront resorts rent condos by the month for snowbirds. Rates are for 2026-27 and come with tax, a booking fee, damage protection, a $1-a-day resort fee and a departure cleaning on top. All four are booked by phone, take no pets and list a 55+ age rule.
