Fact box: Golf Condos Orange Beach Guide: Which Units Sleep Your Group, What the Fees Add Up To, and How Far the Tee Is

The best golf condos Orange Beach has for groups are at Turquoise Place, Caribe Resort and the Lost Key golf community on Perdido Key. Turquoise sleeps 8 to 15 in its 4-bedroom units, Caribe adds a marina and free boat slips, and Lost Key's condos sit on the course. Expect resort, cleaning and parking fees, and strict cancellation terms.

A condo beats hotel rooms for most golf groups of four to eight: one kitchen, one living room, a washer for golf clothes, and one address to meet at before the first tee. This guide compares the main golf condos Orange Beach offers, the fees that sit on top of the nightly rate, and which one fits which trip. Drive times are free-flow road estimates. Prices were seen in October 2026 and change.

Turquoise Place: the big-group splurge

Turquoise Place is two glass towers of 3 to 5-bedroom condos on the Gulf, managed by Spectrum Resorts. A 4-bedroom, 4.5-bath unit gives each pair of golfers a king suite with its own bath, and many units have an outdoor balcony kitchen with a gas grill plus a private hot tub. There's a lazy river, indoor and Gulf-front pools, a fitness center and a sauna. A seasonal Club Lounge serves a free continental breakfast from 7 to 10 am.

What it costs: one late-November snapshot (November 29 to December 1, 2026) was about $578 a night, about $670 with taxes and fees, for an unspecified unit. That's about $84 per person per night for eight golfers, before the resort fee (amount not published), the cleaning fee and the guest vehicle registration fee. A mid-stay clean is $240 a day for a 3BR, $285 for a 4BR and $400 for a 5BR. Early check-in at 1 pm and late checkout each cost $100.

The catch is the cancellation policy: no refunds inside the cancellation window for any reason, including hurricane evacuation or illness, and no date or unit changes within 45 days. Spectrum recommends travel insurance (its Sun Trip Preserver is 7.75%). If you book August to October, take that seriously.

From Turquoise, the golf is evenly split: Lost Key about 19 minutes east and Gulf Shores Golf Club about 18 west. City Donut and Shrimp Basket are a 9 to 10 minute walk.

Caribe Resort: golf and a fishing day

Caribe sits on a 30-plus acre peninsula at Perdido Pass, between the Gulf and the bay, with condo towers A to D. Units seen include 3-bedroom, 3-bath condos that sleep up to 10 (some with three kings) and 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath units. Amenities include a lazy river, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, saunas, pickleball and tennis, and Cobalt, the on-site seafood restaurant.

The golf angle: Lost Key is about 17 minutes east across the Perdido Pass bridge, the closest of the Orange Beach condos, and Perdido Bay about 19. The fishing angle: free boat slips and an on-site marina for a charter day between rounds.

Read the fine print. Each unit's owner or manager sets the minimum age (22 or 25), parking passes and fees, and cleaning charges. Caribe is on the bay side, and a resort trolley runs guests to the beach. No reliable nightly rate was captured, but unit listings advertise a 7th night free on 7+ night stays (code 7THNIGHTFREE) and low monthly rates from November to February.

Lost Key condos: wake up on the course

The Lost Key Golf and Beach Club community on Perdido Key, Florida, is a gated 413-acre development of 2- and 3-bedroom condos with screened balconies on the Lost Key course. A foursome fits one 3-bedroom unit; eight golfers need two. Community pools, hot tubs, a fitness room and lighted tennis are run by the HOA, and a free shuttle runs to a Gulf-front beach club with a restaurant and bar.

Golf isn't included in the rentals. One listing said some units transfer a family membership (about $35 plus about $20 a round for a cart), but that's unverified, so ask each manager. Lost Key's public online rates in late October 2026 were $80 before about 1 pm and $65 after, plus 7.5% Florida tax and a 3% card fee, and the tee sheet opens 14 days out at midnight. Perdido Bay is about 9 minutes away. See the Lost Key course guide and the Perdido Bay course guide.

The trade-off: you're 35 minutes from Gulf Shores Golf Club and Craft Farms, and you drive or shuttle to the beach. Our Perdido Key golf guide covers this side.

Are golf condos in Orange Beach cheaper than hotel rooms?

For four to eight golfers, the golf condos Orange Beach managers rent are often cheaper per person, but only once you count the fees. Compare:

Option Snapshot rate For Per person per night
Turquoise Place 4BRAbout $670 incl. taxes (late Nov 2026)8About $84, plus resort, cleaning and parking fees
Hampton Inn & Suites Orange Beach, two inland rooms$113 each (mid-Jan 2027 weeknight, before tax)4About $57, plus $15/day parking
Hampton Inn & Suites, two beachfront studios$210 each (mid-Jan 2027)4About $105
Hampton Inn & Suites, two beachfront studios$431 each (mid-July 2027)4About $216

Hotel rooms win on flexibility (Hilton's flexible rates usually cancel free until a set time before arrival) and free breakfast at the Hampton. Condos win on space, kitchens, laundry and one shared living room. For full hotel options, see our Orange Beach golf trip planner.

What to ask before you book a golf condo

  1. Beds, not bedrooms. How many kings, queens and bunks? A "sleeps 15" unit includes a bunk room.
  2. Parking passes. How many come with the unit, and what does a third car cost? Are trucks or trailers allowed?
  3. Every fee. Resort fee, cleaning fee, vehicle registration, mid-stay cleaning, early check-in.
  4. Cancellation and hurricanes. What happens if there's a mandatory evacuation? In October 2026, Hurricane Isaias forced one in Gulf Shores.
  5. Minimum age. 21, 22 or 25 depending on the property and manager.
  6. Golf. At Lost Key, does the unit transfer a membership? Elsewhere, golf is booked separately.
  7. Washer and dryer. Most units have one; confirm for a week of golf.

Which golf condo fits your trip?

  • Lost Key and Perdido Bay all week: a Lost Key condo.
  • A mix of east and west: Turquoise Place, roughly 18 to 21 minutes from Lost Key, Perdido Bay, Gulf Shores Golf Club and Craft Farms.
  • Golf plus fishing charters: Caribe Resort.
  • Kiva Dunes and Peninsula: skip Orange Beach. The Fort Morgan condos (Kiva Dunes rentals, The Beach Club, Gulf Shores Plantation) are 0 to 3 minutes from Kiva Dunes; see Fort Morgan golf.
  • Evenings on the range: all three are within 25 minutes of the city's lighted Orange Beach Golf Center, open until 9 pm.
