Course notes for April

Oasis Palmer and Oasis Canyons share prices, and the $210 morning rate was the same on every March and April 2027 sample, rechecked on October 23. Afternoon times move to 2 PM in spring, a later cut-off than the noon twilight of winter. The club rates the Canyons the harder of the two; see the Oasis Canyons course guide. Clark County, Nevada and Washington County, Utah residents get an unpublished resident rate.

Falcon Ridge is the only course with priced dates right through April. Most mornings were $195, with small bumps on a few dates ($199.87 on April 3) and $209.82 on April 30. Its three afternoon tiers step down to $105 from 3:30 PM, but finishing 18 is not guaranteed. The back-nine greens were replaced in summer 2026, so April 2027 is their first spring. See the Falcon Ridge course guide.

Wolf Creek charged its top rates of the year in early April 2026: $390 Monday to Thursday and $420 Friday to Sunday until April 7, then $360 and $390. If you are deciding whether a $300-plus round is worth it, see the Wolf Creek golf course review and the Wolf Creek course guide.

Conestoga kept its spring band ($205 to $300 published) to April 30 in 2026, then dropped to $155 to $225 in May. Public prices are dynamic and ran above the published bands on busy days in late 2026.

CasaBlanca Golf Club and Palms priced online only through January 21, 2027 when checked. Both open 120 days ahead, so April prices should appear from mid-December. For a firm number earlier, ask CasaBlanca's Golf Package Coordinator (877-438-2929) about room-and-golf at the advertised 20% package discount.

Coyote Springs had nothing loaded for spring. It aerified its greens on May 12 and 13 in 2026 and discounted rates for about two weeks after, which is worth watching if your trip runs into May.

Coyote Willows, the $50 nine, only loads 30 days ahead.

Early April or late April?

On the 2026 pattern, early April is the most expensive stretch at Wolf Creek, which ran its $390 to $420 tier until April 7, and the tail of spring break keeps family travel heavy. Mid-April is a good balance: Wolf Creek's slightly lower tier, Oasis and Falcon Ridge holding steady, and weather a little warmer than March. Late April starts to soften: Conestoga's 2026 spring band ended April 30, Wolf Creek's lower tier ran to May 5, and May brings step-downs across town. The catch is Mesquite Days at the very end of the month.

Is Mesquite busy in April?

Yes, it is still peak season. Spring break and Easter (March 28, 2027) bring the heaviest family travel of the year in the St. George and Mesquite corridor through March and into early April, on top of snowbird season. March is the tightest month, and early April shares some of that.

Mesquite Days, the town's main community festival with a carnival, parade, pancake breakfast and fun run, runs in late April and early May (April 29 to May 2 in 2026; 2027 not published). It has a minor effect on lodging, and Mesquite Blvd is closed on parade morning. World Long Drive held an April event at the Mesquite Sports and Events Complex in 2025, but no 2026 or 2027 Mesquite dates were found.

A sample midweek April trip

Here is how three mid-April rounds price out on what was posted, per player:

  • Monday, April 12: Oasis Palmer, $210 before 2 PM ($140 after).
  • Tuesday, April 13: Falcon Ridge, $195 on a typical April morning.
  • Wednesday, April 14: Wolf Creek. No 2027 rate was posted; in 2026 the same week was $360 on a weekday.

That is $405 for the two posted rounds before Wolf Creek, against $275 if you took the Oasis 2 PM rate and Falcon Ridge's $135 from 2:00 instead. The late afternoon tiers may not finish 18. Our twilight golf in Mesquite guide has every course's afternoon rate.

Getting to Mesquite in April

Most visitors fly into Las Vegas (LAS), about 97 minutes and 90.8 miles from Mesquite by OSRM. The March basketball weeks are over by April, though the NCAA women's regional runs March 26 to 29, 2027, so the first days of an early-April trip may still see busier Las Vegas hotels. The Salt Lake Express shuttle takes 1 hour 25 minutes from Terminal 1 to CasaBlanca and Virgin River ($33 to $41 one way on a sampled weekday). Driving down from Utah, Salt Lake City is about 4 hours 56 minutes and 340 miles on I-15, and you gain an hour at the Nevada line.

Where to stay in April

Hotel Wed Apr 14, 2027 Sat Apr 17, 2027
Virgin River Casino & Lodge$50.40$93.60
CasaBlanca Resort$134.49$188.49

Official online calendar rates seen October 23, 2026, before tax; CasaBlanca's appear to include its $12.99 resort fee. CasaBlanca's pool runs 10 AM to 6 PM Sunday to Thursday and to 7 PM on Fridays and Saturdays from March 26 to May 27. Weekends cost about 40% more at CasaBlanca and nearly double at Virgin River on these dates, so a Sunday-to-Thursday trip saves the most. For a Friday-to-Sunday plan, see the Mesquite golf weekend guide.

April afternoons, heat and rest days

April afternoons are warm but not hot. With May's normal high at 92.5F, late April is the point where morning tee times start to matter for comfort. Carry water and use the cart.

For a rest day, Valley of Fire is about 1 hour 10 minutes away at $15 per non-Nevada vehicle, and its trails are open until May 15, when many close for heat. Zion Canyon is about 1 hour 28 minutes away; the 2027 shuttle schedule after January 2 was not posted when checked, and non-US residents 16 and over pay $100 per person on top of the $35 vehicle fee. See things to do in Mesquite NV.

If you are adding Utah rounds, St. George is about 40 to 45 minutes up I-15, and the best time to golf in St. George covers that side. For the month before, see golf in Mesquite in March, and for the whole year, the best time to golf in Mesquite.
