Myrtle Beach tee times can be booked months ahead: several course booking sites already showed April 2027 times on November 1, 2026. Book spring and fall weekends first, use a package or myrtlebeachgolf.com for groups ($100 per person deposit), and read each course's cancellation rule. The Dunes Club takes guests only on limited times, Sunday to Thursday, never on holiday weekends.

This guide sorts the Grand Strand's booking routes, how far ahead each opens, and the rules that catch groups out. Facts are from our course files, read November 1, 2026.

Quick facts

  • How far ahead: five-plus months on several course sites (April 2027 visible on November 1, 2026).
  • Group booking: myrtlebeachgolf.com, $100 per person deposit, balance 30 days before arrival.
  • Barefoot: 72 hours' notice per foursome to cancel; packages forfeit inside 30 days.
  • Dunes Club: limited guest times; no unaccompanied guests Friday, Saturday or holiday weekends.
  • Package-only courses: Legends and Heritage Club go through a Golfmaster on myrtlebeachgolf.com.
  • Hardest weeks: spring and fall weekends, World Am week, Myrtle Beach Classic week at the Dunes.

Course booking sites: the furthest-out sheets

The courses on Omnitech sheets publish their own online rates and show times a long way out. On November 1, 2026, Prestwick, Wachesaw East, Blackmoor, the International Club and Azalea Sands all showed mid-April 2027 times. Prestwick's summer 2027 sheet was not loaded yet.

Prestwick is the one to book early. It is a member club that sells public times, GolfPass calls non-member play "extremely limited", and Saturday November 7, 2026 sold out on GolfNow. See the Prestwick course guide.

Azalea Sands says to call the shop rather than book online if you want to skip convenience fees. At the International Club, an October 2026 reviewer reported a booked time not being honored, so confirm with the pro shop.

myrtlebeachgolf.com and Founders Group packages

Myrtlebeachgolf.com is the Founders Group International booking site. Its live tee sheets show per-golfer rates with cart for the Founders courses, which in our files include Pine Lakes, Myrtlewood, the three Myrtle Beach National courses such as King's North, Wild Wing, River Hills, Long Bay, TPC Myrtle Beach, the Founders Club, Willbrook, Litchfield and Pawleys Plantation. Founders packages add multi-round discounts, a $100 gift card after four or more Founders rounds and a "Founders Inclusive" option with lunch, two drinks and range balls.

The terms, from its FAQ: book spring and fall weekends as far ahead as possible, pay a $100 per person deposit, and pay the balance 30 days before arrival. The site does not sell the Legends courses or Heritage Club on its open sheet; those go through a Golfmaster, usually inside a package. See Founders Group courses and Myrtle Beach golf packages.

Barefoot: rules for groups

  • Cancel 72 hours out per foursome on tee times.
  • Packages within 30 days of arrival forfeit in full.
  • Replays at the reduced rate are booked in person on the day, after the first round; a replay booked in advance pays full rate.
  • Groups of 20 or more get every 20th golfer free on the stay-and-play package.

See the Barefoot Resort golf guide.

The Dunes Club and other restricted sheets

The Dunes Club is a private member club with a limited number of guest tee times. They show online only when members, tournaments and maintenance leave room; if nothing appears, call 843-449-5914. No unaccompanied guest play on Fridays, Saturdays or holiday weekends, and the club closes Mondays for maintenance in winter and summer. Some oceanfront resorts sell Dunes Club packages. See who can play the Dunes Club.

Tidewater lets Players Card holders book 48 hours ahead and annual members 72 hours; its public internet window is not published. Long Bay is semi-private; a third-party guide says members hold the morning times, so public times are easiest in the afternoon (not an official policy). See the Tidewater course guide.

GolfNow and Hot Deals

Most public courses also list on GolfNow and TeeOff. Hot Deals are often the cheapest times, but the rules are stricter. Azalea Sands notes GolfNow cancellations need 72 hours. Prestwick warns that some GolfNow times are resold by GolfNow rather than the club, refundable only if cancelled 24 or more hours ahead. GolfNow added a booking fee of $0.99 to $3.49 per player on the deals seen. North Carolina courses such as Thistle also price dynamically: prime fall weekend mornings there can top $150, with afternoons about half that.

When to book

  1. Spring and fall weekends: as early as the sheets open; months ahead is normal.
  2. Event weeks: World Am week (late August-early September) blocks tee times at host courses, and the Dunes Club closes to outside play around the Myrtle Beach Classic, May 13-16, 2027.
  3. Summer and winter: tee sheets are quieter, and in summer they are open early and late in the day.
  4. Scarcest times first: Prestwick's limited public times and any Dunes Club guest time, then fill the rest.

Questions golfers ask

How far in advance can I book Myrtle Beach tee times?

Further than most places. On November 1, 2026, the course booking sites for Prestwick, Wachesaw East, Blackmoor, the International Club and Azalea Sands already showed mid-April 2027 times, more than five months out. Most courses publish no fixed window.

What is the best way to book Myrtle Beach tee times for a group?

For groups, a package or a booking site that holds several courses. Myrtlebeachgolf.com, the Founders Group booking site, takes a $100 per person deposit with the balance due 30 days before arrival and advises booking spring and fall weekends as early as possible. Barefoot's package gives every 20th golfer free on groups of 20 or more.

How do I get a tee time at the Dunes Club?

Guest times appear on the club's online booking engine when the sheet is not taken by members, tournaments or maintenance. If nothing shows, call 843-449-5914. Unaccompanied guests cannot play Fridays, Saturdays or holiday weekends, and the club closes Mondays in winter and summer.

What is Barefoot's cancellation policy?

Tee times need 72 hours' notice per foursome to cancel, and package cancellations within 30 days of arrival forfeit in full, per the resort FAQ in our files. A reduced replay can only be booked on the day, in person, after your first round.

Can I book Legends or Heritage Club online?

Not on myrtlebeachgolf.com's live tee sheet. That site books the Legends courses and Heritage Club through a Golfmaster, typically inside a package. MyrtleBeachGolf.com's Heritage Club listing advises booking it as part of a package.

Are GolfNow tee times refundable in Myrtle Beach?

It depends on the time. Azalea Sands notes GolfNow cancellations need 72 hours. At Prestwick, some GolfNow times are resold by GolfNow rather than the club, with refunds only if cancelled 24 or more hours ahead. Hot Deals are prepaid, so read the terms before you book.

When are Myrtle Beach tee times hardest to get?

Spring (March-April) and fall (October to early November) weekends, and event weeks. The World Am in late August blocks tee times at its host courses for about 3,000 players, and the Dunes Club is unavailable to outside play around the Myrtle Beach Classic (May 13-16, 2027).
