Gulf Shores Tee Times: When Every Course Opens Its Booking Window

Gulf Shores tee times open anywhere from 7 to 180 days ahead, depending on the course. Kiva Dunes opens public tee times 120 days out and Gulf Shores Golf Club 46 days, while GlenLakes opens at 21 days, Lost Key and Perdido Bay at 14, and the RTJ Trail courses at just 7. Peninsula and Craft Farms don't publish a public window, so call them.

Gulf Shores tee times booking windows

Windows and rules were read on each course's booking site in October 2026. They change, so check before you count on them. Drive times are from central Gulf Shores on our map's routing.

How each Gulf Shores booking system works

Kiva Dunes (Chronogolf, 120 days)

Kiva Dunes is the tee time most groups chase first. Chronogolf states that public players can only book 120 days in advance. You pay at the course, not online, and cancellations need 48 hours' notice. When a time is sold out, the Noteefy waitlist (kivadunes.noteefy.app) alerts you if it opens up.

Condo renters who book through Kiva Dunes Beach Resort get preferred tee times and a discounted rate, except during peak golf season. Stay-and-play packages are sold by phone at 866-540-7100. The Kiva Dunes course guide has the rates by season.

Gulf Shores Golf Club (foreUP, 46 days)

The public window is 46 days, a credit card is required, and each booking holds a maximum of four players. Groups larger than four should call the pro shop. Twilight start times move with sunset: about 1:30 to 2 PM in October and November 2026, and 12:30 PM by early December.

Peninsula and Craft Farms (EZLinks, window not published)

Both clubs are owned by the same company and use EZLinks tee sheets. Peninsula says that for winter 2026-27 there is "no seven-day booking window" and pricing is dynamic, so the earlier you book, the lower the rate. It also says direct online booking is always cheapest and adds a 3% fee on card payments. Your two nines are announced on the day of play, so you can't book a specific 18.

Craft Farms doesn't publish a public window either. Six-Pack card holders book 14 days out, and Baldwin County local-rate players must book within 48 hours of the tee time by phone. Military and first-responder rates are phone-only too.

GlenLakes (TeeItUp, 21 days)

The GlenLakes sheet opens at midnight, 21 days ahead: on Oct 30, for example, the Nov 20 times opened. Online tee times are prepaid and non-refundable, and you need to bring the printed confirmation. If there's any chance your plans change, book by phone. The dynamic price falls through the day, from $85.50 early to $37 after 3 PM on Oct 27, 2026.

Lost Key, Perdido Bay and Soldiers Creek (TeeItUp, 14 days)

All three open 14 days out. Lost Key's sheet opens at midnight Central, and its online prices in late October 2026 ($80 morning, $65 after 1 PM) were below the posted $95 rack. Perdido Bay lets groups of four or more book further out by contacting the shop, and it doesn't send singles or twosomes out before 10 AM. Soldiers Creek's December 20 times opened on December 6, so the window really is two weeks.

The RTJ Trail (7 days online, or packages)

Lakewood Dogwood, Azalea and the Magnolia Grove courses moved to online-only advance booking on June 1, 2026. Public players book up to 7 days ahead, and the shop only takes same-day bookings by phone. Trail Card and annual members get 11 days, and Platinum members 14.

To lock in an RTJ round further ahead, buy a package. RTJ Reservations (1-800-949-4444, option 2) books packages and groups up to 12 months out, with prepayment required outside 7 days. The specials require at least two days and 48 hours' notice. RTJ doesn't allow fivesomes. Grand Hotel guests book Lakewood through the resort.

A booking calendar for a spring Gulf Shores golf trip

Spring is when the Gulf Shores tee times booking window matters most. Here's when each one opens for a round on Monday, Mar 15, 2027:

For Peninsula and Craft Farms, call as soon as your dates are set. Peninsula's pricing rewards booking early, and Craft Farms' Six-Pack orders for winter 2026-27 close on Nov 15, 2026.

Tips for booking Gulf Shores tee times

Book the long windows first. Kiva Dunes has the longest Gulf Shores tee times booking window on the beach side, and it's the scarce one. Set a reminder for 120 days before your first round and build the rest of the week around that time.

Pair courses by road. Peninsula and Kiva Dunes sit on the same Fort Morgan Road, 14 and 24 minutes from central Gulf Shores. Book them back to back to avoid two long drives.

Compare GolfNow with the course site. In late October 2026, GolfNow hot deals at Gulf Shores Golf Club were $74.99 to $79.99 for afternoon times, under the club's $99 twilight. GlenLakes' GolfNow deals were $61.92. The opposite can be true too: Peninsula says direct is always cheapest.

Read the refund rule before you pay. GlenLakes' prepaid online times can't be cancelled. Kiva needs 48 hours. Lost Key adds a 3% card fee on top of Florida tax.

Groups of more than four. Gulf Shores Golf Club caps online bookings at four, so call. Perdido Bay will book four or more further ahead by phone. Use twilight. Several courses cut prices sharply in the afternoon. Kiva's twilight saves about $30 to $40, and Rock Creek's October rates roughly halved after 2 PM. See cheap golf in Gulf Shores.

Check maintenance days. At Lakewood, Azalea's maintenance day is Monday and Dogwood's is Tuesday, and RTJ ranges close for part of every Tuesday. Quail Creek opens at 11 AM on Thursdays.
