Foothills Par 3 in Yuma is a public nine-hole par 27 in the Fortuna Foothills, with holes of 60 to 175 yards, a driving range open all day and lighted night golf from Tuesday to Saturday. In late October 2026 it cost $20 to walk nine or $25 with a cart, and night golf was also $20.

The course
Foothills Par 3 is a walkable desert nine with mountain views. Every hole is a par 3, from 60 to 175 yards, so a wedge, a few short irons and a putter will do. It plays 1,040 yards from the Black tees and 835 from the White tees. It is not rated by the USGA, and we rate it 1 of 5 for difficulty.
The club site credits Paul White, the designer listed for Las Barrancas, and gives 1995 as the opening year. It is a separate course from Foothills Executive, with its own website, phone, tee sheet and address about 500 meters to the west.
Foothills Par 3 Yuma rates
| Item | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Nine holes, walking | $20 | Posted and on the live sheet |
| Nine holes with a cart | $25 | Live sheet, Oct 24-30, 2026 |
| Cart | $5 | |
| Pull cart | $2 | |
| Night golf | $20 | Dusk to about 8:54 PM on the live sheet |
| Glow ball | $3 | |
| LED ball | $5, or $30 for six |
No seasonal rate change, twilight rate, senior rate, summer rate or pass is published (checked Oct 23, 2026). The rate page lists night golf as "18 holes, cart included" at $20, which is odd for a walking par 3, so ask at the shop what that covers. Rates change. For more ways to play cheaply, see cheap golf in Yuma.
Hours and night golf
The course lists daily hours of 6 AM to 6 PM all year. The live tee sheet for Oct 24 and 27, 2026 ran from 6:30 AM to 8:54 PM, because night golf extends the day. Night golf runs Tuesday to Saturday from 6:00 to 9:30 PM under lights, and the club calendar listed Par 3 Night Golf on Fridays and Saturdays through October 2026.
There is no twilight rate here; night golf is the late option. In winter the sun sets around 5:30 PM, so night golf is the way to fit in a round after work or after a full day on another course. Buy LED balls in the shop before you go out.
The Foothills Par 3 Deli & Bar
The deli and bar serves breakfast, sandwiches, pizza and snacks, plus canned beer, wine, seltzers and cocktails, with take-out by phone. On night-golf evenings it stays open to about 11 PM. For more places to eat on this side of town, see where to eat in Yuma.
Booking and phone numbers
Book online through Quick18 up to 7 days ahead, with a maximum of four players, or walk in. Cancel at least 24 hours ahead by phone. The course is listed with phone 928-342-9565, but its rates page lists 928-342-7130, which is the Las Barrancas golf shop. Do not mix it up with Foothills Executive next door, which has its own number and tee sheet.
Overseed
On the Arizona Golf Association's 2026 list, Foothills Par 3 closed for overseed on Sep 25 and reopened on Oct 9, 2026, and it was taking tee times in late October. In 2024 it reopened on Oct 8. It came back earlier than both nines at Las Barrancas in 2026, so it is a useful early-October option. Our Yuma golf overseed guide has every course's dates.
Using it for short-game practice
The Par 3 is the only one of the three Las Barrancas properties with a range, a putting green and a chipping green together, plus nine real holes to test them on. A practice session might be a bucket on the range, half an hour on the chipping green, then nine holes keeping score only inside 100 yards.
For full-swing work with ball data, the 12-bay Trackman range at Las Barrancas charges $20 for 30 minutes or $40 an hour. Our Yuma driving range guide compares every practice option in town.
How it pairs with its sister courses
The three courses sit within a few minutes of each other on County 14th St and E 48th St:
- Las Barrancas: the full 18, $65 with a cart.
- Foothills Executive: a par-34 nine at $35, with the Tipsy Cactus cantina on site. See our Foothills Executive golf course guide.
- Foothills Par 3: the $20 nine, the range and night golf.
A winter week in the Foothills can use all three: two or three rounds at Las Barrancas, one executive nine on a lighter day, and a range-and-par-3 practice session or a night round in between. Our snowbird golf schedule for Yuma lays out a full rotation.

Who Foothills Par 3 suits
- Winter visitors who want a weekly short-game session without driving into town. The range, chipping green and nine holes are all in one place.
- Beginners, juniors and partners who want a short round at a flat price: $20 to walk nine at any hour on the sheet we saw.
- Groups looking for an evening out. Night golf from 6 PM and a bar open to about 11 PM make it an easy night with no long drive back to the Foothills hotels and RV parks.
It suits you less if you want long-iron and driver work on the course itself; every hole is 175 yards or shorter.
Foothills Par 3 in the summer and across time zones
May to September brings extreme heat to Yuma. NOAA normals for the Yuma airfield give highs of about 103F in June and 107F in July, with July and August lows near 83F, so even the evenings stay hot. The course lists the same 6 AM to 6 PM hours all year, but no summer rate is published, and whether night golf keeps its Tuesday-to-Saturday schedule in summer is not stated. Call before planning a summer evening round, and our Yuma summer golf guide covers playing in the heat.
Visitors driving in from California should remember that Yuma stays on Mountain Standard Time. From Nov 1, 2026 to Mar 14, 2027, night golf at 6:00 PM in Yuma is 5:00 PM in San Diego and Palm Springs.
