Naples tee times open anywhere from 3 to 90 days ahead, depending on the course. Most public courses here use short windows: 7 days at Stoneybrook and the Fort Myers city courses, 4 days at Shell Point, 3 at Babcock National. Saltleaf (90 days) and Valencia (30 days online) are the long exceptions. In peak season, book the day each window opens.

This guide lists the booking window, system and cancellation rules for every public, semi-private and guest-only course in our files from Naples to Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Sanibel and Punta Gorda. Details come from club pages read on November 3, 2026; booking policies change, so confirm on the course's own site.

Quick facts

  • Longest public window: Saltleaf, 90 days (card required, cancel 48 hours ahead).
  • Most common window: 7 days (Stoneybrook, Fort Myers CC, Eastwood, Ibis Landing, Palmetto-Pine).
  • Shortest: Babcock National, 3 days.
  • Phone booking: often shorter than online; the city courses take phone bookings only 1 day ahead.
  • Peak demand: January to April; morning times sell first.
  • Guest-only courses: Tiburón, LaPlaya and the Rookery book through the club or resort.

Courses with long booking windows

Saltleaf is the one public course you can lock in months ahead. Its rates page sets a 90-day window, a card at booking and a 48-hour cancellation rule, for both the 18-hole Preserve and the Leaf par 3, which has its own booking page. Many maps and listings still call it Raptor Bay; book under Saltleaf. See the Saltleaf course guide.

Valencia opens online 30 days ahead and by phone 2 days ahead, which makes it easy to slot into a trip. Passholders get longer windows elsewhere: Stoneybrook's annual pass gives 60 days, Cape Royal's 12-Month Pass gives 15-day priority, Panther Run's Panther Pass gives 10 days, and Bonita Fairways members get 7 days.

The 7-day courses: book the morning the window opens

Most public courses open a week out. The Fort Myers city courses release online times on foreUP 7 days ahead, while phone lines (open at 8 am) only book the next day, so book online. Single players may walk on, but groups of two or more must reserve. At Fort Myers Country Club children under 6 are not allowed on the course, and from October 15, 2026 neither are non-playing riders at either city course. The Fort Myers Country Club course guide has more.

Ibis Landing posts times online 7 days ahead at midnight through Troon, and its online specials apply only to online bookings. See the Ibis Landing course guide. Stoneybrook opens public times a week out on foreUP; the club is cashless and says its lowest rates are online. Palmetto-Pine sells public times 7 days ahead on its own site, with members on a separate tee sheet.

Short windows: plan these late

The Dunes on Sanibel lets the public book 5 days ahead, against 14 for members. Shell Point books only 4 days out through Club Caddie, does not allow fivesomes, and starts its public 18-hole rates at 10 am because members get the early times. Babcock National at Babcock Ranch opens public times just 3 days ahead on GolfNow or by phone. Build these into the back half of a trip once the rest is set.

Dynamic pricing and booking direct

Several courses price by demand, so when you book changes what you pay. Spanish Wells says its lowest rates are always online and that walk-up and phone bookings cost more. Coral Oaks says booking direct on its own site gets the best available rate, and Cape Royal says the same. The Rookery says booking further ahead brings lower dynamic rates. On GolfNow, prepaid "Hot Deal" times can be cheap, especially in summer, but usually need 24 hours' notice to cancel and singles may be paired; ArrowHead and Sanibel Island Golf Club both sell this way.

Guest-only courses: Tiburón, LaPlaya and the Rookery

  • Tiburón: tee times through the club's system (tiburon.ezlinks.com) or the golf department, for guests of the two Ritz-Carltons, who book with the room. Whether non-guests can book in season was not confirmed. The Gold closes for the CME Group Tour Championship (November 19-22, 2026) and the Grant Thornton Invitational (December 11-13, 2026), and the Black for the Chubb Classic (February 11-14, 2027). See the Tiburón Golf Club guide.
  • LaPlaya Golf Club: LaPlaya resort guests and club members only, booked in 10-minute intervals through the club (239-431-9330).
  • The Rookery and Hammock Bay: JW Marriott Marco Island guests book through the Rookery's golf site. The hotel shuttle runs every half hour from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm but must be reserved.

Other courses and how they book

Tips for getting the tee time you want

  1. Set reminders for the day each window opens, and book online, not by phone.
  2. Book the long-window courses first, then fill in the 3- to 7-day courses.
  3. Expect pairing as a single or twosome in season; Eagle Lakes may move you up to 8 minutes.
  4. Avoid tournament weeks at Tiburón and spring-training days near Daniels Parkway in Fort Myers.
  5. Read the cancellation rules before you prepay.

For a weekly routine built on these windows, see the snowbird golf schedule for Naples. Big groups should read the Fort Myers buddies golf trip guide. Prices by season are in Naples golf rates and cheap golf in Naples, every bookable course is in public golf courses in Naples, and the busiest weeks are in the best time to golf in Naples and Naples golf in March. Questions golfers ask

How far in advance can I book tee times in Naples?

It depends on the course. Saltleaf opens 90 days ahead and Valencia 30 days online, but most public courses are much shorter: Stoneybrook and the Fort Myers city courses 7 days, The Dunes 5, Shell Point 4 and Babcock National 3. Passholders often get longer windows.

Can anyone book Tiburón tee times?

Tee times are reserved through the club's own system (tiburon.ezlinks.com) or the golf department, and access in our files is for guests of The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón and The Ritz-Carlton, Naples. GolfNow and TeeOff have facility pages, but whether non-guests can book in season was not confirmed.

What booking systems do Naples courses use?

A mix. The Fort Myers city courses, Stoneybrook and Eagle Lakes use foreUP; Saltleaf, Westminster, San Carlos, Myerlee and Coral Oaks use TeeItUp pages; Ibis Landing, Webb's Reserve and Burnt Store book through Troon; Shell Point uses Club Caddie; and many courses also sell times on GolfNow.

What are the cancellation rules for Naples tee times?

They vary: Saltleaf needs 48 hours and a card, Spanish Wells and Eagle Lakes 24 hours (48 for groups of 8 or more at Eagle Lakes), and GolfNow prepaid times usually 24 hours. Missing the deadline usually means a charge.

Can a single golfer get a tee time in Naples in season?

Yes, but expect to be paired. The Fort Myers city courses let singles walk on while groups of two or more must reserve, Eagle Lakes may move singles and twosomes up to 8 minutes to build foursomes, and GolfNow listings say singles may be paired.

How do big groups book tee times?

Ibis Landing lets groups of 16 or more book 8 days out by phone, a day before the public window. Shell Point does not allow fivesomes. For most courses, call the golf shop for groups, since online systems cap at foursomes.

When do Naples tee times sell out?

January to April, especially February and March, when snowbirds, spring training and spring breaks overlap. Morning times go first, so book the day the window opens. Westminster runs a Noteefy waitlist for sold-out times.
