Prices were seen on club pages and booking sites in 2026, mostly on November 3; rates change by month and often by day.

The Fort Myers city courses: the cheapest real golf

If you want a full-size course at the lowest price, go to Fort Myers. The city's two courses share one rate structure, posted a month at a time. In November 2026 it was $70 with cart from 7 am to noon, $55 from noon to 3 pm and $35 after 3 pm, tax included; walking was $45, $35 and $20. In the May-September 2026 off-season, the cart rates were $45, $35 and $30, with walking from $20.

Fort Myers Country Club is a 1917 Donald Ross course, and walking it after 3 pm in November for $20 is about the cheapest Ross round you will find. Eastwood is the longer course, 7,129 yards through pines and water. Book on foreUP when the 7-day window opens; phone booking is only one day out. One rule to know: from October 15, 2026, non-playing riders are not allowed. More in the Fort Myers golf courses guide.

Cheap golf on the Naples side

Collier County's public courses cost more, but there are still deals:

  • Eagle Lakes posted $89 to $109 for November-December 2026 and $55 from 2:30 pm, one of the cheaper regulation rounds in Naples this fall. The 2024 fairways are fresh, and it is 24 minutes from downtown. See the Eagle Lakes course guide.
  • Hibiscus, 9 minutes from downtown, runs $159, $129 and $99 by time of day, with 9 holes from $59. Its Frequent Player Card takes 20% off, and juniors 15 and under pay $50. Winter 2026-27 is its last public season.
  • ArrowHead in North Naples had GolfNow deals at $51.99 with cart in August 2026; season rates were not published. See the ArrowHead course guide.
  • Valencia, out east in Orangetree, lets juniors 15 and under play free with a paying adult and gives Florida residents and military 10% off.

Summer: the cheapest golf of the year

June to September brings the lowest rates and resident and summer deals. Bonita Fairways's GolfNow deals ran $28 to $33 with cart, Sanibel Island Golf Club had prepaid deals at about $36 to $71, and Stoneybrook's May-October card was $99, $75 and $55. Even Lely's Flamingo Island was about $108 with cart on GolfNow for a September tee time.

The trade-offs are real. Highs are about 90F, there are 15 to 19 rain days a month, and afternoon thunderstorms with lightning stop play most days, so book the first tee times. Many courses also close for a week or more for aerification, and greens are bumpy for one to two weeks after. Babcock National closes Tuesdays all summer. See summer golf in Naples.

Shoulder-season bargains

Early November and early December sit between the summer lows and peak prices. The Dunes on Sanibel charged $69 from November 1-15, then $130 from November 16 and $169 in December. Ibis Landing's October rates started at $69 before noon (October 1-15) before stepping up to $99 in November. Stoneybrook's November-December morning rate of $130 is $69 below its January-April rate of $199.

Executive courses and nines

Short courses are the cheapest golf of all. Hunter's Run in Cape Coral ($20, nine holes, par 30) has posted open-play hours around its leagues. Bonita Fairways is a par-61 executive. Myerlee is a par 60 with a $325 summer membership. Cross Creek, a par 60, takes public tee times but closes Mondays from November to April. They suit warm-up rounds and beginners rather than a trip highlight.

Cheap golf near Naples for groups

Groups get value from courses that bundle extras and handle big bookings. Ibis Landing includes cart and warm-up balls in its rates and lets groups of 16 or more book 8 days out by phone, a day before the public window. Its $69 after-3 pm rate for November-December 2026 is one of the lowest published group-friendly prices on the board. The city courses need every group of two or more to reserve, while singles can walk on. Eagle Lakes asks for 48 hours' notice to cancel for groups of 8 or more. Watch the hidden costs too: Ibis charges $30 for a non-playing rider, and the Fort Myers city courses no longer allow them at all.

How to pay less

  1. Play late. Twilight at the city courses, Eagle Lakes, Ibis Landing and Stoneybrook cuts 30% to 50% off the morning rate.
  2. Walk. The city courses charge $15 less to walk after 3 pm, and Coral Oaks was $55 walking against $90 riding in January 2026.
  3. Book online. Stoneybrook and Spanish Wells say their lowest rates are online, and Ibis Landing's specials are online only.
  4. Book early at dynamic-pricing courses; Spanish Wells and the Rookery both say earlier is cheaper.
  5. Play 9. Hibiscus, Coral Oaks and Shell Point all sell 9-hole rates.
  6. Buy a pass if you are staying a season; see golf passes in Naples and Fort Myers.

For every fee by season, read Naples golf rates and the public golf courses in Naples list. Budget trip planners should also see cheap hotels for Fort Myers golf and the Naples golf trip cost breakdown. For a comparison, cheap golf in Myrtle Beach works on similar twilight and shoulder tactics.
