Naples golf resorts matter more here than in most golf towns, because the best courses a visitor can reach are tied to hotel rooms. The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburon unlocks Tiburon's two Greg Norman courses, LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort unlocks LaPlaya Golf Club, and the JW Marriott Marco Island unlocks the Rookery at Marco and Hammock Bay. Resort fees run about $41 to $67 a night before parking.
This guide compares those resorts and the other big hotels in the files: which courses each opens, what the fees are, how far the first tee is, and the catch with each. Facts were checked November 3, 2026. Few resorts publish nightly rates or guest green fees, so get both in writing when you book.

Drive times are the map's free-flow estimates and ignore traffic, which in January to April can add 15-45 minutes on I-75, US 41 and the beach roads.
The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburon
The golf-first choice. The hotel sits inside Tiburon Golf Club, a membership club, and guests reserve tee times on the Gold and the Black with the room. Both are Greg Norman designs with Tad Burnett: the Gold, 7,382 yards at 76.0/137 from the back, hosts the LPGA's CME Group Tour Championship (November 19-22, 2026) and the Grant Thornton Invitational (December 11-13, 2026); the tighter Black, 6,949 yards at 74.6/147, hosts the Chubb Classic, listed for February 11-14, 2027.
The hotel has 295 rooms including 37 suites, the Reservoir lazy-river pool complex and a spa, and rooms and the lobby were renovated from May to September 2026. The $66.60 resort fee includes daily range access for two, according to Booking.com. The catches: it is not on the beach (a free shuttle runs to the sister hotel in about 15 minutes), no live nightly rate was read, and Tiburon green fees are unpublished. A third-party planning guide put them at roughly $99 in summer to $300 or more in high season. Read our Tiburon Golf Club guide or the Tiburon Gold course guide.
The Ritz-Carlton, Naples
The beach half of the Ritz pair, on Vanderbilt Beach, with the same $66.60 resort fee. Guests take the shuttle to Tiburon and book as resort guests; the research flags this as inferred from the shared shuttle rather than read on an official page, so confirm when you reserve. It suits couples where the beach comes first and golf is a few rounds.
LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort
A Gulf-front hotel on Vanderbilt Beach with 193 rooms and 8 suites, fully reopened in May 2024 after a post-Ian restoration of more than $60 million. Its golf perk is LaPlaya Golf Club, a Robert Cupp par 72 several miles inland that only hotel guests and club members can play; guests do not need a membership. The 2026 advance-purchase package gives 10% off stays of two or more nights plus a round with cart and range balls.
The catches: the $57 resort fee plus $44 valet (no self-parking) is about $100 a night before tax, the course is an 11-minute drive, and guest green fees, tees and slopes are unpublished. Read the LaPlaya Golf Club guide.
JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort
A big beach resort on Marco's main beach that owns two "resort private" courses on the mainland. The Rookery at Marco, a Robert Cupp design inside Fiddler's Creek, plays 7,170 yards at 75.4/138 from the back. Hammock Bay reopened after a $4.8 million regrassing in PlatinumTE paspalum. GolfPass says a stay is required for a tee time, and a free shuttle to the Rookery runs every half hour from 6:30am to 3:30pm by reservation. Pricing is dynamic; a resort release gave $79-179 by season, undated.
The catches: parking and the resort fee come to about $95-100 a night before tax, one report says the two courses alternate between members-only and guest days, and Marco is 45-60 minutes from the Bonita and Fort Myers courses. Read the Rookery at Marco guide or the Rookery course guide.
Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa
The best-placed full resort for a trip that mixes Naples and Fort Myers courses, on US 41 near I-75 in Bonita Springs. It has a waterpark with a 1,095-foot lazy river, a 19,000 square foot spa and a water taxi to a private beach on Big Hickory Island.
Its old course, Raptor Bay, was rebuilt as Saltleaf Golf Preserve, a public bunkerless 18 with a par-3 nine, 4 minutes away. Package sites still sell Hyatt stays with Saltleaf golf, and a 2026 group block offered 10% off published green fees, but Saltleaf's site mentions no Hyatt guest arrangement. Book "Saltleaf", not "Raptor Bay". Read the Saltleaf Golf Preserve guide or open the Saltleaf course guide.
Naples Beach Club, A Four Seasons Resort
The new Four Seasons opened on November 17, 2025 on the site of the old Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club. Tom Fazio's rebuilt course across Gulf Shore Blvd, to be called The Gardens, is 18 holes and par 70, and a September 30, 2026 travel report says it reopens in early 2027 and is not playable on a 2026 stay. The golf page lists a range, short-game area, family putting course and the Range House bar. Who may play once the course opens has not been published. For a 2026 trip it is a luxury beach hotel, not a golf base. See closed golf courses in Naples.
Resorts that do not unlock golf
- Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort & Spa: $55.50 resort fee (September 2026), no course and no perks; the island's two clubs are private.
- Naples Grande Beach Resort: its course has become private Cavu Golf Club, and resort guests are no longer eligible to play.
- The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village: $35-38 resort fee and about $25 self-parking per OTA listings. No course; Air Canada Vacations puts Cape Royal Golf Club about a mile away, and packages pair stays with Eagle Ridge and Ibis Landing.
- Sanibel resorts: Sundial Beach Resort & Spa (about 200 units, free self-parking, resort fee listings conflict) and Casa Ybel Resort have no golf perks. The Dunes Golf & Tennis Club is the island course visitors can book; guests of The Inns of Sanibel get a resort membership there during their stay. See Sanibel golf.
- Marriott Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa: no course, but on the mainland side of the causeway, so mainland courses are 10-25 minutes without the toll.
- Fort Myers Beach: Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina ($59 resort fee) and Margaritaville Beach Resort ($45 including tax, valet $35) have no golf perks, and courses are 25-45 minutes inland.

Booking tips
- Book golf with the room. At Tiburon, LaPlaya and the JW Marriott, tee times come through the stay.
- Get the guest green fee in writing. None of the three publishes one.
- Check tournament weeks. Tiburon's Gold closes for the CME and the Grant Thornton, the Black for the Chubb Classic. See Naples golf events.
- Add the fees. Resort fee plus parking runs from about $70 a night at the Hyatt to about $100 at LaPlaya and the JW Marriott, before tax.
