Duotone terrain map: 36 Holes a Day in Mesquite: Replays, Twilight Tiers and Realistic Pairings

36 holes a day in Mesquite works best at Oasis, where two 18-hole courses share one clubhouse, and at Coyote Springs, which sells a $50 replay after a full-rate morning round. Elsewhere, pair a morning round with a twilight tier at Falcon Ridge, CasaBlanca or Palms, and leave Wolf Creek as a one-round day.

Prices below were seen in October 2026 and change by date and time. Pace, season and daylight matter more than price for a 36-hole day, so this guide covers those first.

Pace sets the limit

Two rounds at Mesquite pace is a long day. The published and reported times:

Course Pace
Wolf Creek5+ hours (official)
Oasis Palmer and Canyons4 hours 30 minutes (scorecard)
Coyote SpringsAbout 4.5 hours average (official); some 2026 reviews over 5
Falcon RidgeAbout 3 hours 40 minutes (one reviewer, midweek)
Coyote WillowsTwo loops walked in just under 3.5 hours (one reviewer)

Two Oasis rounds at 4:30 each is nine hours of golf, plus lunch. That is why Wolf Creek does not belong in a 36-hole day: the club says rounds will most likely exceed five hours, and twilight groups often do not finish. Play it as the only round, in the morning. The Wolf Creek course guide has more. Start times and rates are in the Mesquite twilight golf guide.

The Oasis double

Both Oasis courses run from the same 29,000-square-foot clubhouse, so there is no drive between rounds. Play Canyons in the morning and Palmer in the afternoon: Canyons is the harder one (6,317 yards from the Blue tees, 71.0/137), with narrow targets on its back nine, and the Palmer (6,442 yards from the Black, 71.5/138) is friendlier on tired legs.

Prices are the same on both. In October 2026 the online rate was $190 before about 1 PM and $130 after; in November, $190 before noon and $130 after. December and January dates showed $155 mornings and $105 from noon, and March and April 2027 dates $210 before 2 PM and $140 after.

Watch-outs:

  • Overseed. Canyons closes two weeks before the Palmer and reopens a week earlier (Sep 2 to 30 versus Sep 14 to Oct 6 in 2026), so in parts of September and early October only one course is open.
  • Summer. Online times run only to about 12:30 PM in summer, so a 36-hole day there is not possible online.
  • Range hours. The Oasis range closes about four hours before sunset on Wednesdays and Sundays.
  • Two to a cart, with the 90-degree rule on par 4s and 5s and cart path on par 3s.

The Coyote Springs replay

Coyote Springs, about an hour southwest of Mesquite, is the only course in the area with a formal replay rate: $50 after a full-rate morning round with a 6:30 to 10:00 AM tee time. Stand-by replays usually go out around 1:30 to 2:00 PM; guaranteed replays have to be booked by phone or email. Summer replays (May 26 to Aug 31) must be off the course by 5 PM.

Morning rates on GolfNow for late October to Nov 29, 2026 were $123 to $214 with cart, most days $140 to $190. Add the $50 replay and 36 holes at Golf Digest's #11 course in Nevada runs about $173 to $264. In November, GolfNow's last regular time was about 12:30 PM, so the replay is the only way onto the course later in the day.

Because the drive is about an hour each way (Google gave 54 minutes from central Mesquite), a Coyote Springs 36 is a full day. Fill the tank in Mesquite; there is little on the way. Our Coyote Springs golf day trip guide covers the course.

Twilight tiers for the second round

Most Mesquite golf courses do not sell replays, but several step prices down through the afternoon, which works for a second 18:

  • Falcon Ridge: in October 2026, $125 from about 1:30 PM, $110 from 2:40 and $92.50 from 3:40. In winter, $95 from about 11:40 AM, $80 from 1 PM and $72.50 from 2 PM. Finishing 18 is not guaranteed. It is a shorter course (6,303 yards from the Black tees), which helps late in the day.
  • CasaBlanca: $100 from 1 PM in late October and $90 from noon from Nov 18, 2026. From about Nov 24, the online sheet had no separate twilight block.
  • Palms: $95 from about noon to 1 PM in late October ($105 on Sat Oct 24), and $76 from noon from about Nov 16. CasaBlanca and Palms are both run by Mesquite Gaming.
  • Conestoga: $145 to $203 from about 2 PM on the late-October 2026 live sheet. No twilight in winter or from Jun 22 to Aug 30.

Wolf Creek's $310 from about 1:10 PM is the exception: still close to full price, non-refundable, and you may not finish.

18 plus 9: the easier version

If 36 is too much, add nine. Coyote Willows is a regulation-length 9-hole course by the river (par 35, 2,836 yards from the Blue tees), $50 for nine with cart on every sampled date from Oct 24 to Nov 23, 2026. The website says tee times run 6 AM to noon, but the online sheet showed times from about 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM in late October and to about 2:50 PM in November. Conestoga also sells nine holes for $70 to $80 in season.

Season matters

Months 36-hole day? Why
March-AprilBestNormal highs 74.5-82.3F; peak rates and busy sheets, so book both times early
MayGood, earlyLow 90s by afternoon; rates step down
June-AugustNoHighs about 104-109F; Oasis online times end about 12:30 PM
SeptemberHardMost courses close in turn for overseed
October-NovemberBestMid-80s falling to low 70s, fresh rye; some cart-path-only days early October
December-JanuaryHardFrost delays, mid-morning starts and short days

In winter, Conestoga ran 10 AM shotgun starts from Nov 22 to Dec 31 on its 2026 rate sheet, and CasaBlanca and Palms showed a 10:00 AM block and a 3:06 PM shotgun block. With first tee times held for frost, a second 18 rarely fits. See best time to golf in Mesquite for the full calendar.

A sample 36-hole day

For a weekday in late October or November:

  1. 7:30 AM at Oasis Canyons ($190).
  2. Lunch in the Oasis Grille Room.
  3. About 1:00 PM at Oasis Palmer ($130).

That is $320 for 36 holes without moving the car. Stay at Masters Villas, 2 minutes from the Oasis clubhouse, or Virgin River, 3 minutes away, and you are back at the hotel by early evening.

Questions golfers ask

Can you play 36 holes a day in Mesquite?

Yes, in the right season and at the right courses. The easiest pairing is both Oasis courses from one clubhouse, morning on one and afternoon on the other. Coyote Springs offers a formal $50 replay after a full-rate morning round. Wolf Creek is a poor choice for a 36-hole day, because the club says rounds will most likely exceed five hours.

Do Mesquite golf courses offer replay rates?

Coyote Springs is the only course in the area with a published replay: $50 after a full-rate morning round with a 6:30 to 10:00 AM tee time. Stand-by replays usually go out around 1:30 to 2:00 PM, and guaranteed replays are booked by phone or email. The Mesquite courses use twilight rates instead.

What is the cheapest second round of the day in Mesquite?

Falcon Ridge's late tiers: $92.50 from about 3:40 PM in October 2026 and $72.50 from 2 PM in winter, with finishing not guaranteed. Coyote Willows is $50 for nine holes if you only want a few more.

When is the best time of year for 36 holes a day in Mesquite?

March, April, October and November. In summer, Oasis shows online times only until about 12:30 PM and the afternoons run 104 to 109F. In December and January, frost delays and mid-morning starts leave too little daylight.

How long does a round take in Mesquite?

Oasis recommends 4 hours 30 minutes, and Coyote Springs gives about 4.5 hours as its average. Wolf Creek says its pace will exceed five hours. One reviewer reported 3 hours 40 minutes at Falcon Ridge on a Wednesday.
