CasaBlanca and Virgin River rates are from Mesquite Gaming's official calendar (before tax; CasaBlanca's appear to include the resort fee). The Eureka's live rates couldn't be read on its official engine, so its figures are Kayak's past-year averages viewed October 11, 2026. The Holiday Inn figures are third-party only.

What three nights cost at each

A rough guide to the room bill for three midweek nights, before tax, built from the rates above. The sources differ (official calendars for CasaBlanca and Virgin River, Kayak averages for the Eureka and Holiday Inn), so treat this as a starting point, not a quote.

Hotel Basis Three nights
Virgin River$46.80 Sun-Thu, December 2026 (official, no resort fee)$140.40
CasaBlanca$102.09 Sun-Thu, December 2026 (official; appears to include the $12.99 fee)$306.27
EurekaKayak averages, $88 (Sunday) to $158 (Thursday), fees included$264-$474
Holiday Inn ResortKayak average about $148 weeknights (undated); possible $9.99 fee not includedAbout $444

Split two ways, Virgin River is about $70 per golfer for three nights and CasaBlanca about $153. The cheaper bed only wins if you don't mind the smoke and the older rooms; CasaBlanca's spa and on-site course, or the Eureka's Wolf Creek connection, are what the extra money buys.

CasaBlanca: the stay-and-play resort

CasaBlanca is the only Mesquite casino with a course on site. CasaBlanca Golf Club, the flat river course that hosts the Nevada Open, is next to the resort, and the Palms in Arizona is the sister course. Hotel guests get 20% off a Room and Golf Package booked with the Golf Package Coordinator (877-438-2929); no prices are posted. Golf groups playing CasaBlanca and/or the Palms can get a free room and golf for the group leader.

Off the course it has the most to offer: a full-service spa (day pass $35), a year-round pool, Katherine's Steakhouse, Jersey Joe's Diner, Ritas & Fajitas and a sportsbook. Rooms are being remodeled, with "All-new" Deluxe rooms and poolside Bungalows with kitchenettes. Weekend rates nearly double. The Salt Lake Express shuttle from Las Vegas airport stops here. The CasaBlanca golf package guide works through the costs.

Best for: golf groups who want to walk out to a championship course, couples who want a spa, anyone playing CasaBlanca and the Palms.

Eureka: the Wolf Creek connection

The Eureka has no course, but its official site advertises preferred access to Wolf Creek through a partnership, and its golf desk (866-582-5386) books Wolf Creek, Conestoga, both Oasis courses, Falcon Ridge, CasaBlanca, the Palms, six St. George courses and Coyote Springs. Quotes are on request.

Gregory's Mesquite Grill is rated 4.6 on Google from about 1,000 reviews (read October 23, 2026), open Wednesday to Sunday, with four private dining rooms for group dinners. The heated pool runs 8 AM to 11 PM with free cabanas, and there is coin laundry. Reviewers say the hotel wing is separate from the casino. The Eureka and Wolf Creek golf package guide explains how the partnership works.

Best for: groups built around Wolf Creek, anyone who wants one call to book many courses, steak dinners.

Virgin River: the budget base

Virgin River is the cheapest bed in Mesquite and has no resort fee. The official calendar showed $46.80 Sunday to Thursday in December 2026 and January 2027, $52.20 on Tuesday, November 10, and $48.60 to $50.40 midweek in summer 2027. Fridays and Saturdays roughly double. It is the closest casino to the Oasis courses (3 minutes) and Wolf Creek (5).

The trade-offs are real: older, motel-style rooms (book the "All-new" or "Refreshed" types), a casino reviewers call very smoky that you cross to check in, and smoking rooms still on sale, so ask for a non-smoking building and floor. In return you get two pools, three hot tubs, a bowling center and arcade, Sierra's Buffet and a café that opens at 6 AM for early tee times. Pet rooms are $20 a night, with an on-site dog park. Mesquite Gaming's room-and-golf deals apply here too.

Best for: budget buddy trips and big groups who want many identical 2-queen rooms.

Holiday Inn Resort: the non-casino alternative

The Holiday Inn Resort Mesquite reopened under the IHG flag on April 10, 2025, after being the Rising Star Sports Ranch Resort. It is non-smoking and non-gaming, 4 minutes from the Oasis courses and 6 from Wolf Creek, with 209 rooms including bunk-bed rooms, connecting rooms on request, and free parking for 260 vehicles, including RVs and trailers. IHG lists Falcon Ridge as its golf partner, but no discount or package is stated.

In fall 2026 it is mid-renovation: The Purple Sage restaurant is closed through the fall while a full-service bar and lounge is added, and the pool area is under construction but open. Rates are third-party only (Kayak averages of about $148 weeknights and $237 weekends, undated; guests in late 2025 and early 2026 paid about $105 to $139). It is a family and youth-sports hotel, so expect teams on tournament weekends. Minimum check-in age is 21.

Best for: golfers who don't want a casino, IHG members, groups with trailers.

Getting to each hotel

Most golfers fly into Las Vegas (LAS), about 90 miles and 97 minutes by the router estimate from the rental car center. Without a car, the Salt Lake Express shuttle runs from Terminal 1 to Mesquite with stops at CasaBlanca and Virgin River; on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 it had 10 departures, took 1 hour 25 minutes to CasaBlanca, and charged $33 to $41 one way. The Eureka is across the street from the Virgin River stop and the Holiday Inn about a 10 to 12-minute walk, and the in-town courses are 3 to 11 minutes from every hotel here, so a car still makes golf days easier.

Questions golfers ask

What is the best casino resort in Mesquite for golfers?

It depends on the course you want. CasaBlanca has its own course next door and a 20% room-and-golf deal with the Palms; the Eureka has a golf desk with preferred access to Wolf Creek; Virgin River is the cheapest bed with no resort fee. The Holiday Inn Resort is the pick if you want no casino at all.

Which Mesquite casino has a golf course?

Only CasaBlanca. CasaBlanca Golf Club is on the resort property, 3 minutes by road, and the same owner, Mesquite Gaming, runs the Palms Golf Club in Littlefield, Arizona, 11 minutes away. The Eureka and Virgin River have no course on site.

Do Mesquite casino hotels charge resort fees?

CasaBlanca and the Eureka charge $12.99 per night plus tax. Virgin River's official booking engine says no resort fee. For the non-casino Holiday Inn Resort, Hotels.com and Expedia list a $9.99 nightly fee that ihg.com does not mention, so verify.

Are Mesquite casinos smoky?

Nevada law lets casinos allow smoking on the gaming floor. Virgin River is the smokiest by reviews, and you cross the casino to check in; it still sells smoking rooms. CasaBlanca and the Eureka have designated smoking areas, and reviewers say the Eureka's hotel wing is separate from the casino. The Holiday Inn Resort is non-smoking and non-gaming.

What is the cheapest casino hotel in Mesquite?

Virgin River Casino & Lodge. Its official calendar showed $46.80 Sunday to Thursday in December 2026 and January 2027, and $66.60-$111.60 on Fridays and Saturdays, with no resort fee (seen October 23, 2026, before tax).

Which Mesquite casino is closest to Wolf Creek?

Virgin River, at 5 minutes and 1.5 miles by road, then the Eureka at 6 minutes and 1.6 miles. CasaBlanca is 9 minutes and 4.7 miles away. The non-casino Holiday Inn Resort is 6 minutes.

Do Mesquite casino resorts offer golf packages?

CasaBlanca offers 20% off Room and Golf through a Golf Package Coordinator (877-438-2929), and a Mesquite Gaming page says Virgin River room-and-golf starts at $89 (undated). The Eureka's golf desk (866-582-5386) quotes packages on request. None of them sells golf in its online booking engine.
