The Arroyo course
Arroyo Golf Club at Red Rock is the public half of Red Rock Country Club. Palmer and Seay laid it out as a desert course below Red Rock Canyon, and our files rate it a good Summerlin option at mid-range prices with canyon views.
What our files do not have: par, tee yardages, ratings, slopes or a street address. The club's phone is 702-258-2300. Ask the shop which tees suit your group, since we cannot give you the numbers. See the Arroyo course guide.
Note on names: listings use both "Arroyo Golf Club at Red Rock" and "Red Rock Country Club, Arroyo Course". They are the same course.
Arroyo Golf Club prices: why they disagree
| Source | Price | Date |
|---|---|---|
| Green Fee Tracker | $145 | April 15, 2026 |
| Golf Course Gurus | $45-$189 | undated |
| Golf Digest | $220 | undated |
The $145 figure is the only dated one, and it comes from April, the spring peak. The Golf Course Gurus range is wide because Las Vegas green fees move a long way by season and time of day: the season files put the highest fees in spring (March to May) and fall (October to mid-November), lower fees from December to February and the lowest from June to September. The Golf Digest figure is undated.
How to use that:
- Spring or fall: budget for peak pricing; the one dated figure, $145, is from April.
- Summer: the valley's cheapest season, but play at dawn: highs average about 99F to 105F from June to August.
- Any date: check the club's own booking engine; none of these is a quote.

Booking the Arroyo
Our files do not record the Arroyo's own booking system or window. TeeOff and GolfNow listings for the course were active in 2026, and the club answers at 702-258-2300. For a group, call: third-party sites can show a price without the group policies, and Las Vegas courses differ widely on cancellation rules. Our Las Vegas tee times guide covers how booking works across the valley.
Red Rock Country Club: the private Mountain Course
Red Rock Country Club's Mountain Course, also by Arnold Palmer, is members only. Our files name no visitor route: no hotel, reciprocal or rental-guest access. One third-party report puts full golf membership at $65,000 initiation and $1,225 a month, unverified.
So if you want to play golf at Red Rock Country Club as a visitor, the answer is the Arroyo Golf Club. For the full list of members-only courses in the valley, see private golf clubs in Las Vegas.
Where to stay near the Arroyo
| Stay | Drive to the Arroyo | Resort fee (Nov 2026, third party) |
|---|---|---|
| Red Rock Casino Resort | 4 min | $62.15 |
| Hampton Inn Red Rock/Summerlin | 9 min | none on the tracker |
| Sun City Summerlin furnished rentals | 12 min | monthly; about $1,700-$2,300 |
| JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort | 13 min | $50.85 |
| Caesars Palace (Strip) | 21 min | $62.30 |
Red Rock Casino Resort is the upscale Summerlin base for the west-side courses and Red Rock Canyon, but its resort fee is at Strip level. The Hampton Inn on S Grand Canyon Dr has no resort fee on the November 2026 tracker. No hotel in our files sells an Arroyo package, and room rates were not captured. For more on bases, see where to stay in Las Vegas for golf.
Getting there from the Strip
From the Strip at Flamingo Rd the Arroyo is 21 minutes and 11.4 miles with no traffic. From Caesars Palace it is 21 minutes, from MGM Grand 22, and from Wynn Las Vegas 24. The travel files suggest a rental car for Summerlin and the other off-Strip areas.
Overseed and season
The fairways are bermuda overseeded with rye, and the 2026 overseed dates were not captured. Most Las Vegas courses close or play temporary greens for two to three weeks between late August and October, followed by 10 to 14 days of cart path only. Check before booking. See Las Vegas golf overseed.
The weather files note that Summerlin and Red Rock courses sit higher than the airport and can be a few degrees cooler, not quantified. The season files also say higher courses get more freezing nights than the airport, which already averages about five in December, so frost delays often push back early tee times. A mid-morning winter tee time is the safe choice.
Pairing the Arroyo with west-side courses
| Course | From Red Rock Casino Resort | Price seen | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Siena | 9 min | $225.99 (GolfNow, Sep 25, 2026) | daily fee in a 55+ community; no traditional September overseed |
| TPC Las Vegas | 7 min | about $175 weekday / $195 weekend before noon; about $100 / $120 afternoon | 2026 third-party, approximate |
| Angel Park Mountain | 8 min | not published | Palmer course plus the lit Cloud Nine short course |
Siena is the useful partner in September: it skips the traditional overseed (2026 aerification was August 24-25). See the Siena course guide. For the full west side, read Summerlin golf courses.
Red Rock Canyon and the rest of the day
The Arroyo's setting is the draw, and the canyon itself makes a good non-golf half day. Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area has a 13-mile one-way scenic drive and hikes in red sandstone, about 25 minutes from Summerlin. Timed-entry reservations have been required in the busy season in recent years; that was not checked for 2026-27, so look before you go.
For food after a round on the west side:
- Honey Salt, 1031 S Rampart Blvd, a neighbourhood American restaurant near Angel Park; relaxed for lunch or dinner.
- Lazy Dog, 1725 Festival Plaza Dr in Downtown Summerlin, a casual chain with a patio and TVs that handles big groups.
A two-day west-side plan could be the Arroyo Golf Club in the morning and the canyon drive in the afternoon, then TPC Las Vegas or Siena the next day. More ideas in things to do in Las Vegas.
Who the Arroyo suits
