Map of the courses in this guide: Palm Springs golf courses: every course you can actually book

Palm Springs golf courses open to visitors number 48 on our map, from Mission Lakes in Desert Hot Springs to Terra Lago in Indio, counting par-3 and executive courses. Six more public-access courses sit off the map in Beaumont and Borrego Springs. Another 51 clubs on the map are private, and a handful of old courses have closed.

This guide lists every bookable course by area, then the ones you cannot book, so a group does not plan a round at a club that will turn it away. Fees were seen in October and early November 2026 and change by season, day and hour, so treat them as a guide, not a quote.

Quick facts

  • Open to visitors: 48 courses and rotations on the map, plus 6 off it.
  • Private: 51 clubs on the map, most of them in La Quinta, Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage and Indian Wells.

  • Fall overseed: nearly every course closes for a few weeks between mid-September and December.
  • Distances: free-flow drive times from downtown Palm Springs (Palm Canyon Dr at Tahquitz Canyon Way), no traffic.
