Riverview golf course Bullhead City guide: the RV resort par 3 and who can play

The Riverview golf course in Bullhead City is a nine-hole, par-27 course of 1,160 yards inside Riverview RV Resort, a gated 55+ community. Despite the gate, it is open to the public: it sold GolfNow tee times for late October and early November 2026 at $10 to $13. You do not need to stay in the resort to play.

Who can play the Riverview golf course in Bullhead City

This is the question most people have, because the course is inside a gated, guard-attended 55+ resort. Older research turned up mixed signals: Bullhead City's golf page called it public, while a community directory said resort facilities were for residents and guests only.

The October 2026 evidence settles it for now:

• GolfNow sold public "Hot Deals" tee times for Wednesday October 28 (12:40 PM), Friday October 30, Saturday October 31, Sunday November 1, Monday November 2 and Tuesday November 3, 2026.
• The GolfPass FAQ says the course is "open to the public."
• Played-date reviews on GolfPass from October 12, 13, 17 and 18, 2026 call it "Best value" and praise the staff.

So Riverview welcomes outside golfers, and staying in the resort is not required. The course is still mostly a resident amenity, which makes it a winter-stay perk more than a trip destination. If you are driving over in peak season, a call to the pro shop at 928-763-9707 costs nothing.

How the course plays

Nine par 3s average about 129 yards a hole, set among palms and water hazards inside the resort. Greens and fairways are bermuda, according to GolfPass. The research gives it a 1 out of 5 for difficulty.

At 1,160 yards it suits beginners, short-game practice and a quick nine on a day off from full rounds.

Riverview golf course Bullhead City fees

Riverview does not publish a rack rate. What was seen in October 2026:

GolfNow's price display lacked decimals, so the research reads it as about $10.99 to $13.99 in total. Even at the top of that range, it is the lowest fee seen at any course on the map. Prices change; confirm before you go. The cheap golf in Laughlin guide lists other low-cost rounds.

Overseed and the season

The Arizona Golf Association's 2026 Overseeding Schedule listed Riverview as closed from September 14 to October 12, 2026. By the middle of October it had reviews and public tee times again.

The course runs year-round otherwise. Like the rest of the river, January to March is the winter-visitor peak, and May to September brings heat of about 95F in May rising to about 110F in July at Laughlin. Wintering at Riverview RV Resort

Riverview RV Resort is an owner-lot community, not a reservation park. Here is what the research found:

• Size: about 698 lots, built in 1987 (MHVillage).
• Age rule: 55+ gated and guard-attended, per lot-sale listings.
• How to stay: buy a lot, or rent one from an owner. No rental office or published rates were found.
• RV rules: lot-sale listings say RVs must be 20 years old or newer and at least 26 feet, or a park model or destination trailer.
• Amenities: the course, a clubhouse, an unheated pool (per MHVillage) and pickleball for residents. One lot listing says HOA dues include water and basic cable.

Getting there

Riverview runs on Arizona time, with no daylight saving. From November 1, 2026 to March 14, 2027, Arizona is one hour ahead of Laughlin: 9:00 AM at Riverview is 8:00 AM on Casino Drive. Riverview is the short end of a Bullhead City golf week. Chaparral, the city-run nine played as a par-60 loop, is the next step up, though it is closed for reseeding through November 10, 2026. Laughlin Ranch is the full test at 7,155 yards and a 143 slope.
