The courses for cheap golf in Laughlin

Riverview. A 1,160-yard par-3 nine inside a 55+ RV resort in Bullhead City, about 10 minutes from the Laughlin bridge. Non-residents can play; GolfNow sold public tee times at $10-$13 plus a $0.99 booking fee for Oct 28 to Nov 3, 2026. Carts were listed at $10. October 2026 reviews praise the value.

Chaparral. Bullhead City's original course, a short 9-holer played as a par-60 loop, now owned and run by the city. No rate card is published; an undated listing showed $65 for two with cart. It is closed for reseeding until Nov 10, 2026.

Los Lagos. A long Ted Robinson desert course in Fort Mohave. The club says call 928-768-7778 for seasonal rates, and GolfPass shows "from $30.99" without a date. The clubhouse and pro shop were closed for fire repairs in summer and fall 2026, and you should ask whether both nines are open.

El Rio. A 7,143-yard Matt Dye course in Mohave Valley, run by locals since 2015. It was $45 with cart in August 2026; winter rates are not published. Reviews rate conditions as fair, and it has dropped off GolfNow, so call 928-768-3574.

The Riverview course guide and Los Lagos course guide have tees and booking details.

Tactic 1: play in summer, at dawn

Laughlin Ranch is the one course here with a full seasonal table, and Mojave Resort's summer rates are reported to drop sharply because of the heat. Laughlin Ranch's 2027 non-resident table runs:

Laughlin Ranch band Mon-Thu Fri-Sun
Feb 22-Apr 11 and Sep 21-Nov 19$159$169
Nov 20-Jan 31$137$147
Feb 1-21$147$157
Apr 12-May 23$150$162
May 24-Jun 20$104$124
Jun 21-Jul 11$90$97
Jul 12-Sep 20$80$87

The catch is heat: NOAA normals give highs of about 106F in June and 110F in July. Book the first tee time, ride a cart and carry far more water. Some courses shorten hours: Los Lagos plays 5 am to noon from June to early September, and Huukan closes from June 1 until its overseed is done, about October 1. See Laughlin summer golf.

Tactic 2: play midweek

Laughlin Ranch is $7 to $20 cheaper Monday to Thursday in every band. Casino rooms follow the same pattern: aggregator data put Laughlin weeknights at about $55 and weekends at about $93. A Sunday-to-Thursday trip saves on both. The Laughlin Ranch course guide has every band.

Tactic 3: twilight and late rounds

Lake Havasu Golf Club cuts its public rate after 3 PM to $50 on the West and $48 on the Desert East, though in midwinter that leaves only about two and a half hours of light. Emerald Canyon charged $59 from 1 PM and $40 for nine after 2 PM in winter 2025-26. Laughlin Ranch publishes no twilight rate.

Tactic 4: deals and booking timing

  • GolfNow Hot Deals: Riverview and Iron Wolf both showed deep deals in October 2026 ($10-$13 and $33.26).
  • Laughlin Ranch app: Daily Deals text alerts and a tee time waitlist.
  • Book Emerald Canyon within 7 days: $80 against $90 further out in winter 2025-26.

Tactic 5: local rates, cards and passes

  • Laughlin Ranch local rate: $95-$105 in winter and peak (about $50 below the visitor rate) and $50-$60 in midsummer, with proof of a local ZIP code. Snowbirds with an area address should ask whether it qualifies.
  • Lake Havasu VIP Discount Card: $209 ($189 in September), saving $15-$19 on a morning round.
  • Rivers Edge passes: $285 a month walking, $425 with cart and range, $1,200 for three months with cart.

Tactic 6: ask your hotel

The Avi says guests get reduced rates at Mojave Resort, the Avi KOA mentions discounted green fees there, and the Aquarius tells guests to ask about discounts at six courses. None publishes an amount, so ask when you book. Laughlin golf packages explains the bundles.

A budget golf week, priced

Using only prices seen in the files, here is what a cheap four-round week near Laughlin could look like for one golfer in late summer, when the rates are lowest:

Round Price seen
Laughlin Ranch, Monday, Jul 12-Sep 20 band$80
El Rio with cart (August 2026)$45
Riverview par-3 nine, GolfNow deal$10-$13 + $0.99
Cerbat Cliffs with cart, GolfNow deal (August 2026)$50
TotalAbout $186-$189

The same four rounds in March would cost far more, starting with $159 at Laughlin Ranch alone. Winter rates for El Rio and Cerbat Cliffs are not published, so ring for them.

What cheap costs you

Cheap golf in Laughlin comes with trade-offs, and the course records are frank about them. El Rio's conditions are only fair in reviews, with thin fairways while the overseed fills in. Los Lagos has patchy reviews after 2025 storm damage. Riverview and Chaparral are short nines, not full courses. And the cheapest months are the hottest, with July lows near 82F, so even dawn is warm. If you want Laughlin Ranch in good condition at a lower price, the Nov 20 to Jan 31 midweek rate of $137 is the middle ground.

Cheap beds to match

The Laughlin River Lodge reported no resort fee, and a July 2026 review quoted a $55.99 average midweek rate at the New Pioneer. RV travellers reported $27 a night at Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort RV Park in October 2025. For a day trip, Cerbat Cliffs in Kingman showed a $50 deal with cart in August 2026.
