What a Laughlin golf trip costs: value and splurge budgets

A Laughlin golf trip cost per golfer runs from roughly $230 for three midweek nights sharing a room with two cheap or mid-priced rounds, to $500 or more for a weekend built around Laughlin Ranch. Rooms are cheap, especially Sunday to Thursday; resort fees and green fees are where the money goes. These figures use rates seen in October 2026.

Laughlin is one of the cheaper golf-and-casino trips in the West, but not every course publishes its prices, so building a budget takes a little work. This guide lists every price in our research, shows two sample budgets with the arithmetic, and points out where you will need to phone a course for a quote. All prices change, and dynamic pricing at some courses can push them higher on busy dates.

Green fees: what each course charges

Laughlin Ranch figures come from the table labelled 2027 on its rates page; tax is extra. Lake Havasu Golf Club's rates page does not say whether a cart is included. The Laughlin golf rates guide breaks these down by season.

Mojave Resort and Huukan, the two courses run by Mojave Golf, publish no 2026-27 rates; call 702-535-4653 for Mojave Resort. Budget a placeholder for them until you have a quote.

Rooms and resort fees

Laughlin's casino hotels price by day of week more than by season. Aggregator data seen in October 2026 (Kayak) put weeknights at about $55 and weekend nights at about $93, and sample midweek Expedia rates at the Edgewater and Aquarius were around $44 to $45 a night before tax. Friday and Saturday nights, holiday weekends and event weekends run much higher.

Resort fees are the hidden cost. In 2026 booking listings they were about $27 at the Riverside, $25.86 at Harrah's, $25.88 at the Aquarius, $19.11 to $22.49 at the Golden Nugget and $17.98 to $21.36 at the Tropicana. Midweek, the fee can be more than half the room rate. The Avi Resort & Casino and the Laughlin River Lodge reported no resort fee, so their prices are closer to what you pay.

Packages: worth asking about

Laughlin Ranch sells Stay & Play packages through several casino hotels, and the Avi says its guests get reduced rates at Mojave Resort. None publishes a price. The one priced example in our research is a GolfTroop listing for four golfers in double rooms, Sunday to Thursday at the Riverside, three rounds at Laughlin Ranch: $107 to $299 per person per night by dates, valid through 12/31/26 on request. Laughlin golf trip cost: two sample budgets

Both budgets assume two golfers sharing a room, prices seen in October 2026, and exclude food, fuel, flights and tax.

The value column uses a no-resort-fee hotel such as the Laughlin River Lodge at the aggregator weeknight average. The splurge column uses Harrah's resort fee on the weekend average. Real room rates at a given hotel and date will differ.

The gap is mostly golf and weekends. Moving the splurge trip to Monday to Wednesday cuts $10 per Laughlin Ranch round and roughly $38 a night on the room, before resort fees.

Ways to cut the cost

• Play midweek. Laughlin Ranch is $7 to $20 cheaper Monday to Thursday in every band ($10 in the winter and peak bands), and rooms are far cheaper Sunday to Thursday.
• Pick a no-resort-fee hotel if you do not need casino amenities.
• Use twilight at Havasu. Both Lake Havasu Golf Club courses drop to about $48 to $50 after 3 PM, though in mid-winter that leaves about two and a half hours of light.
• Book Emerald Canyon inside 7 days. In 2025-26 that meant $80 rather than $90.
• Watch Laughlin Ranch's app. It sends Daily Deals text alerts and has a tee-time waitlist.
• Ask about local rates if you stay a while: Laughlin Ranch charges local residents $95 to $105 in winter and spring with proof of a local ZIP code.

Summer: the cheapest trip, with a catch

Summer is the value season. Laughlin Ranch's lowest band is $80 Monday to Thursday and $87 Friday to Sunday from July 12 to September 20, El Rio was $45 with cart in August 2026, and casino hotels stay cheap except on holiday weekends. The catch is heat: Laughlin's normal highs are 105.5F in June and 109.8F in July, so golf is a first-light activity. Huukan closes from June 1 until its overseed is complete, about October 1, and Los Lagos runs only from 5 am to noon in summer. See Laughlin summer golf before you book.

Staying longer: a winter month

Snowbirds should price a month, not a round. Rivers Edge in Needles sells a 3-month pass with cart and range for $1,200 and a monthly pass for $425. Lake Havasu Golf Club's seasonal memberships run from $1,125 for one month to $2,525 for three months, individual. For lodging, Vista Del Sol RV Resort in Bullhead City listed $1,061 a month for a standard site in January to March 2027. The winter golf passes guide covers the details.

Getting there

Travel is outside both budgets because it depends on where you start. Most visitors fly into Las Vegas and drive about 99 miles to Laughlin, a 2 hour 19 minute free-flow estimate. Sample cheapest nonstop round trips to Las Vegas shown on Google Flights in October 2026 included $265 from Vancouver and Edmonton in late January and $386 from Calgary in mid-December.
