Los Lagos Golf Club is a public 18-hole, par-72 desert course in Fort Mohave, Arizona, designed by Ted Robinson Sr. and opened in 2007. It plays 6,921 yards from the back tees. It was taking tee times in October 2026, but a 2025 storm and a 2026 clubhouse fire mean you should ask about conditions and services before booking.

Los Lagos is a long course for this valley. From the Blue tees it plays 6,921 yards with a 73.2 rating and a 126 slope. The White tees play 6,570 yards and the Gold 5,863.

The layout
Los Lagos is a desert course carved from the valley terrain, with mountain views and four tee sets. It sits in Fort Mohave, south of Bullhead City, reached via Highway 95. Directory listings describe a full practice facility with a driving range.
It is one of the longer tests on the Arizona side of the river. On that side, only El Rio in Mohave Valley (7,143 yards) and Laughlin Ranch in Bullhead City (7,155 yards) go longer from the back, while Huukan Golf Club nearby plays 6,444.
The storm repairs: what changed
The short version: Los Lagos was damaged in a 2025 storm, played as a partial course for a stretch, and appears to be back to 18 holes, but no one has confirmed that in writing.
- May 6, 2025: a GolfNow notice reported storm damage.
- After that: undated follow-up notices said the back nine had reopened while the front nine stayed closed.
- October 2026: the GolfNow course page lists 18 holes, par 72 and 6,921 yards with no storm or closed-nine notice. GolfPass reviews from September 1-26 and October 26, 2026 do not mention a closed nine.
No explicit "front nine reopened" announcement was found. The full-18 status rests on the 18-hole listing and the absence of any notice. When you book, ask whether both nines are open.
Conditions have been uneven for a while. Greenskeeper reviews from May 2024 described declining conditions. Treat Los Lagos as a budget round and set expectations to match.
The clubhouse fire
A separate problem hit the building. Reviews from July 2, 2026 report no pro shop "due to recent fire and remodeling," and a September 24, 2026 review said the clubhouse was closed. The course kept running through this.
What it means for you: pro shop items and food may not be available. Call 928-768-7778 to check what is running on your day.
Los Lagos Golf Club rates
Los Lagos does not publish a rate card. The club site asks golfers to call 928-768-7778 for seasonal rates. GolfPass showed rounds "from $30.99" when read in October 2026, without a date for that price.
If that figure holds, it is one of the cheaper 18-hole options on the river, but confirm the price, whether a cart is included and any winter-visitor deal before you go. For comparison, Laughlin Ranch charges $137-$169 for non-residents with a cart from November to April on its 2027 table. Hours by season
Los Lagos publishes three sets of hours, subject to change:
- Fall (September 24 to December 31): 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Winter (January 1 to May 31): 6 AM to 6 PM.
- Summer (June 1 to September 9): 5 AM to noon.
Summer play ends at noon, which makes sense when Laughlin's normal high is about 106F in June and 110F in July.
Overseed and the best months
The Go Lake Havasu directory lists Los Lagos as closed September 10-23 every year for overseeding. A 2020 review said only the tees were overseeded, not the fairways, so the course may play firmer and browner in winter than fully overseeded neighbours. That is not confirmed for 2026.
November is a strong month: mid-70s highs at Laughlin and the overseed has grown in. January to March is the winter-visitor peak, when morning tee times go first. See Laughlin golf overseed for every course's closure window.

Los Lagos runs on Arizona time, with no daylight saving. From November 1, 2026 to March 14, 2027, Arizona is one hour ahead of Laughlin: 9:00 AM at Los Lagos is 8:00 AM on Casino Drive. Getting there and where to stay
Los Lagos is about 39 minutes and 20.7 miles from the Laughlin-Bullhead City Bridge. The closest stays on the map are:

From the Avi, Mojave Resort Golf Club is next door and Huukan and El Rio are about 14 minutes away, so a south-end base puts Mojave Resort, Huukan, El Rio and Los Lagos all within 25 minutes.
Pairing Los Lagos with nearby courses
Los Lagos Golf Club fits a Fort Mohave day or a south-end rotation. Huukan, the former Desert Lakes, is a flat, gentler round. El Rio is longer and was cheap in summer at about $45 with a cart. Mojave Resort is the Nevada-side course by the Avi, on Pacific time.

Yes. GolfNow showed a bookable tee time for October 28, 2026, and the course is listed as 18 holes, par 72, 6,921 yards, with no storm or closed-nine notice. The club site listed a weekly Ladies League through November 26, 2026.
Are both nines open at Los Lagos after the storm?
Probably, but no one has said so in writing. A May 2025 storm closed part of the course, and later notices said the back nine had reopened while the front stayed shut. No front-nine reopening announcement was found, but reviews from September and October 2026 do not mention a closed nine. Ask when you book.
