Angel Park Golf Club: the Mountain and Palm courses, Cloud Nine night golf and resident rates

Angel Park Golf Club is a public Arcis Golf facility on the Summerlin edge with two Arnold Palmer 18s, the Mountain and the Palm, plus Cloud Nine, a 12-hole short course with nine holes lit for night golf. It sits at nearly 3,000 feet, 18 to 19 minutes from the Strip, and Nevada residents get resident rates.

Angel Park Golf Club: Mountain vs Palm

Our files are thin on the courses themselves: no par, yardage or slope for either. The useful differences are the overseed timing and the views. The Mountain is the one described with Strip views; the Palm's 2026 overseed came early, in late August.

Cloud Nine and the Divine Nine

The extra that sets Angel Park Golf Club apart is Cloud Nine, a 12-hole walkable short course with holes modelled on famous par 3s. Nine of the holes are lit for evening play. Next to it, the Divine Nine is a lit natural-grass putting course.

When it fits a trip:

• Arrival night: land, check in, and hit wedges under the lights.
• After dinner: a group session without a full round.
• Mixed groups: non-golfers or beginners can play a short course with the group.

Cloud Nine has public, Arcis cardholder and resident rates, but the amounts were not listed on the page read. In winter, sunset in Las Vegas is about 4:27 to 5:22 p.m., so the lights matter from November to February.

Booking and resident rates

Angel Park books through Quick18. The rules on record:

• Visitors: the public Quick18 sheet.
• Nevada residents: resident rates with valid ID, booked through the separate resident card site.
• Arcis Card holders: discounts.

Angel Park Golf Club overseed

Both courses are bermuda overseeded with rye. In 2026:

• Palm: closed August 24 to September 4, then cart path only to September 19 (GolfZoo listing).
• Mountain: dates not published.

The Palm's 2026 window was earlier than the mid-September to late-October window often quoted for Las Vegas, so do not assume. If you are booking late August to early October, call to confirm which course is open and whether carts are on paths. More in Las Vegas golf overseed.

When to play

Angel Park is at nearly 3,000 feet, and the weather files note that Summerlin courses sit higher than the airport and can run a few degrees cooler, not quantified. In practice:

• Winter (December to February): airport highs about 57F to 63F, and frost delays often push back early tee times, more so on higher courses. Book mid-morning and use Cloud Nine's lights after dark.
• Spring and fall: peak golf and the highest green fees valley-wide.
• Summer: highs about 99F to 105F; dawn tee times and the lowest rates.

Getting to Angel Park from the Strip

Angel Park Golf Club is one of the easier Summerlin courses to reach from a Strip hotel. Drive times to the Mountain course with no traffic:

The travel files suggest a rental car for Summerlin and the other off-Strip areas; for a Strip group, a car on golf days only is a common pattern. Cloud Nine at night is the exception worth planning for: if the group wants a night session, someone has to drive back after dark or the group needs a ride both ways.

Where to stay near Angel Park

The JW Marriott, on Rampart Blvd, is the closest, and the hotel files name Angel Park as its nearest public course. Room rates were not captured, and none of these hotels sells an Angel Park package. For snowbirds, the Sun City Summerlin listings seen ran about $1,700 to $2,300 a month furnished, in a 55+ community with HOA renter rules.

Pairing Angel Park with nearby courses

A Summerlin weekend could be TPC Las Vegas in the afternoon on day one, Angel Park Golf Club the next morning, and Cloud Nine under the lights that night. Golf Galaxy, a golf retailer at 8621 W Charleston Blvd, is near Angel Park if someone needs balls or a glove.

Who Angel Park suits

• Groups wanting 36 holes in one place: Mountain and Palm share the clubhouse.
• Mixed groups: Cloud Nine gives beginners and short-game players something to do at night.
• Nevada residents and Arcis Card holders: resident and card pricing.
• Strip-based groups: about 20 minutes each way, less than most west-side courses.
