The Raven Golf Club at Sandestin is a 2000 Robert Trent Jones Jr. course in Miramar Beach, open to the public at $159 a round in 2026 from spring to fall, or $130 for Sandestin resort and Hilton Sandestin guests. From November 2 the rates drop to $109 and $95. It is the best of Sandestin's three public courses.

Spring, summer and fall are the same price. The course's own site, sandestinraven.com, still showed an older undated table ($95-$136 public, $86-$121 resort) in October 2026, so go by sandestin.com. GolfNow also resells Raven times; listings showed about $123-$173 in July 2026 and $132-$134 in September 2026. No twilight rate was published.
Who gets the resort rate
The public pays the higher rate. The lower rate goes to guests of Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort lodging and of the Hilton Sandestin, and to holders of a Sandestin Amenity Card.
The saving is $29 a round from spring to fall and $14 in winter. On a three-round trip with two Raven rounds, a foursome saves over $200 between them. Note that privately managed Sandestin condos rented through outside agents may not include the resort-guest rate, so ask.
Hotel Effie Sandestin says its resort fee includes Sandestin golf discounts; ask which tier you get. Hyatt Place Sandestin on Grand Boulevard is about 7 minutes away by road but is not a Sandestin property, so its guests pay public rates. Burnt Pine members get member rates at the Raven (amount not published).
How to book the Raven
- Online: the course site's tee-time engine (GolfNow-powered) shows the next 45 days.
- Resort guests: up to six months ahead.
- Public and club members: up to 14 days ahead.
- Stay-and-play packages and groups: up to 13 months ahead. The Raven is in the Premium package (4+ nights, all four courses).

The tee figures come from Chronogolf and GolfPass rather than the USGA database, which blocked access; GolfPass lists the Gold tee at 5,060 yards.
The layout
The designer calls the Raven "a true modern traditional": a parkland resort course through pines and wetlands, inland from Baytowne Wharf rather than on the water. The 7th, a 631-yard par 5, is the longest hole. The greens are TifEagle bermuda.
The slopes say it plays firmly from the back two sets: 137 from the Raven tees and 135 from the Silver tees, only 570 yards shorter. Most visiting men will score better from the White tees (5,891, 128). The Gold tee gives women a 5,106-yard option at 127.
Conditions are the one caution. GolfPass reviewers in late summer 2026 complained of slow, bumpy greens; October reviews were better. No damage from Hurricane Isaias was reported for the Raven, though it was not confirmed either way.
Aeration and winter conditions
The Raven closed for aeration May 4-11, 2026 and for a week in August (August 10-16 is listed; the August 3-9 row is missing from the table). Avoid the recovery weeks after them unless price matters more than putting. Unlike Baytowne and The Links, the Raven lists no November overseed closure. When is the Raven closed for aeration?
In 2026 it closed May 4-11 and for a week in August (August 10-16 is listed). The two weeks after each closure, May 12-24 and August 17-30, were $89 for everyone, with greens still recovering. No overseed closure is listed for the Raven.
How far is the Raven from Destin?
About 24 minutes and 12 miles from Destin Harbor in free-flow traffic, and about 6 minutes from the Sandestin Welcome Center. Summer traffic on US 98 can double the drive from Destin.
