Map of the courses in this guide: A Biloxi golf trip itinerary: four days, four courses, one casino base

The best Biloxi golf trip itinerary for four days is a Sunday-to-Thursday stay at Beau Rivage with Sunkist on arrival day, Fallen Oak on day two, The Preserve on day three and Windance on the way out. That gives you the coast's best course, its most polished resort round and two strong public 18s, all within about 41 minutes of downtown.

This plan is built from the course and hotel records on our map, with green fees seen in October 2026. Rates change by season and day, so treat the numbers as a guide and confirm before you book. A second, cheaper Biloxi golf trip itinerary on the west end of the coast follows the main plan.

Quick facts

  • Base: Beau Rivage, the only way onto Fallen Oak.
  • Courses: Sunkist, Fallen Oak, The Preserve, Windance.
  • Best nights: Sunday to Thursday. Friday and Saturday casino rooms cost noticeably more.
  • Airport: Gulfport-Biloxi (GPT), about 27 minutes from the casinos.
  • Time zone: Central Time.
  • Best months: March to May and October to November.

Day 1: land at GPT and play Sunkist

Fly into Gulfport-Biloxi, pick up a car (Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz and National have counters at the airport) and check in. Our guide to flying into Gulfport-Biloxi has the routes.

Sunkist Country Club is the easy first round. It is the closest full-length course to the casinos that the public can book online, about 19 minutes from Beau Rivage. It is short and flat, 6,232 yards from the Blue tees with a 125 slope, and has six rated sets down to 3,867 yards.

The public rate was $79 Monday to Thursday and $89 Friday to Sunday on the 2026 card, with a cart. From about 2 PM it drops to $59 weekday or $69 weekend, and late-October light still allows 18 holes. Book on the club's foreUP sheet, which showed times at least 13 days out.

Dinner: walk from the hotel to Mary Mahoney's Old French House or Half Shell Oyster House downtown, both a short walk from Beau Rivage.

Day 2: Fallen Oak

Fallen Oak is the reason to stay at Beau Rivage. The Tom Fazio course in Saucier is open only to Beau Rivage guests, with no public tee sheet. You book the round through the resort with the room, and the resort runs transport to the course.

What to expect: 7,487 yards and a 142 slope from the tips, with a forward set at 5,362 yards. It sits on rolling ground in pines and live oaks, with wide fairways, big greens and few other golfers. It hosted the PGA Tour Champions event for years; that event has not been played since 2022, and the current event there is the Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational (October 17-19 in 2026).

The price is not published. Older stay-and-play packages were quoted from $180 per person, double occupancy, and the resort's "1 night, 1 round" packages for two were listed as bookable through 12/31/26 on request. Ask for the golf package when you book the room, and ask how far ahead you can set the tee time. Our Fallen Oak tee time guide and Beau Rivage golf guide cover the booking in detail.

Dinner: BR Prime at Beau Rivage is the usual group steakhouse pick.

Day 3: The Preserve in Vancleave

The Preserve Golf Club is a Jerry Pate course on protected wetlands and pine savanna, owned by Palace Casino Resort and open to anyone. It is about 27 minutes from Beau Rivage.

It is priced like a resort round, but the rate includes tax, cart, GPS, range balls, water and bag service. The 2026 rate page showed:

  • Fall (Sep 1 - Nov 15, 2026): $175 Tuesday and Wednesday, $225 Thursday to Sunday, $150 after 3 PM.
  • Winter (Nov 16, 2026 - Feb 14, 2027): $175, $150 after 3 PM.
  • Spring peak (Feb 16 - May 17, 2026): $250, $150 after 3 PM.
  • Same-day replay: $100 for 18, $75 for nine.

Put this round on a Tuesday or Wednesday in the fall to save $50. There is a 48-hour cancellation policy. Read our Preserve course guide for the layout.

Dinner: stop in downtown Ocean Springs, about 22 minutes from The Preserve on the way back toward Biloxi. Vestige (a chef's-choice tasting menu, book well ahead) and Desi Vega Steakhouse are both there.

Day 4: Windance on the way out

Windance Country Club in Gulfport is a semi-private Mark McCumber course that sells public tee times up to 14 days out on its own site. Recent reviews rate it the best-conditioned public-access course in Gulfport. It is firm and pine-lined, 6,708 yards and a 139 slope from the Blue tees.

The 2026 rack rate was $110 for 18 with a cart from March to June and September to November, and $90 in December to February and July to August. From 2 PM it was $85 on the late-October sheet. Avoid June 1-4 and August 3-6, the published aerification closures.

Windance is about 40 minutes from Beau Rivage, which puts it on the Gulfport side, closer to GPT. Check out early, play a morning round, and eat at the clubhouse restaurant and bar before your flight. The Windance course guide has the tees and rates.

Swaps if a course does not fit

  • Cheaper day 4: Shell Landing in Gautier is a Davis Love III course about 25 minutes from Beau Rivage that usually costs well under the casino courses. Rates are not posted online, so call 228-497-5683.
  • Warm-up or second round: Bayou Vista, the Gulfport city course that used to be Tramark, was $28 with a cart, the cheapest 18 on the coast.
  • Tougher test: The Oaks in Pass Christian runs 7,006 yards with a 140 slope from the Gold tees, $99 weekday or $109 weekend, and late-day times from about 4 PM at $39-$49.

A west-end Biloxi golf trip itinerary

If Fallen Oak is not the point, the west end of the coast gives you more golf for less. Base at Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast in Bay St. Louis, two minutes from The Bridges.

Day Course Drive from Hollywood Casino Price seen (Oct 2026)
1The Bridges Golf Club2 minHotel Golf Package from $119 with unlimited golf that day
2Diamondhead Cardinal and Pine (36 holes)25 min$115 rack, about $70-$107 on the online sheet; $35 replay
3Pass Christian Isles17 min$52 Mon-Sat, $36 Sunday or from 3:30 PM
4The Oaks32 min$99 weekday, $59 from 2 PM

The Bridges is an Arnold Palmer marsh course with more than 21 bridges and a 144 slope from the tips. It is closed every Tuesday, so do not start this plan on a Tuesday. The Club at Diamondhead Cardinal and Pine share a clubhouse, so a 36-hole day is easy. Ask the shop which course is in play on your date. Pass Christian Isles is a 1914 Tom Bendelow course with small greens and a 7-day booking window.

The hotel's best available rate on Tuesday, November 10, 2026 was $63.98 including the resort fee, against $213.98 on Saturday, November 14. That gap is the whole argument for a midweek trip. Our guide to Bay St. Louis golf covers this cluster.

When to take this trip

March to May is peak spring golf, with beach highs from about 69F to 83F and green fees at their seasonal high. October is the driest month, with highs near 79F, and November cools to about 69F. Summer is cheapest but hot, with afternoon storms on 9 to 14 days a month. Hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30.

Steer clear of Cruisin' the Coast, the first full week of October, the biggest hotel week of the year. Our guide to the best time to golf in Biloxi has the full calendar, and where to stay in Biloxi for golf compares other bases. Questions golfers ask

What is a good 4-day Biloxi golf trip itinerary?

Stay at Beau Rivage and play Sunkist on arrival day, Fallen Oak on day two, The Preserve in Vancleave on day three and Windance in Gulfport on the way to the airport. All four are within about 41 minutes of downtown Biloxi on our router.

Do I have to stay at Beau Rivage to play Fallen Oak?

Yes. Fallen Oak is open only to Beau Rivage guests, and the round is booked through the resort with the room. The resort runs transport to the course, which is about 28-29 minutes from the hotel by road.

Which days of the week are best for a Biloxi golf trip?

Sunday to Thursday. Casino hotel rates jump on Friday and Saturday nights, and some course rates are higher on weekends too. The Preserve charged $175 on Tuesday and Wednesday in fall 2026 against $225 Thursday to Sunday.

How far apart are the Biloxi golf courses?

From downtown Biloxi, Sunkist is about 20 minutes, Shell Landing 25, The Preserve 28, Fallen Oak 29, Windance 41 and The Bridges about 56. The courses spread from Bay St. Louis to Gautier and inland to Saucier and Vancleave, so a rental car is close to essential.

Is there a cheaper Biloxi golf itinerary without Fallen Oak?

Yes. Base at Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast in Bay St. Louis and play The Bridges, both Diamondhead courses and The Oaks or Pass Christian Isles. The hotel Golf Package started from $119 with a night and unlimited golf at The Bridges that day, seen October 2026.

Central Time. Biloxi, Gulfport, New Orleans and Mobile are all on Central Time, so tee times and flight times line up.

When is the best time of year for this itinerary?

March to May and October to November are the two golf high seasons. Avoid the first full week of October, when Cruisin' the Coast fills hotels from Bay St. Louis to Pascagoula.
