Temperatures are rounded normals for the Biloxi beachfront station. Inland at the Saucier courses, days are a degree or two warmer in spring and nights are cooler. Our Biloxi weather by month guide goes deeper on the numbers.

Spring: March to May

Spring is the coast's main golf season. Highs climb from about 69F in March to 83F in May, and green fees reach their seasonal high. Windance charges its $110 peak rate from March, and The Preserve charges $250 for morning rounds from February 16 to May 17, 2026, against $175 to $225 the rest of the year. The Bridges runs its top rack rate, $119 weekday and $129 weekend, from February 14 to May 31.

Crowds come in on weekends. College spring breaks and Easter (March 28, 2027) add demand, and the Crawfish Music Festival at the Coliseum fills nearby hotels on its April weekend. March and April are also the windiest months, at about 8 mph on average at the airport. Book weekend tee times and rooms early; weekdays are easier and cheaper. Our Biloxi golf in spring guide covers what to book first, and our The Preserve course guide has its full seasonal rate card.

Summer: June to September

Summer is hot and humid, with highs of about 87-90F, nights of 72-75F and afternoon storms on 9 to 14 days a month. July is the wettest month at about 8.1 inches. It is beach and fishing season: the Billfish Classic in June and the Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo on the July 4 weekend fill hotels, but golf is in its low-rate season.

Windance drops to $90 in July and August, and The Preserve is $175 from May 18 to August 31. Many bermuda courses aerify greens in June to August; Windance closes June 1-4 and August 3-6. Tee off at dawn. Hurricane season opens June 1, and the Atlantic peak is around September 10. Read Biloxi summer golf and hurricane season Biloxi golf before you book.

Fall: October and November

October is the pick of the year on weather: the driest month, about 3.7 inches of rain on 6.5 days, with highs near 79F and lows near 62F. November cools to about 69F afternoons with crisp mornings. Fall is the second high season, so peak rates return: Windance $110, The Oaks $99 weekday and $109 weekend, The Bridges $99 and $109. Our Windance course guide lists its peak and non-peak months.

Two events matter. Cruisin' the Coast, the first full week of October (October 4-11 in 2026), is the biggest hotel week of the year; skip it or book very early. The Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival fills Ocean Springs and the east end on its November weekend (November 7-8 in 2026). The Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational runs in October at Fallen Oak, and guest tee times may be limited that week, though that is not confirmed. Hurricane season ends November 30. See our Cruisin' the Coast golf guide.

Winter: December to February

Winter is the value season. Beach highs run about 60-63F with lows of 44-47F, and it is the cheapest time for both golf and casino rooms outside holiday weeks and Mardi Gras weekends. Windance is $90, The Oaks showed $89 weekday mornings, The Preserve is $175 from November 16 and The Bridges drops to $89 weekday and $99 weekend from December 1.

The trade-off is turf. Most coast courses are bermudagrass, and courses that do not overseed go dormant and tan but stay playable from about December to March. Nights inland at Fallen Oak and Grand Bear run about 3F colder than the beach, so expect some frost delays. Mardi Gras parades run from late January; Fat Tuesday is February 9, 2027. Our guide to winter golf in Mississippi covers snowbird stays.

Weeks and conditions to avoid

  • Cruisin' the Coast week in early October: rooms sell out coast-wide and US 90 crawls.
  • Mardi Gras parade weekends in late January and February: parades close US 90 and downtown streets, and hotels fill on the final weekend.
  • Aerification weeks in summer: Windance closes June 1-4 and August 3-6, and many courses aerify between June and August.
  • The Peter Anderson festival weekend in November if you are staying in Ocean Springs.
  • Tuesdays at The Bridges, which is closed every Tuesday all year.
  • Saturday nights at the casino hotels if price matters: Saturday is typically the most expensive night of the week.

Best time to golf in Biloxi by trip type

  • Best weather, any price: early to mid October after Cruisin' the Coast, or April midweek.
  • Best value: January or early December midweek. Pair winter green fees with Sunday to Thursday rooms.
  • Buddies trip with casino nights: late October or November weekdays, or March before spring break weekends.
  • Fallen Oak trip: any month outside the October college event week; book with your Beau Rivage room.
  • Cheapest golf, heat no object: July or August at dawn.

Whatever the month, Friday and Saturday nights cost noticeably more at the casino hotels, and a midweek trip is the usual value play.
