Weekend tee times and casino rooms fill first during spring break and Easter, so book them early and play weekdays where you can.

The Preserve dates are its 2026 season; the 2027 spring dates had not been published when we checked. The Bridges' spring dates come from the Hollywood Casino golf page as recorded in our hotel research, and its own TeeItUp sheet had not loaded spring 2027 rates yet. The Oaks rates are the live online prices for March and April 2027, which may still be adjusted.
Courses without seasonal tiers become relative bargains in spring. Diamondhead's $115 rack rate is the same in April as in January, and its online sheet often runs lower. Our Windance course guide and The Oaks course guide have the full detail.
Spring break, Easter and other busy weekends
Spring weekends on the coast are busier than weekdays, though less so than on Florida and Alabama beaches:
- College spring breaks run through March and April. Biloxi's 2026 spring break crowds were lighter than usual.
- Easter is March 28, 2027, early in the season.
- An unofficial April beach weekend has drawn large crowds in past years, but attendance declined again in 2026, with events moved to private clubs in Gulfport.
- Crawfish Music Festival fills the Mississippi Coast Coliseum on US 90 in west Biloxi for three days in April (April 17-19 in 2026; 2027 dates not set).
- Blessing of the Fleet and Shrimp Festival is a one-day east Biloxi festival with little effect on hotels; in 2026 it was May 31.
- Memorial Day weekend (May 31, 2027) starts the beach season.
Expect higher weekend room rates and more traffic on US 90 on those weekends. When we checked in October 2026, Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast Saturday nights in February and March were already showing $243 to $513, against midweek winter nights of $63.98.
What to book early for a spring trip
- Your room, if Fallen Oak is on the list. Fallen Oak is open only to guests of Beau Rivage, and the tee time is booked with the room. Ask for the golf package when you reserve.
- The Oaks. Its public window is 365 days, so a group can hold spring Saturday times now.
- Weekend casino rooms. Friday and Saturday nights cost noticeably more than Sunday to Thursday, and event weekends override even that pattern.
- A stay-and-play. Hollywood Casino's Golf Package (from $119, unlimited golf for one at The Bridges) and Palace Casino's packages with The Preserve bundle the round with the room.
- The 14-day courses on day one. Set a reminder for the day Windance, Diamondhead and The Bridges open your dates.
For every window course by course, see Biloxi tee times. Stay-and-play deals are compared in Biloxi golf packages.
How to save in peak season
- Play weekdays. Sunkist, The Oaks and The Bridges charge $10 less Monday to Thursday, and rooms are cheaper too.
- Go late in the day. Twilight saves $25 at Windance and $100 at The Preserve.
- Choose flat-rate courses. Diamondhead, Sunkist, Pass Christian Isles and Bayou Vista keep the same price all year.
- Aim for late May. The Preserve's $175 summer rate starts May 18, a $75 saving on morning rounds.
More savings are in cheap golf on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and weekday vs weekend Biloxi hotels.
A sample spring week
Arrive Sunday and stay to Thursday so the rooms stay at weekday rates. Play The Oaks on Monday, booked months ahead. Take The Bridges on Wednesday, since it is closed on Tuesday, and stay at Hollywood Casino on a golf package if the price works. Play Windance or Diamondhead on Thursday morning, and if Fallen Oak is the point of the trip, move the stay to Beau Rivage for those nights. Add a twilight round at Sunkist on arrival day if the flight lands early.
Off the course in spring
Spring is a good season for the rest of the trip. The Ship Island ferry from Gulfport ran its first 2026 season from March 14 to May 15, for a beach and the Civil War-era fort on West Ship Island. Downtown Ocean Springs and Old Town Bay St. Louis make easy evenings after golf. See things to do in Biloxi, and the best time to golf in Biloxi for how spring compares with fall. Questions golfers ask
Is spring a good time to golf in Biloxi?
It is the coast's main golf season. Normal highs climb from about 69F in March to 76F in April and 83F in May, and rain is moderate. The trade-offs are the year's highest green fees, the windiest weeks and busy weekends.
How much are green fees in Biloxi in spring?
As published in October 2026, The Preserve charged $250 for morning rounds from February 16 to May 17, 2026, Windance $110 from March, The Oaks $99 weekday and $109 weekend for March and April 2027, and The Bridges $119 weekday and $129 weekend from February 14 to May 31. Rates change, so check before booking.
When is spring break in Biloxi?
College spring breaks fall in March and April, and Easter is March 28, 2027. Biloxi spring break crowds in 2026 were lighter than usual, and the effect on golf is smaller than on Florida or Alabama beaches, but weekend rates still rise.
How far ahead should I book spring golf in Biloxi?
The Oaks opens its public tee sheet 365 days ahead, so spring 2027 times are bookable now. Windance, Diamondhead and The Bridges open about 14 days ahead, and Pass Christian Isles 7 days. Book weekend rooms first, since casino hotels fill and spike on Saturdays.
Is it windy in Biloxi in spring?
Yes. March and April are the windiest months, averaging about 8.1 and 8.3 mph at Gulfport-Biloxi airport. The inland Saucier courses, Fallen Oak and Grand Bear, are more sheltered from the breeze off the Sound.
Is May cheaper than April for golf in Biloxi?
Partly. The Preserve's summer rate of $175 starts May 18, and The Bridges' spring rack rate runs to May 31. Windance keeps its $110 peak rate through June. Late May is also when humidity builds and highs reach the low 80s.
