Green-fee ranges: Cheap golf on the Mississippi Gulf Coast: the lowest green fees, season by season

Cheap golf on the Mississippi Gulf Coast starts at $11 to walk nine and $28 for 18 with a cart at Bayou Vista in Gulfport. After that, the best value comes from late tee times: $36 at Pass Christian Isles, $39 to $49 at The Oaks after about 4 PM and $59 to $69 at Sunkist after 2 PM, all seen in October 2026.

This guide sorts every lower-cost round we could confirm in the research: the cheapest courses, twilight and late-day rates, cheap days of the week, loyalty cards and the casino packages that bundle golf with a room. Prices were seen in October 2026 and rates change, so check the course before you go. Where a course does not post its prices, we say so.

Quick facts

Bayou Vista: the cheapest 18 on the coast

Bayou Vista is Gulfport's city-owned course, the one locals still know as Tramark. Its rate is flat all year: $28 for 18 with a cart, $18 to walk 18 and $11 to walk nine. Active or retired military pay $23 with a cart. It sits about 26 minutes from downtown Biloxi.

Set your expectations. It plays only 5,727 yards from the back tees with a slope of 118, and reviewers praise the value and staff but say conditioning can be uneven. It works best as a warm-up round or a cheap second round after a big course. Book on Teesnap: tee times are needed even for walkers on busy days. Our Bayou Vista golf course guide has the full detail.

Twilight and late-day rates

The single easiest way to pay less on the coast is to tee off after lunch. These are the late-day prices on the live tee sheets in late October 2026:

  • The Oaks steps down twice: $59 weekday and $69 weekend from about 2 PM, then $39 and $49 from about 4 PM. For a 7,006-yard course that is the standout value on the coast. See our The Oaks course guide.
  • Sunkist drops by $20 from about 2 PM, to $59 Monday to Thursday and $69 Friday to Sunday. It is the closest full-length course to the Biloxi casinos that the public can book online, about 20 minutes away.
  • Windance goes from $110 to $85 from 2 PM. Nine holes are $55 in peak season and $45 in non-peak, and a same-day replay is $45 or $25.
  • The Bridges saves $34 a player from 2 PM: $65 weekday and $75 weekend instead of $99 to $109.
  • Diamondhead posts $75 after 2:30 PM at rack, but its online public sheet ran lower. Walking is allowed only after 2:30 PM.

Cheap days and booking tricks

  • Sunday at Pass Christian Isles: $36 all day, cheaper than a weekday morning ($52). The club books visitors only seven days ahead, and Saturday mornings can be blocked for club events.
  • Book online, not at the counter, at Diamondhead. On Oct 26, 2026 a 12:36 PM time cost about $89 all-in against $95 rack. Our Diamondhead Cardinal course guide covers both courses there, including the Diamondhead Pine.
  • GolfNow Hot Deals. Windance Hot Deals for Oct 17-27, 2026 ran about $59 to $110, and The Bridges showed about $48 to $81 for August to October 2026. Hot Deals are prepaid; at Windance they are refundable only if you cancel 24 or more hours ahead.
  • Weekdays beat weekends. Sunkist, The Oaks and The Bridges all charge $10 more on weekends.

Golf packages that undercut green fees

Two casino packages can cost less than paying for a room and a round separately:

  • Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast sells a Golf Package from $119: one night, unlimited golf for one that day at The Bridges and a $20 food credit. A Double Golf Package starts at $169 per person for two golfers. The Bridges is closed on Tuesdays, so plan around it. Hollywood Casino midweek rooms in December and January were mostly $63.98 with the resort fee.
  • Island View Casino Resort sells an Unlimited Golf package at Windance from $99: one night, unlimited golf with cart and range balls, buffet trips, a drink and $10 slot play, double occupancy, tax extra. Island View is about 27 minutes from Windance.

Cheap golf on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, season by season

December to February (winter)

The cheapest stretch for golf and casino rooms outside holiday weeks and Mardi Gras weekends. Windance is $90 instead of $110, The Oaks showed $89 weekday mornings, and The Bridges rack rate falls to $89 weekday and $99 weekend from December 1 to February 13 (per the Hollywood Casino golf page). Bermuda that is not overseeded goes dormant and tan but stays playable. See winter golf in Mississippi.

March to May (peak spring)

Green fees hit their seasonal high. Windance is $110, The Oaks $99 weekday and $109 weekend in March and April, and The Bridges $119 and $129 from February 14 to May 31. This is when twilight and Bayou Vista matter most.

June to September (summer)

Hot and humid, with highs around 88-90F. Windance returns to $90 in July and August, and The Oaks showed $89 for June 2027. Windance closes for aerification June 1-4 and August 3-6. Tee off at dawn. Our Biloxi summer golf guide covers the heat and storms.

October and November (peak fall)

Peak rates return: Windance $110, The Oaks $99 and $109, The Bridges $99 and $109. Avoid Cruisin' the Coast week in early October, the hardest hotel week of the year.

Other low-cost options

  • Bay Breeze on Keesler AFB has twilight golf from 1 PM Monday to Thursday and all day Tuesday and Thursday: $24 to $29 for military and DoD, $32 for guests, cart included. Civilians need a same-day Visitors Center background check on a weekday.
  • Millbrook in Picayune, off the map to the north, showed $55 weekday and $65 weekend at the top end. It is about 87 minutes from Biloxi, so it only makes sense from the Bay St. Louis side or New Orleans.
  • Shell Landing in Gautier is often called the value pick on the east side, but its rates are not posted online. Call 228-497-5683 for current prices.
