Delta, American Eagle and United Express connect it through Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston, and Breeze and Sun Country add a few leisure routes. GPT is about 27 minutes from the Biloxi casinos and about 20 minutes from Windance and The Oaks. Rent a car at the terminal.

Casino charter flights
The airport lists two casino charter programs: MGMAir, tied to Beau Rivage, and Caesars Rewards Air, tied to Harrah's Gulf Coast. Getting from GPT to the casinos and courses
The airport is in Gulfport, at the western middle of the coast, which makes it handy for both ends. The Hilton Garden Inn Gulfport Airport, just south of I-10 and US 49 by the terminal, is a good stand-in for drive times from the airport:

Rental cars, rideshare and shuttles
Rental cars. Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz and National have counters at GPT, and Nifty Car Rental is off-site. The travel research calls a car close to essential: the courses spread about 60 miles from Bay St. Louis to Pascagoula and 20 to 35 minutes inland to Saucier and Vancleave.
Rideshare and taxis. Uber and Lyft pick up at a designated curb, and the airport lists about a dozen taxi and limousine companies. Rideshare may not be able to enter military bases such as Keesler.
Shuttles. The airport lists only hotel courtesy vans for the Hilton Garden Inn, Holiday Inn Gulfport Airport and Clarion Inn. No casino shuttle schedule is published; ask your casino hotel. Beau Rivage arranges transport between the hotel and Fallen Oak for its golf guests, which is separate from airport transfers.
Roads. I-10 runs east-west 5 to 8 miles inland. US 49 runs from Gulfport north to Saucier for Fallen Oak and Grand Bear. US 90 runs along the beach past every casino and is slow with lights.
A night by the airport
The Hilton Garden Inn Gulfport Airport works the opposite way to the casinos: it is a business hotel, so weekdays cost more. On Tuesday Nov 10, 2026 a king was $138, and on Saturday Nov 21, 2026 it was $88, before tax (seen October 2026; typical, not a quote). That makes it a cheap Saturday night for a late arrival. Free-flow drive times to Beau Rivage and downtown Gulfport. MSY had 12.5 million passengers in 2025 and service from American, Delta, United, Southwest, Alaska, JetBlue, Frontier, Breeze, Allegiant and Sun Country. A nonstop to New Orleans can beat a connection to GPT, at the cost of a two-hour drive on I-10.
Mobile's airlines plan to move to the new downtown terminal (BFM), with officials targeting early 2027 and no firm date. It would be about 74 minutes from Biloxi.

Which base suits a GPT arrival
Because the airport sits in Gulfport, a Gulfport base keeps the first and last days short. Island View Casino Resort on the Gulfport beach owns Windance and sells an Unlimited Golf package from $99: one night in a deluxe room, unlimited golf at Windance with cart and range balls, buffet trips, a drink and $10 slot play, double occupancy and tax extra (seen October 2026). Tips for golfers flying in
- Golf bags: check your airline's sports-equipment rules; a connection through Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas or Houston means two flights for the bag.
