Who can play Quail Creek golf in Green Valley
There are three groups:
- Residents of the Quail Creek community, who buy memberships or pay resident rates.

- Non-residents, who can book daily rounds at the non-resident rate with a cart included.
The 2026 fine print says the restaurant and golf courses are currently open to the public, and that management can open or close the course to the public at its discretion. New golfers register at the pro shop for the Chelsea tee-time system. No online booking for non-residents and no booking window were found, so call the shop.
Members' guests get resident rates when riding in a member's cart.

When renting in Quail Creek pays off
For Quail Creek golf in Green Valley, the renter rate saves $46 on a prime-season 18 against the non-resident rate, but the cart is extra. If you ride, a renter pays $84 plus a $27 seat, or $111, against $130 for a non-resident: a $19 saving per round, plus tax on both.
Memberships change the math for a long stay. At the renter rate of $84, the $4,120 single Platinum annual covers its cost after about 49 rounds of 18, before carts. The Silver 40-play at $1,380 works out to $34.50 per play. Whether a "play" is 9 or 18 holes for Silver was not stated; Gold is described as 9-hole plays. Ask the shop for the exact terms before buying.
The hard part is finding a rental. There is no central rental office: homes are rented by private owners through VRBO, Expedia, Airbnb or local agents. Listings seen on October 26, 2026 included a furnished 3-bedroom rented monthly May to October only, and a 2-bedroom asking for offers on a seasonal fee with a golf cart and bikes included. No winter monthly price was captured. Confirm in writing that renter golf rates and the recreation card come with the lease. The course
Quail Creek has three nines, Quail, Coyote and Road Runner, played as three 18-hole combinations, all par 72. From the Black tees, per an aggregator listing:
| Combination | Yards |
|---|---|
| Coyote / Road Runner | 6,965 |
| Quail / Coyote | 6,911 |
| Road Runner / Quail | 6,808 |
Listings also mention a separate resident 9-hole course. The club opened in 1989. There is a driving range, putting green and practice bunker, and soft spikes are required according to one listing. USGA ratings and the designer were not found.
Robson fee sheets say the course closes for a period in the fall for overseeding, then runs three weeks of cart-path-only. The 2026 dates were not published, so call before an October round. See Tucson golf overseed.
Quail Creek vs the public Green Valley courses
Our take is blunt: Quail Creek's non-resident rate is the highest in Green Valley. The public courses on the west side cost far less on the listings we saw: Torres Blancas ran $18.99 to $24.99 with cart on GolfNow in September 2026, Haven $44.99 with cart for October 18, 2026, and San Ignacio mostly $51 to $72 for late October 2026.
So Quail Creek golf in Green Valley makes most sense if you rent inside the community and play it often. As a one-off visitor, you are paying for the 27 holes, not for value. Our Green Valley AZ golf guide compares every course in the area.
