Courses
- Arizona National Golf Club, Tucson: semi-private, 18 holes, par 71, 6606 yards, rating 71.4 / slope 137. Strong RTJ Jr. desert course in the northeast foothills, open to the public. A good mid-priced alternative to the resorts.
- Canoa Ranch Golf Club, Green Valley: public, 18 holes, par 71, 6701 yards, rating 71.6 / slope 143. The newest of the Green Valley public courses, a Schmidt-Curley desert layout with bent greens and mountain views. A good pick for a better-conditioned round at the south end of town.
- Country Club of Green Valley, Green Valley: private, 18 holes. Private member club. Not open to visitors.
- Crooked Tree Golf Course, Tucson: public, 18 holes, par 72, 7065 yards, rating 72.2 / slope 132, green fees seen $28–$63. A solid public 18 in the northwest at mid-range prices. One of the few nearby courses taking times through overseed in late October 2026.
- Dell Urich Golf Course, Tucson: public, 18 holes, par 70, 6629 yards, rating 70.3 / slope 124, green fees seen $50–$50. The easier of the two Randolph courses. Fine for a quick, cheap round in midtown.
- Desert Hills Golf Club of Green Valley, Green Valley: private, 18 holes. A member-owned private club. Not open to visitors.
- El Conquistador Golf Club - Cañada Course, Oro Valley: public, 18 holes, par 72, 6649 yards, rating 71.7 / slope 133, green fees seen $56–$56. The second El Con 18. Call or check GolfNow in fall, since it was not taking times on Oct 27, 2026.
- El Conquistador Golf Club - Conquistador Course, Oro Valley: public, 18 holes, par 71, 6758 yards, rating 72.2 / slope 129, green fees seen $46–$85. Town-run value under the Catalinas. This was the course taking tee times in late October 2026. Expect resort scenery at municipal prices.
- El Rio Golf Course, Tucson: public, 18 holes, par 70, 6436 yards, rating 69.4 / slope 124, green fees seen $28–$32. A traditional city course with old trees, close to downtown. Cheap and quick to get to. Not a resort-level round.
- Forty Niner Country Club, Tucson: semi-private, 18 holes, par 72, 6669 yards, rating 70.5 / slope 127, green fees seen $21–$47. An older, unpretentious Bell layout on the far east side that takes public play. It is cheap in the off-season. It is a sensible pick for east-side snowbirds who want a regular game rather than a showpiece.
- Fred Enke Golf Course, Tucson: public, 18 holes, par 72, 6809 yards, rating 71.3 / slope 135. Desert target golf at a muni price on the east side. The most interesting of the city courses.
- Haven Golf Course, Green Valley: public, 18 holes, par 72, 6905 yards, rating 71.2 / slope 124, green fees seen $22–$44. Green Valley's oldest course, flat and walkable with big greens and modest slope. A good everyday choice for snowbirds who want to walk, and cheap outside winter.
- La Paloma Country Club, Tucson: private, 27 holes. Private, but the Westin La Paloma has been the way in for visitors. Confirm guest golf when booking the room.
- MountainView Golf Club at SaddleBrooke Two, SaddleBrooke: semi-private, 18 holes, par 72, 6738 yards, rating 71.2 / slope 134, green fees seen $78–$78. Recently redone Panks course in SaddleBrooke Two. Public access looks possible but limited. Phone first.
- Omni Tucson National - Catalina Course, Tucson: resort, 18 holes, par 73, 7262 yards, rating 75.4 / slope 136. Tucson National is the old tour course, a full resort in the northwest suburbs. Catalina is the longer and more traditional of its two 18s. Check for overseed closures before booking a late-October trip.
- Omni Tucson National - Sonoran Course, Tucson: resort, 18 holes, par 70, 6529 yards, rating 70.9 / slope 130. Shorter par-70 desert course at Tucson National. Easier on the card than Catalina, but the bunkering keeps it honest. Pair it with Catalina on a stay-and-play.
- Oro Valley Country Club, Oro Valley: private, 18 holes. Private. You can only play it with a member.
- Quail Creek Country Club, Sahuarita: semi-private, 27 holes, par 72, green fees seen $37–$130. A 27-hole Robson community club east of I-19 that visitors can play at a steep non-resident rate. It makes most sense if you rent inside Quail Creek and get resident pricing.
- Quarry Pines Golf Club, Marana: public, 18 holes, par 71, 6482 yards, rating 70.0 / slope 130, green fees seen $23–$34. Cheap, short public course in Marana. Pace can drag. Fine for a budget round, not a destination.
- Randolph North Golf Course, Tucson: public, 18 holes, par 72, 6902 yards, rating 72.0 / slope 127, green fees seen $40–$62. Tucson's historic midtown muni: flat, long and cheap. Good value for snowbirds, but not a destination round.
- SaddleBrooke Country Club (SaddleBrooke One), SaddleBrooke: semi-private, 18 holes, par 72, 6513 yards, rating 70.8 / slope 130. The original SaddleBrooke community golf. It is mainly for residents and renters on monthly memberships. Visitors should call first.
- San Ignacio Golf Club, Green Valley: semi-private, 18 holes, par 72, 6772 yards, rating 71.6 / slope 135, green fees seen $27–$72. An Arthur Hills desert course on the west side of Green Valley, open to the public with an online tee sheet. Expect about $50-$70 in late fall; summer and prepaid deals run far lower.
- Sewailo Golf Club, Tucson: resort, 18 holes, par 72, 7283 yards, rating 73.5 / slope 138, green fees seen $100–$100. The best-conditioned public course on Tucson's south side and the one with real length. It is a modern Begay design next to Casino Del Sol with dynamic pricing. Check the tee sheet for the day's rate rather than relying on a rack rate.
- Silverbell Golf Course, Tucson: public, 18 holes, par 70, 6936 yards, rating 72.2 / slope 123, green fees seen $29–$29. Long, flat and open west-side muni. Solid value, nothing fancy.

- The Gallery Golf Club - North Course, Marana: private, 18 holes, par 72, 7384 yards. Private. You can only play it with a member.
- The Gallery Golf Club - South Course, Marana: private, 18 holes, par 72, 7468 yards. Private. You can only play it with a member.
- The Golf Club at Dove Mountain, Marana: guests-only, 27 holes, par 108, 7849 yards, rating 77.1 / slope 147, green fees seen $250–$360. The Nicklaus 27 at the Ritz-Carlton. You can only play it as a hotel guest or with a member, and it is among the priciest rounds in the area. Book it if you are staying at the resort. Otherwise it is off the table.
- The Highlands at Dove Mountain, Marana: semi-private, 18 holes, par 72, 6904 yards, rating 72.1 / slope 139, green fees seen $39–$47. Community course in the Dove Mountain foothills that takes public times through GolfNow at low summer prices. Cheaper than its Dove Mountain neighbours.
- The Preserve Golf Club at SaddleBrooke, SaddleBrooke: semi-private, 18 holes, par 72, 6926 yards, rating 72.3 / slope 137. SaddleBrooke Two course with limited outside access. Call before counting on it.

- The Views Golf Club at Oro Valley, Oro Valley: semi-private, 18 holes, 6687 yards, rating 72.2 / slope 133. The Sun City Oro Valley course, open to daily-fee players. Snowbirds renting in Rancho Vistoso can treat it as a home course.
- Torres Blancas Golf Club, Green Valley: public, 18 holes, par 72, 7111 yards, rating 72.6 / slope 130, green fees seen $18–$24. A low-cost public Trevino layout in the middle of Green Valley, with lakes and big greens. Rates float with demand, and summer times on GolfNow have run under $25 with a cart.
- Tubac Golf Resort & Spa, Tubac: resort, 18 holes, par 72, 6870 yards, rating 71.8 / slope 130, green fees seen $42–$55. The one true golf resort south of Tucson, with old-school mesquite-lined nines and the Tin Cup hole. Only 18 holes are open until the Anza nine returns in early 2027.
- Tucson Country Club, Tucson: private, 18 holes. Private east-central club. Not open to visitors.
- Ventana Canyon Canyon Course, Tucson: resort, 18 holes, par 72, 6836 yards, rating 72.1 / slope 137. The second Ventana Fazio course, with a strong finishing hole by the hotel. The same resort-rotation rule applies.
- Ventana Canyon Mountain Course, Tucson: resort, 18 holes, par 72, 6898 yards, rating 72.9 / slope 141. Fazio desert golf with the photo-op par 3. Worth it if you stay at Loews or the Lodge.
- Voyager RV Resort Golf Course, Tucson: resort, 9 holes, par 27, 1003 yards. A par-3 nine for Voyager RV Resort guests, handy for a quick walk with a wedge and putter. It is not a reason to choose the resort and not a destination for visiting golfers.
