Orlando golf in November is close to ideal: the driest month of the year, about 78F by day, shoulder green fees and the end of hurricane season on November 30. The catch is overseeding. In 2026 Disney's Palm is closed November 9-27, Oak Trail November 9-12 and Magnolia December 1-18, so check closures before you book.

Orlando golf in November: the overseed calendar

Orlando courses are bermudagrass, and unlike South Florida, a noticeable number of resort and high-end daily-fee courses here overseed fairways and roughs with ryegrass in the fall, so they stay green through the January-February frosts when dormant bermuda turns tan. Overseeding means closures of a few days to about three weeks, mostly from late October to mid-December. Here is what the course records show for fall 2026:

Disney's courses take each other's overflow: book Magnolia during Palm's closure and Palm or Lake Buena Vista during Magnolia's. City courses publish maintenance days rather than overseed dates: Winter Park Golf Course closes on Monday, November 9 and Monday, December 7, and Winter Park Pines on November 16 and December 14.

Fall weather: October and November

NOAA 1991-2020 normals at Orlando International. October is the transition: courses come back from summer projects and some begin overseeding, and Hurricane Milton crossed central Florida on October 9-10, 2024. By November the air is drier and play is comfortable all day, which is the main appeal of Orlando golf in November. Clocks go back on November 1, 2026, so afternoon light runs out earlier. • Orlando City Amateur: Dubsdread hosts it in early November, so check the course calendar before booking that weekend.
• Thanksgiving, November 26, 2026: one of the busiest and most expensive park weeks; tee sheets are busy on holiday mornings with visiting family groups.

Streamsong in the fall

Streamsong runs part-day closures on weekdays in October and November: Red is closed from 11 am on Tuesdays (October 1-November 30), Blue from 11 am on Mondays and Black from 11 am on Wednesdays. How to plan a November golf trip

A few simple rules make Orlando golf in November easy:

• Check the closure list first. If Disney golf is the point of the trip, avoid November 9-27 for Palm and December 1-18 for Magnolia, or plan to play whichever is open. The Magnolia course guide covers the big course.
• Pick a week away from Thanksgiving for lower room rates and quieter parks.
• Lock in shoulder rates. January brings peak pricing at Providence ($129 before noon) and at Disney from January 8.
