Disney's courses take public bookings 90 days out on the same rates as Disney hotel guests, and the files hold no dollar 18-hole rates, only seasonal discounts. The 9-hole Oak Trail is a walking course for families. Our Magnolia course guide covers the longest of them, and Disney World golf courses covers all four.

Closer to Universal, MetroWest is about 16 minutes from downtown and the short Grande Vista course was from $30.99 on GolfNow for November 5, 2026.

Kissimmee, Celebration, ChampionsGate and Davenport

South of Disney, the US-192 and I-4 corridor holds the vacation-home courses:

The Orange Lake Legends and Reserve are resort courses for Orange Lake owners and guests first; no public tee times showed up in GolfNow searches in November 2026.

Winter Garden, Clermont and Lake County

West of Disney, Orange County National is the anchor: two public 18s, Panther Lake and Crooked Cat, a $15 walking nine and a lodge. See the Orange County National guide. Nearby, Stoneybrook West rates 74.8/135 from 7,101 yards and posted $49 with cart for August 2026 mornings, and Forest Lake in Ocoee runs 7,221 yards.

Around Clermont: Clermont National (from $69.99), Legends (from $45), Green Valley ($29 twilight), the two Kings Ridge courses and Swiss Fairways. Farther north, Mission Resort & Club has two 18s open to the public, and Black Bear, a P.B. Dye course at 7,041 yards, sits outside Eustis.

Winter Park, Seminole County and east Orlando

Courses only resort guests can play

Six records on the map are open only to guests of one resort:

Private Orlando golf courses

Ten clubs on the map are private, and visitors play them only as a member's guest: Isleworth, Lake Nona Golf & Country Club, Interlachen (74.6/145 from 7,213 yards), the Country Club of Orlando, Orange Tree, Bella Collina, Alaqua, Heathrow, the Legacy Club at Alaqua Lakes and Tuscawilla. The Golden Bear Club at Keene's Pointe is not on the map: our research could not verify it, so its status is unclear and you should call first. More in private golf clubs in Orlando.

Closed and changed courses

Old listings still show several Orlando golf courses that are gone:

  • Hunter's Creek: closed; the land was offered at auction in November 2026.
  • EastWood: owners announced its closure for August 2020 for a housing subdivision.
  • Kissimmee Golf Club: closed in 2018.
  • Errol Estate in Apopka: defunct; the land was sold in July 2025.
  • Grand Cypress North, South and East nines: closed in November 2019 and rebuilt by Nicklaus as the Cypress Course at Evermore.

Closed golf courses in Orlando covers the rest and what to play instead. Naples has a similar list; compare it in Naples golf courses.

Booking and timing

January to April is peak season, with the highest fees. Windows vary: 90 days at Disney, 60 days for non-guests at Grand Cypress, about four months at Grande Lakes, 14 days at Mayfair and 3 days for the public at the Winter Park nine. June to September is cheapest but brings afternoon storms. Read Orlando tee times and the best time to golf in Orlando.

Which Orlando golf courses are closest to downtown?

Dubsdread in College Park is about 9 minutes from downtown Orlando, the Winter Park nine about 14, and Winter Park Pines and Rio Pinar about 15. These are free-flow drive estimates with no traffic, and I-4 often adds 15 to 45 minutes at busy times.

Can I play Bay Hill or Reunion without staying there?

Plan on staying. Bay Hill's golf page says its courses are for members and guests staying at the Lodge. Reunion's three courses are for members, Reunion Resort guests and guests of partner vacation-home managers; some third-party inventory appeared in September 2026, so ask the resort about off-peak days.

What is the hardest public course near Orlando by slope?

From the files, the Waldorf Astoria Golf Club rates 74.5/145 from 7,104 yards and Disney's Magnolia 76.6/142 from 7,505. Shingle Creek is 74.3/137 and Stoneybrook West 74.8/135. Several strong courses, such as Southern Dunes and the OCN pair, have no rating in our files.

Are Orlando golf courses closed in November?

Some close for overseeding. In fall 2026 Disney's Palm was closed November 9-27, Magnolia closes December 1-18 and Oak Trail closed November 9-12. Disney's Lake Buena Vista course reopens November 9, 2026 after a rebuild, and the Grande Lakes course reopened November 1 after regrassing.

What is the cheapest full-size course near Orlando?

GolfNow showed Fairways Country Club from $20.99 and Sweetwater from $25 for November 5, 2026. Royal St. Cloud publishes $34 to $36 after 4:30 pm for November and December 2026, and Green Valley in Clermont charges $29 after 3 pm and all day Tuesdays. Rates change daily.

Which famous Orlando courses are private?

Isleworth, Lake Nona Golf & Country Club, Interlachen, the Country Club of Orlando, Bella Collina and Alaqua are private, and visitors play them only as a member's guest. The Golden Bear Club at Keene's Pointe could not be verified in our research, so its status is unclear.
