North Naples golf is mostly private, but it holds the area's best-known course a visitor can play: Tiburón, Greg Norman's two courses at The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón, open to guests of the two Ritz-Carltons. LaPlaya Golf Club is for LaPlaya guests, and ArrowHead is the public course anyone can book. The private clubs run from Pelican Bay to Mediterra.

Tiburón: the Ritz-Carlton's two Norman courses
Tiburón Golf Club is a membership club wrapped around The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón. Hotel guests reserve tee times with the room, and guests of the sister beach hotel, The Ritz-Carlton, Naples, about 6 miles away, ride a free shuttle and book as resort guests. GolfNow and TeeOff pages exist, but whether non-guests can book in season was not confirmed, and GolfPass lists a resort stay as required.
Both courses are Greg Norman designs, with Tad Burnett, and both are wide and flat with no rough: crushed-coquina waste areas, coquina-wall bunkers and lakes.
- Gold (1998): the big one at 7,382 yards and 76.0/137, forgiving off the tee but punishing in the coquina. It is the tournament course for the CME Group Tour Championship and the Grant Thornton Invitational. See the Tiburón Gold course guide.
- Black (2001): shorter but tighter, 74.6/147 from 6,949 yards, with family tees at 3,975 yards. Reviewers rate it higher and harder, and it hosts the Chubb Classic.
Fees are dynamic and not published. The hotel resort fee includes daily range access for two, and one 2026 group block was $209-269 a night plus tax and resort fee. LaPlaya Golf Club
LaPlaya Golf Club is a Robert Cupp course in the Palm River neighbourhood off Immokalee Road, about 4 miles inland from LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort on Vanderbilt Beach. It is open only to the resort's hotel guests and to club members; guests do not need a membership. Tee times run in 10-minute intervals through the club at 239-431-9330. No guest green fee is published, but the resort's 2026 advance-purchase package gave 10% off stays of two or more nights plus a round with cart and range balls. The resort fully reopened in May 2024 after its Hurricane Ian restoration. Allow 10 to 15 minutes by car to the course. See the LaPlaya course guide and LaPlaya Golf Club.
ArrowHead: the public course in North Naples
ArrowHead is one of the few true public courses in North Naples, a flat 1997 Gordon Lewis layout with 16 lakes in the Heritage Greens neighbourhood off Immokalee Road and Collier Boulevard. From the 6,832-yard Championship tees it rates 73.1/130, and the Middle tees play 5,243. It is plain rather than a destination, but anyone can book it on the club site, GolfNow or TeeOff, and it is a likely home course for snowbirds who want a membership without buying a house.
Reviewers note tee times packed about 7 minutes apart in season, which slows rounds, so book early. GolfNow's prepaid times need 24 hours' notice to cancel. Private North Naples golf clubs
Almost everything else is private, for members and their guests. Visitors play these as a member's guest; in bundled communities, a renter may get access under club rules.
- Pelican Bay and the Gulf side: Club Pelican Bay (27 holes), Bay Colony, Pelican Marsh and Old Collier, a golf-only club by the Cocohatchee River.
- US 41 to the Lee line: Collier's Reserve, Audubon, Imperial East and West, and Stonebridge, where golf comes with every home.
- Livingston Road: Mediterra (two 18s), Talis Park, The Strand (27 holes) and Vineyards, whose Full Golf Memberships are open to non-residents.
- Immokalee Road and east: Quail Creek, Quail West, Olde Cypress, Heritage Bay, Esplanade, TwinEagles and Bonita Bay Club East.
- Vanderbilt Beach Road golf-only clubs: Calusa Pines, Olde Florida and Golf Club of the Everglades.
Quail Creek is mid-renovation: the Creek course closed in April 2026 for a $26 million project and is due back in December 2026, after which the Quail course closes until December 2027. See private golf clubs in Naples.
North Naples golf for a winter stay
A snowbird in North Naples has more routes in than a short-trip visitor. ArrowHead sells memberships and a summer membership, prices not published. Among the private clubs, Quail Village sells golf memberships to people living outside its community, and Vineyards opens Full Golf Memberships to non-residents; neither publishes prices. Valencia books online up to 30 days ahead and gives Florida residents and military 10% off.
Renting inside a golf community is the other route. At Heritage Bay, one 2-bed condo listed $6,175 a month for January to March 2027, with a 30-day minimum and HOA approval needed a month ahead; the $600 transfer fee opens the 27-hole course, and cart and green fees are extra. At Esplanade, the listed rental needs a 6-month minimum and golf access for renters is unclear. Pelican Bay condos include no golf, because the Pelican Bay club is private.

- Value: Hampton Inn Naples I-75, 7 minutes from ArrowHead, or Hilton Naples, about 3.5 miles from Tiburón.
- Long stays: Heritage Bay seasonal rentals, where one listing charged renters a $600 transfer fee for golf access, or Lake San Marino RV Resort, sites from about $74 a night on Campspot.
