Ratings from the GolfPass listing. Five sets of tees from 5,166 to 7,261 yards are the main reason it suits mixed groups: the Gold tees are a real test at 150 slope, while the Silver tees at 5,891 yards play to 130. Water comes into play on the lake holes.

The course

Reflection Bay is a Nicklaus desert course with five holes on the lakeshore, and our files rate it the best public course in the east valley for lake views. It reopened after a renovation reported by KTNV; the date was not captured.

The thing to know before a winter trip is the grass. The club's maintenance page explains a move to paspalum and says the fairways are no longer overseeded; only the tee boxes are. So from December to February expect firm, tan fairways rather than the green rye you see on most Las Vegas courses, and in cold snaps they can go off-colour.

The 2026 tee-box overseed dates were not captured, so check before a September or early October round. See our Las Vegas golf overseed guide.

The Reflection Bay course guide has the hole-by-hole layout.

Reflection Bay Golf Club rates and resident rates

No public rate card was found on November 4, 2026. Prices show in the online booking engine, so pick your date and look.

Clark County residents get special rates. To qualify:

  • a valid Nevada driver's licence, or
  • a Nevada Seasonal Resident ID.

Utility bills and photocopies are not accepted. Residents can book 7 days ahead; the non-resident window is not stated. If anyone in your group lives in Clark County, bring the licence.

For snowbirds, the Seasonal Resident ID line is the useful one; our files do not say how to obtain one, so ask the club. For how resident pricing works around the valley, see Las Vegas golf resident rates.

Other policies: cancel 48 hours ahead or the card is charged, and the facility is cashless.

Getting to Reflection Bay from other bases

Most visitors drive out from the Strip or Henderson for the day. Times to the course with no traffic:

From Drive
The Strip at Flamingo Rd33 min, 18.1 mi
Caesars Palace34 min, 18.4 mi
Green Valley Ranch24 min, 13.8 mi
Aloft Henderson25 min, 14.7 mi
M Resort32 min, 19.7 mi

A group playing Reflection Bay Golf Club and Cascata on back-to-back days saves driving by staying at the lake for those nights: the Hilton is 3 minutes from Reflection Bay and 26 minutes from Cascata, against 33 and 35 minutes from Caesars Palace.

When to play

Reflection Bay follows the Las Vegas calendar. Spring (March to May) and fall (October to mid-November) are peak golf with the highest green fees across the valley. December to February is cooler and cheaper, with about five freezing nights in December at the airport and frost delays common on early tee times. June to September is very hot, with highs of about 99F to 105F in June to August, so take a dawn tee time.

At Reflection Bay the winter trade-off is the paspalum: lower winter prices valley-wide, but tan fairways here. For month-by-month detail, see the best time to golf in Las Vegas.

Partner hotels at Lake Las Vegas

Reflection Bay lists two lakeside hotels as Stay-N-Play partners. Inquiries go to (800) 407-7723; no 2026-27 package price was published.

Stay To Reflection Bay Resort fee (Nov 2026, third party) Loyalty
The Westin Lake Las Vegas2 min, 0.5 mi$35Marriott Bonvoy
Hilton Lake Las Vegas3 min, 1.0 mi$32.77Hilton Honors

Both resort fees are low by Las Vegas standards; many Strip resorts charge $51 to $62 a night. A Westin and Reflection Bay package was sold on UnderPar through May 31, 2026, and has expired; no 2026-27 version had been seen. Room rates were not captured.

The trade-off is distance. Both hotels are about 30 minutes from the Strip, so a lake base suits couples and groups who want quiet golf days, not nightly Strip runs. Off-Strip areas are also less exposed to the event spikes that push Strip room rates up, such as Grand Prix week (November 19-21, 2026), though the files do not put a number on the difference. See Lake Las Vegas golf and Las Vegas golf resorts.

SouthShore: the private course next door

SouthShore Country Club is the other course at Lake Las Vegas. It is private, with an initiation fee and dues; members and accompanied guests only. Lake Las Vegas links it beside Reflection Bay, but visitors have no route in that our files name. Play Reflection Bay.

Pairing Reflection Bay with nearby courses

From the Hilton Lake Las Vegas:

Course Drive from the Hilton Note
Chimera8 minTed Robinson Jr. public course; early overseed, back Sep 24 in 2026
Cascata26 minRees Jones canyon course in Boulder City with a forecaddie

Chimera, the former Tuscany Golf Club, is the mid-priced, forgiving partner for a two-day lake stay; its 2026 overseed closed it September 8-23. See the Chimera course guide. Cascata is the splurge: the fee includes a shared cart, practice and a forecaddie (suggested tip $40 per player), and a 2026 third-party guide estimated about $399 at peak, unverified.

The Reflection Bay Golf Club clubhouse

The clubhouse is 32,000 sq ft, with a golf shop, the Bayside Grill and instruction from the High Performance Golf Institute. The club listed a Thanksgiving Day shotgun at 8:30 a.m. on November 26, 2026.

Who Reflection Bay suits

  • Mixed groups: five tee sets and a 130-slope Silver tee.
  • Couples: a lake base with low resort fees and the course 2 to 3 minutes away.
  • Winter visitors: fine if you accept tan, firm paspalum instead of green rye.
  • Clark County residents and seasonal ID holders: the resident rate and 7-day window.
