Where to eat in Scottsdale after golf depends on where you finished: Old Town has the group dinners and the bars, Camelback Road the big steakhouses, Kierland and Scottsdale Quarter the patios closest to TPC Scottsdale, and Phoenix's Arcadia district some of the Valley's best-known local spots. Tempe, the East Valley and Cave Creek each have their own after-round stop.

This guide sorts the restaurants in our research by area and pairs them with nearby courses. They were located from map listings in November 2026 but not individually re-checked for hours, ownership or price, so confirm before you go. No prices are given because none were read.

Old Town Scottsdale: group dinners and bars

For a group deciding where to eat in Scottsdale, Old Town is the default evening base, and most of the restaurants below are within a short walk of each other and of hotels like the Hilton Garden Inn Old Town and Hyatt Place Old Town.

  • The Mission: modern Latin at 3815 N Brown Avenue beside the Old Mission church; a group dinner that still feels like a night out.
  • Citizen Public House: gastropub on N Craftsman Court in the arts district, with a strong bar.
  • Diego Pops: lively Mexican at 4338 N Scottsdale Road with a patio; tacos and margaritas for a big group.
  • Bandera: wood-fired rotisserie chicken and American comfort food on E 1st Street; reliable when the group just wants a good meal.
  • Cornish Pasty Co.: pub-style pasties and beer at 3900 N Goldwater Boulevard, a long-time Valley favourite.
  • Rusty Spur Saloon: an old Western saloon on E Main Street with live country music; a beer, not dinner.
  • Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row: country bar at 4420 N Saddlebag Trail; the late-night option.

Old Town is also the closest dining to The Phoenician, about 5 minutes away, and to Papago, about 9; see the Papago course guide.

Camelback Road: the splurge steakhouses

The stretch by Scottsdale Fashion Square holds the big-night restaurants:

  • Mastro's City Hall: upscale steakhouse at 6991 E Camelback Road.
  • Maple & Ash: high-end steakhouse at 7135 E Camelback Road; book ahead in season.
  • Ocean 44: upscale seafood and steak at 4748 N Goldwater Boulevard, with Toca Madera (modern Mexican) next door.
  • Culinary Dropout: a casual gastropub with a big patio on the same stretch, easier for mixed appetites.
  • Houston's: a dependable steak, rib and salad dinner at 6113 N Scottsdale Road, between Old Town and Paradise Valley.

Kierland, Scottsdale Quarter and north Scottsdale

For a round at TPC Scottsdale, Kierland or Grayhawk, eat here rather than driving back to Old Town:

  • Dominick's Steakhouse: upscale, with a rooftop, at Scottsdale Quarter across Scottsdale Road from Kierland.
  • Zinc Bistro: French bistro in Kierland Commons for a patio lunch or relaxed dinner. Guests at the Westin Kierland can walk to Kierland Commons; see the Kierland course guide.
  • Mastro's Ocean Club: also at Kierland.
  • Hash Kitchen: brunch at 8777 N Scottsdale Road; the morning-after-golf brunch.
  • Grassroots: a neighbourhood kitchen and bar at 8120 N Hayden Road, handy for the Talking Stick and McCormick Ranch side of town. At Talking Stick Golf Club, Talking Stick Card holders ($129 plus tax for 2026-27) get 20% off food and drink. See the O'odham course guide.

After Troon North Monument, the north Mastro's at 8852 E Pinnacle Peak Road is the closest splurge on our list. See the north Scottsdale golf guide.

Phoenix: Arcadia, Biltmore and downtown

Phoenix holds several of the Valley's best-known local restaurants, close to the Arizona Biltmore Estates course:

  • Pizzeria Bianco: Chris Bianco's pizzeria at 4743 N 20th Street, with the original downtown at 623 E Adams Street. No frills, worth the trip.
  • The Henry: an all-day restaurant and bar at 4455 E Camelback Road, near the Phoenician and Biltmore courses, with a second location at 2 E Camelback Road.
  • Postino Arcadia: a wine cafe at 3939 E Campbell Avenue.
  • The Vig: a neighbourhood bar and restaurant with a patio at 4041 N 40th Street, with another Vig in Scottsdale on Via Paseo Del Sur.
  • Lon's at the Hermosa Inn: the well-known patio dinner at a historic adobe inn in Paradise Valley. The Hermosa Inn is part of the same AZ Hideaway Collection as Rancho Manana golf club.
  • Wrigley Mansion: a hilltop mansion beside the Arizona Biltmore with dining and city views; reservations and current restaurant name not checked.
  • Little Miss BBQ: Central Texas-style barbecue at 8901 N 7th Street; go early.
  • Matt's Big Breakfast: the pre-round breakfast, at 825 N 1st Street, on E Camelback Road and at Sky Harbor.

  • Hash Kitchen Chandler: at 2855 W Ray Road.

Cave Creek and Carefree

Harold's Cave Creek Corral at 6895 E Cave Creek Road is the cowboy-town stop after Rancho Manana, Tatum Ranch or The Boulders South. For breakfast, Black Mountain Coffee at 7211 E Ho Road is the local stop. See Carefree and Cave Creek golf.

Practical tips

A few rules of thumb on where to eat in Scottsdale in season:

  • Book Phoenix Open week and March early. Tournament week brings sold-out restaurants; spring training keeps tables tight through March.
  • Check course food rules. Lookout Mountain bans coolers, outside food and alcohol on the premises, per its scorecard.
  • Use card discounts. The Swing First Golf Card ($179) gives 15% off food and drink at Scottsdale Country Club. The Arizona Grand course notes list 25% off at the resort's Lobby Grill with a scorecard; ask whether it applies to non-guests.
  • Eat early in winter. December sunsets are about 5:21 PM, so a late round runs straight into dinner.

For the rest of the off-course day, see things to do in Scottsdale, and for a group plan with nights out built in, the Scottsdale buddies golf trip guide and the Scottsdale golf trip itinerary. Our where to eat in Palm Springs and where to eat in Tucson guides cover the other desert towns.
