Green-fee ranges: Orlando golf resorts compared: the courses each one unlocks and what it adds to the bill

The best Orlando golf resorts are the ones that unlock a course you cannot otherwise play: Bay Hill, Tranquilo and Reunion take only their own guests. After that, the Omni ChampionsGate (36 holes), Grande Lakes, Rosen Shingle Creek and the World Center Marriott put a good public course at the door. Most add a resort fee of $47 to $62 a night.

This guide compares every golf resort on our map: the courses each one unlocks, who can play them, and the resort fee and parking you pay on top of the room. Fees come from a third-party resort-fee list and resort pages seen in November 2026. Room rates were not published in our research, so none are quoted here.

Quick facts

  • Guest-only golf: Bay Hill (Lodge guests), Tranquilo (Four Seasons guests), Reunion's three courses (Reunion guests).
  • Most holes on site: Omni ChampionsGate (two 18s), Reunion (three 18s), Orange County National Lodge (two 18s plus a 9), Mission Resort + Club (two 18s plus a short course).
  • Highest resort fee: Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes, $61.88 a night, plus $58 valet.
  • No resort fee: Disney-owned hotels; none found at the OCN Lodge.
  • Tournament weeks: PNC Championship at Grande Lakes (Dec 14-20, 2026), Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill (Mar 15-21, 2027).

Resort fees are per room per night from resortfeechecker (dates from April to November 2026). Parking figures are the resorts' daily rates with in-and-out privileges where stated.

The guest-only resorts

Bay Hill. The club says its courses are "available exclusively to members and to guests staying at our Lodge." That makes a Lodge room the only way for a visitor to play the Championship course, home of the Arnold Palmer Invitational, and the Charger nine. Third-party reviews say each night includes a round, and tour operators sell 2-night/2-round and 3/3 packages. With about 70 rooms, groups should book early, and tournament week in March is not a normal stay. More in how to play Bay Hill.

Four Seasons. Tranquilo, the Tom Fazio course that was Disney's Osprey Ridge until 2014, is reserved for resort guests and club members. Older directory listings mention a 30-day public window; treat public access as not available.

Reunion. The Palmer, Watson and Nicklaus courses are for members and resort guests. Renters in owners' homes get in through the Reunion Houseguest Program, so check before you pay. See Reunion Resort golf.

The big public-course resorts

Grande Lakes. The Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott share the Greg Norman course on one estate: 7,122 yards from the Black tees (73.9/139), with caddies charged separately. A 2025 guide put public rates at $299-375 and guest rates at $269-345. The course reopened on November 1, 2026 after regrassing (reported in a search snippet) and closes to guest play around the PNC Championship, Dec 14-20, 2026. The JW usually has the cheaper rooms. See the Grande Lakes course guide.

Omni ChampionsGate. Two Norman 18s, International and National. GolfLink showed International at $140-189 for November 5, 2026. The resort fee rose 20% in 2026, to $54.96. Read ChampionsGate golf.

Rosen Shingle Creek. Guests walk to the first tee of Shingle Creek, a David Harman design renovated by Arnold Palmer Design Co. in 2016 that plays 7,213 yards from the Black tees (74.3/137). It is a huge convention hotel, which suits big groups, and it may be the rare Orlando golf resort with no resort fee. The Shingle Creek course guide has the rest.

Orlando World Center Marriott. Hawk's Landing wraps the resort: a Robert Cupp par 70 of 6,255 yards that suits mixed groups. The $52.87 fee includes a shuttle.

Bonnet Creek. The Waldorf Astoria Golf Club, a Rees Jones design rated 74.5/145 from the Black tees, sits between the Waldorf and the Signia. Disney's golf perk list names the Signia (as Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek) but not the Waldorf.

Golf-first resorts away from the parks

The Lodge at Orange County National. 43 rooms inside the club, with Panther Lake, Crooked Cat and the Tooth plus a big practice range. Stay-and-play examples ran $496 a player (March 27, 2026) and $597 (April 13-15, 2026). It is 20 to 25 minutes from the Disney parks. See the Panther Lake course guide.

Mission Resort + Club. In Howey-in-the-Hills, about an hour from Disney, with El Campeon (1917) and Las Colinas in rolling country that is unusual for Florida. A 2026 package was 4 nights and 3 rounds; a resort fee is charged but the amount was not found. Read Mission Inn golf.

Timeshare resorts with golf

Mystic Dunes. The Mystic Dunes course is a public Gary Koch par 72, with stay-and-play packages and kitchen suites; expect sales pitches. Orange Lake has the Legends, the Reserve, executive 9s and a Toptracer range, but reviews call conditions mixed and public access was not confirmed.

What changed at Grand Cypress

The Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress is no longer a golf resort in its own right: its 27 holes and the Villas closed in November 2019. The two Nicklaus courses next door, Cypress and Links, belong to Evermore, open to the public 60 days ahead, with preferred rates for Evermore and Conrad guests only. See Grand Cypress golf.

Disney's hotels

Disney's four courses are public, so a Disney hotel does not unlock anything. What it does give you is no resort fee and, per Disney's undated perks page, a complimentary taxi to the courses. Our Disney hotels near golf guide has the details, and Orlando resort fees adds up what fees and parking cost over a trip. For a Gulf coast comparison, see Naples golf resorts.

Questions golfers ask

What is the best golf resort in Orlando?

It depends what you want to play. Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club & Lodge is the only way onto the Arnold Palmer Invitational course, the Omni ChampionsGate has two Greg Norman 18s on site, Reunion has three courses for its guests, and the Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott share the Norman course that hosts the PNC Championship.

Which Orlando golf resorts have guest-only courses?

Bay Hill (members and Lodge guests), Tranquilo (Four Seasons Resort Orlando guests and club members) and Reunion's Palmer, Watson and Nicklaus courses (members and Reunion Resort guests, including renters on the Houseguest Program). Everywhere else in this guide, the public can book.

How much are resort fees at Orlando golf resorts?

On a third-party list from 2026, the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes charged $61.88 a night, the JW Marriott $61.87, the Four Seasons, Waldorf Astoria and Signia $56.25, the Omni ChampionsGate $54.96, the World Center Marriott $52.87 and Reunion $47.40. Parking is extra at most of them.

Is there an Orlando golf resort with no resort fee?

Disney-owned hotels charge none, and no resort fee was found for the Lodge at Orange County National. Rosen Shingle Creek is not on the November 2026 resort fee list and Roomer says it charges none, though Hotels.com lists a $10 per person daily facilities fee, so confirm at booking.

Do Orlando golf resort guests pay less for golf?

At some. Grande Lakes guests paid $269-345 against $299-375 for the public in a 2025 guide, Conrad and Evermore guests get preferred rates at Grand Cypress, and Marriott lists a $25 nightly golf credit at the World Center Marriott. Disney's 2026 rates page says Disney resort guests pay public rates.

Is Grand Cypress still a golf resort?

Not the Hyatt. The old Grand Cypress North, South and East 27 holes and the Villas closed in November 2019. The two Nicklaus courses next door now belong to Evermore Orlando Resort, open to the public 60 days ahead, with earlier booking for Evermore and Conrad guests.
