Lehigh Acres golf: Westminster, Ibis Landing, Lehigh Resort Club and the value courses east of Fort Myers

Lehigh Acres golf is the value corner of Southwest Florida: Ibis Landing, a Troon-run public course with published rates and range balls included; The Club at Westminster, regrassed in 2023 and open to the public all year; and a nine-hole course at Lehigh Resort Club. Lehigh sits east of Fort Myers, close to RSW, about 68 minutes from downtown Naples.

Lehigh Acres golf courses compared

Ibis Landing

Ibis Landing is a Gordon Lewis course in the Ibis Landing community in east Lehigh Acres, managed by Troon, which bills it as premier public golf near Fort Myers. From the back tees it plays 6,680 yards at 70.9/129.

Its strength is clear pricing. The rates page, read in November 2026, lists:

All rates are plus 6.5% tax and include cart and warm-up balls. A practice pass is $20, rentals $75 and a non-playing rider $30. January to April rates were not yet posted.

Tee times post online at midnight seven days ahead, and online specials apply only to online bookings. Groups of 16 or more can book 8 days out by phone, which helps a big buddies trip. The practice facility is open from 7am to 2pm on Mondays and 7am to 6pm the rest of the week, and carts must be in by sunset. A members-only section exists, with membership terms not published. The Club at Westminster

Westminster is a semi-private Ted McAnlis course that calls itself open to the public all year. It is flat and inland, with water, and it closed in late spring 2023 for a major renovation: regrassing, new greens and bunker work. It reopened in November 2023, so its greens and fairways are three seasons old, and a clubhouse renovation was approved for 2024.

Public tee times are on TeeItUp, and members book on a separate site. If your time is sold out, the Noteefy waitlist alerts you when one opens. The club posts no rates beyond online "hot offers," and resident and non-resident memberships are sold without published prices. It has a driving range. See the Westminster course guide.

Lehigh Resort Club

Lehigh Resort Club is a timeshare and rental resort in old Lehigh Acres with a nine-hole course, 3,303 yards at par 37, originally by Roy Albert Anderson and renovated by Gordon Lewis. Resort guests get discounted rates; the public books on TeeItUp. A 10-Play Pass gives ten rounds for the price of nine, used within 60 days. No prices are published. It is the remnant of the old Lehigh resort golf and mainly worth it if you are staying at the resort.

Mirror Lakes: status unclear

Mirror Lakes Golf Club was a public Lehigh Acres course. It is still mapped in OpenStreetMap and listed on one directory, but it is missing from GolfLink's current Lehigh Acres list, and no operating website was found. It is likely closed, but that is not confirmed, so call first. It is not on our map.

Value courses nearby

Lehigh's neighbours east of Fort Myers add a few more options:

• Eastwood: the City of Fort Myers' longer course, over 7,100 yards, $70 with cart before noon and $35 after 3pm in November 2026, booked 7 days ahead on foreUP. See the Eastwood course guide and Eastwood Golf Course.
• River Hall: a Davis Love III course in Alva, private and member-exclusive for most of the year, but its site says outside guests are welcome during the summer months.
• Private clubs on the way in: Verandah on State Road 80, with its Whispering Oak course, Pelican Preserve, whose golf memberships are open to non-residents, and Heritage Palms, where golf is bundled with every home.

Our map has no hotel in Lehigh Acres itself. The airport hotels are the practical base:

• SpringHill Suites Fort Myers Airport: north of RSW toward the Daniels Parkway corridor.
• Homewood Suites Fort Myers Airport/FGCU and Hilton Garden Inn Fort Myers Airport/FGCU: side by side off Alico Road near I-75.
• RV: Seminole Campground in North Fort Myers, 17 minutes from Eastwood, about $70 a night in early 2025.

When to play

Lehigh is inland, and the RSW weather station, the closest to it, shows the difference from the coast. Winter dawns are a little cooler, with a January normal low of 54.4F against 55.9F at Naples, and winter brings about 7 to 8 rain days a month against 4 to 5 on the coast. Summer is wetter too: June averages 10.3 inches at RSW. Wind drops to about 5.3 to 5.5 mph in July and August, so summer rounds are hot and still; book the first tee times. Ibis Landing's step from $69 in early October to $99 in November shows how quickly prices rise as the season starts. From late February into March, Red Sox games at JetBlue Park, just north of RSW, back up Daniels Parkway, so allow extra time on game days.

Who Lehigh suits

Lehigh Acres golf suits a group flying into RSW that wants published prices and fresh turf without Naples rates: Ibis Landing and Westminster on back-to-back days, with Eastwood for a third.
