CasaBlanca Golf Club, Mesquite: Course Guide, Rates and Tips

CasaBlanca Golf Club in Mesquite is the flat, water-heavy resort course next to CasaBlanca Resort, with water on 13 of 18 holes and the Nevada Open every early November. It's public, includes a cart, and was $160 in the morning in fall 2026, dropping to $130 from Nov 18. The best way to play it is a room-and-golf package: hotel guests get 20% off, paired with the sister course, the Palms.

CasaBlanca Golf Club in Mesquite at a glance

The course

Most Mesquite golf is canyon golf up on the mesas. CasaBlanca is the opposite: a flat river-bottom and wetlands layout along the Virgin River, a parkland-desert hybrid with big, well-placed bunkers and water on 13 holes. Reviewers say carts can reach most of the course, unlike at most Mesquite courses.

It's low, flat and windy. Afternoon wind is its main defense. From the forward tees, reviewers say the water is mostly visual and the bunkers do the damage.

Holes to know

• #3: a short, heavily bunkered par 4, driveable from some tees. The wind decides whether you should try.
• #5: the No. 1 handicap, with water all down the left.
• #16: the shortest hole, with a forced carry over a pond and stream.
• #17: described by the club as the hardest hole, with natural wasteland down the right.
• #18: drive center or left to avoid the bunkers right and out-of-bounds left. A center-green approach takes the bunkers around the green out of play.

CasaBlanca green fees

These are the "Resort Rate" on Mesquite Gaming's official rGuest engine, seen Oct 23, 2026, for dates from Oct 24, 2026 to Feb 23, 2027. The cart shows as included. Taxes, if any, weren't shown. Prices after Jan 21, 2027 weren't loaded yet, so spring 2027 peak rates aren't known.

In winter the online inventory is a 10:00 AM block and a 3:06 PM shotgun-start block, so you won't find early-morning times.

There's also an "MG Pass" rate of $75 before 1 PM and $55 twilight, shown on dates through Oct 30, 2026. It's Mesquite Gaming's pass, but how to buy it and what it costs aren't published online.

Room and golf at CasaBlanca Resort

CasaBlanca Resort is a 472-room casino resort with a spa, Katherine's Steakhouse and an RV park. The course is on the property.

The golf page, read Oct 23, 2026, offers:

• 20% off a Room and Golf Package for hotel guests, booked through the golf package coordinator at 877-438-2929. No package prices are posted, and no golf package is sold in the online room engine.
• A free room and golf for the group leader when a golf group plays CasaBlanca or the Palms.

Room rates on the official calendar (Deluxe 2 Queen, before tax, seen October 2026): $102.09 Sun-Thu in December 2026, $111.09 on Tue Nov 10, 2026 and Tue Feb 16, 2027, and $188.49 to $197.49 on February to April 2027 Saturdays. There's a $12.99 nightly resort fee, and the calendar figures appear to include it. Weekend rates nearly double. The CasaBlanca golf package guide works through the room-plus-golf math.

Mesquite Gaming also owns Virgin River Casino & Lodge, with cheaper rooms ($46.80 Sun-Thu in December and January) and no resort fee. Its group leaders get the same free-room-and-golf offer.

The Nevada Open and tournament weeks

CasaBlanca and the Palms host the Nevada Open each early November, a 54-hole event for pros and amateurs that's free to watch (the 2024 purse was $150,000). The 2026 dates couldn't be confirmed with the tournament, but the online sheet showed no public times from Nov 3 to 7, 2026, and none on Thanksgiving, Nov 26. Other resort events that block the sheet in late 2026: II-Man Fall (Nov 6-8), the Gobbler Classic (Nov 22) and Swing with Santa (Dec 20). If you're coming in early November, check the sheet before you book flights.

Overseed

CasaBlanca didn't publish 2026 overseed dates, and neither did Golf Zoo. A third-party schedule from April 2026 estimated about Sep 8 to Oct 3 with a few cart-path-only days, marked TBD. In 2025 it closed Sep 8 to 26, then went cart-path-only Sep 27 to Oct 9. CasaBlanca's own page lists Sep 6 to Sep 26 with no year. Golf Zoo lists a 2026 aerification on Jun 22.

Practice and the 19th hole

• Practice: full-service range, putting green and chipping area.
• Food: a deli and bar at the course. The resort has Katherine's Steakhouse (reservations recommended), Jersey Joe's Diner and Ritas & Fajitas.

Getting there

The course is on the CasaBlanca Resort property on W Hafen Lane, the same road as the entrance to Coyote Willows, the 9-hole course about 5 minutes from the resort by road. The Hampton Inn & Suites is the closest non-casino hotel.

Who CasaBlanca suits

CasaBlanca Golf Club in Mesquite is the right pick for a few kinds of golfer:

• Groups staying at CasaBlanca Resort. The course is on the property, and the 20% package discount plus the free room and golf for the group leader add up over a long weekend.
• Golfers who don't love forced carries over canyons. It's flat, carts can reach most of the course, and from the Clubs or Diamonds tees it's one of the friendlier rounds in town.
• Winter visitors on a budget. $130 from Nov 18, 2026 through Jan 21, 2027, cart included, is well under the winter morning rates at Oasis ($155) and Falcon Ridge ($145).

Tips for playing CasaBlanca Golf Club in Mesquite

1. Expect wind in the afternoon along the river.
2. Pick the Clubs tees unless you want forced carries over water from the Double Spades.
3. Bundle it with the Palms through the package coordinator.
4. Avoid early November unless you're there for the Nevada Open.
5. Mesquite is on Pacific Time, one hour behind St. George. A 9:00 tee time is 10:00 on a St. George clock.
