Best for a Laughlin Ranch trip: the Riverside

Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort is the original Laughlin casino, at the north end of Casino Drive by the bridge. That makes it the shortest run to Laughlin Ranch, about 11 minutes. It sells a Laughlin Ranch Golf & Room Package, booked through the hotel, and is the one property with a published sample price: $107 to $299 per person per night for four golfers, Sunday to Thursday, three rounds, via GolfTroop, valid through Dec 31, 2026 on request.

Evenings are easy: a 34-lane bowling center, a six-screen cinema, a showroom and Don Laughlin's free classic car collection. The rooms are older and towers vary, so ask for a renovated or riverview room. The resort fee was $27 a night. Best for Mojave Resort: the Avi

The Avi Resort & Casino is owned by the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe, which also owns Mojave Resort Golf Club next door and Huukan in Fort Mohave. The course names the Avi its preferred Stay & Play partner, and the Avi says guests get reduced rates; neither publishes an amount. Parking is free, there is a private sandy beach, pool and boat launch, and no resort fee for those amenities.

The trade-offs: it is about 10 miles south of the Casino Drive strip, only adults 21 and over can book, and there are no pets. Huukan is about 14 minutes away, El Rio about 14 minutes and Laughlin Ranch 25 minutes. Travelocity showed rooms from $52.49 before tax for a Monday night in February 2026. Best for a big group: the Aquarius

The Aquarius is the largest hotel in Laughlin, with 1,906 rooms and the Laughlin Event Center on site. It is a Laughlin Ranch partner, and its golf page lists six area courses with booking phones and tells guests to ask about Aquarius discounts when booking. It is also the host hotel for the Laughlin Desert Classic off-road race (Oct 15-19, 2026), a week to avoid. Expect long walks from parking to rooms.

Best value with a package: the Edgewater

The Edgewater, next door to the Aquarius, gives free parking and free valet, which helps when you are loading clubs every morning. Ask for the Sedona Tower, whose rooms are 370 sq ft against 310 in the Santa Fe Tower. Listings disagree on whether a resort fee applies, so confirm.

Best for Caesars Rewards: Harrah's or the Tropicana

Harrah's Laughlin is the most resort-like stay on Casino Drive, with the strip's only sandy river beach and an adults-only tower. Tropicana Laughlin is central and usually the lower-priced Caesars option, though on the inland side with fewer river views. Both reserve Laughlin Ranch tee times during booking and carry Caesars Rewards earning and comps. Harrah's, at the south end, is about 16 minutes from Laughlin Ranch.

Best for a couple or foursome: the Golden Nugget

The Golden Nugget Laughlin has about 300 rooms, so check-in and getting to the car are quick. It is mid-strip on the river, walkable to the Tropicana, Pioneer and Edgewater, and is a Laughlin Ranch partner. Saltgrass Steak House is on site. It is not the place for a big group block.

Best on a tight budget

The Laughlin River Lodge, the former River Palms, reported no resort fee, so the price you see is close to the price you pay. All nine casinos are in Nevada, on Pacific time. Laughlin Ranch, Huukan, Los Lagos and El Rio are in Arizona. From Nov 1, 2026 to Mar 14, 2027, a 9:00 AM tee time in Bullhead City is 8:00 AM on the casino clock, so leave an hour earlier than the hotel clock suggests. When the best Laughlin casino for golfers costs least

Casinos price by day of week. Aggregator data seen in October 2026 put Laughlin weeknights at about $55 and weekends at about $93, plus the resort fee. Sunday to Thursday is the value window for golf groups, and January to March midweek rooms stay cheap even in peak golf season. Avoid New Year's Eve, the October off-road race week and the late-April rally weekend if price matters.
