The Oaks Golf Club Pass Christian rates by season

The Oaks steps its online rates by season. These are the public "Net Best Rate Guarantee" prices for specific dates on its foreUP site, read October 25, 2026:

Period Weekday (before ~2 PM) Weekend (before ~2 PM)
Late Oct - Nov 2026$99$109

Twilight and late twilight

The afternoon prices are the best reason to play here. In October and November 2026:

Time Weekday Weekend
From about 2 PM$59$69
From about 4 PM (late twilight)$39$49

A $39 late tee time on a 7,000-yard course is among the best values on the Mississippi coast. The catch is daylight. A 4 PM start in November will not finish 18, so treat late twilight as a nine-and-see round, or take the 2 PM rate if you want the full course. Our guide to cheap golf on the Mississippi Gulf Coast compares every late-day deal.

Booking The Oaks: the 365-day window

The Oaks books through foreUP, with separate tabs for the public, Oaks Card holders and Platinum members. The public tab is the "Net Best Rate Guarantee" class, and it opens 365 days ahead. When we checked on October 25, 2026, bookable times showed from October 28, 2026, through June 2027.

What to know before you book:

  • Cancel 48 hours or more ahead, or the card on file is charged.
  • Waitlist: sold-out times have a waitlist with text alerts.
  • Far-out prices may still be adjusted, so the rate you see for next spring is a guide.

That window is the longest on the coast. Groups can lock spring weekend times at the same moment they book flights, which is rarely possible elsewhere: Windance opens 14 days out and Pass Christian Isles only 7. Our Biloxi tee times guide lists every course's window.

The Oaks Card and memberships

If you will play The Oaks more than once, look at the Oaks Card. The 2027 card was on sale in October 2026. Its terms, from the club site:

  • Green fees 30% to 50% off.
  • Twilight from 1 PM for cardholders.
  • A free first round worth up to $99.
  • Guests of cardholders pay $10 over the cardholder rate.
  • Unlimited range balls with a paid green fee.

The card's price was not published in our research, so ask the shop. A Platinum annual membership is also sold. For snowbirds spending a winter on the west end, the card is worth pricing against the $89 winter rate.

How The Oaks plays

The Oaks runs through timberland and native wetlands inside a housing community. Expect parkland holes, strategic bunkering and big green complexes. It plays to par 72.

These are the USGA ratings:

Tee Yards Men (rating/slope) Women (rating/slope)
Gold7,00674.6 / 140-
Blue6,35471.3 / 130-
White5,77867.4 / 11873.1 / 126
Green5,32065.3 / 11370.6 / 120
Red4,69162.6 / 10667.1 / 113

The Gold tees are the longest public set on the west side and a genuine test at 140 slope. Most trip golfers will be happier on the Blue tees at 6,354 yards. The five sets give mixed groups plenty of choice. Our Oaks course guide has the hole-by-hole map.

Design and history

The design credit is disputed. GolfPass and AllSquare credit Dr. Gil Morgan, whom the club quotes. GolfGuide credits Landmark Land's in-house designers Stephen Caplinger and Chris Cole. The club site says the course hosted Nike Tour and Buy.com Tour events in 1999 and 2000 and a PGA Tour Q-School first stage in 2003. It also won the Sun Herald People's Choice first place in 2015, 2017 and 2019.

Conditions

This is the part to check before a big group trip. GolfPass reviews from 2025 and 2026 are mixed: sparse fairways in March 2025, good greens in May 2025, and "tee boxes hurting" in September 2026. Cart-path-only after rain is common, and some reviewers said they were not warned before booking. Turf types and overseed practice are not published. Read the latest reviews in the week before you play, and call ahead after heavy rain.

  • The Oaks Golf Academy, with PGA professionals Cole and Presley Baggett.
  • Junior camps, ladies' clinics and a ladies' league.
  • Driving range and golf shop.

Pairing The Oaks with nearby courses

The Oaks sits in the middle of the west-end cluster, which makes it easy to pair:

  • Pass Christian Isles is about 10 minutes south, a 1914 course at $36 to $52. Morning at one and afternoon at the other is an easy two-round day; our Pass Christian Isles course guide has its layout.
  • Diamondhead's Cardinal course is at I-10 exit 16, west of The Oaks' exit 24.
  • The Bridges is about 32 minutes from the Hollywood Casino hotel. It closes on Tuesdays, so The Oaks makes a good Tuesday round for a Bay St. Louis stay.
  • Windance in Gulfport is the other big public course on this side. Our Windance vs The Oaks comparison sets them side by side.

The Oaks is about 20 minutes from Gulfport and about an hour from New Orleans, which also makes it a natural first or last round for golfers flying into MSY. Our guide to New Orleans to Biloxi covers that drive.

Where to stay for The Oaks

The closest hotel on our map is the Ramada by Wyndham Diamondhead, about 15 minutes away. On its booking site, read October 25, 2026, an exterior 2-queen room was $87 on Tuesday November 10 and $93 on Saturday November 21, taxes and fees included. That small weekend gap is unusual on this coast.

The Hilton Garden Inn Gulfport Airport is about 20 minutes away, and Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast about 32. Our guide to Bay St. Louis golf covers bases on the west end, and where to stay in Biloxi for golf compares the whole coast.

When to play The Oaks

At The Oaks Golf Club in Pass Christian, spring (March to April) and fall (late October to November) carry the top rates, matching the coast's two high seasons. Winter is $10 cheaper on weekday mornings. Late summer and fall sit inside hurricane season (June 1 to November 30), so check cancellation terms on your room. Our guide to the best time to golf in Biloxi walks through the year month by month.

Plan it on the map

Open the Biloxi golf map to see The Oaks with its rates, tee data and drive times from every hotel. The $30 plan can lock a west-end rotation around The Oaks' 365-day window, pairing it with Pass Christian Isles, Diamondhead and The Bridges, and putting the late-twilight rates to work on arrival day.
