One flag per course: Where to eat in Laughlin after a round of golf

For where to eat in Laughlin after golf, start with the casino steakhouses on Casino Drive: the Prime Rib Room at the Riverside, Saltgrass at the Golden Nugget and The Range at Harrah's. Several courses also have their own restaurants, and Black Bear Diner in Bullhead City is the usual early breakfast stop.

Laughlin dining is mostly inside the casinos, which suits golfers: you can eat, walk the Riverwalk and be in bed without moving the car. This guide groups the options the way a golf day runs, from breakfast to the clubhouse to dinner, and adds Lake Havasu City for anyone playing the south end. Our research covers names and locations, not menus, prices or hours, so call ahead, especially for a group.

Quick facts

  • Group dinner: casino steakhouses on Casino Drive, all within a short walk or drive of each other.
  • Breakfast: Black Bear Diner on AZ 95 in Bullhead City, on Arizona time.
  • At the course: SLATE at Laughlin Ranch, the Colorado Room at Rivers Edge, clubhouse dining at Huukan.
  • No outside food: Laughlin Ranch does not allow outside food or drink.
  • Lake Havasu: Shugrue's and Barley Brothers Brewery beside the London Bridge.
  • Clock check: Arizona restaurants are one hour ahead of Laughlin from Nov 1, 2026 to Mar 14, 2027.

Where to eat in Laughlin on Casino Drive

The steakhouse is the default golf-group dinner here, and the strip has a choice of them.

  • Prime Rib Room at Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort, at the north end of Casino Drive by the bridge. An old-school casino prime-rib dining room that handles groups easily. The Riverside also has Casa Serrano for Mexican food and the Riverside Buffet.
  • Saltgrass Steak House at Golden Nugget Laughlin, 2300 S Casino Dr. A Texas-style chain steakhouse with river views, reliable for a group.
  • The Range Steakhouse at Harrah's Laughlin, 2900 S Casino Dr, at the south end of the strip.
  • Stockman's Steakhouse at 2020 S Casino Dr, mid-strip. Its operator and current hours were not verified.

The Aquarius, the largest hotel in town, has the most choice under one roof: River Rock Pizza & Pasta, Cafe Aquarius, a restaurant called Rivers Edge (not the Needles golf course), The Cove Bar & Lounge and Duet Coffee & Wine. South of the strip, the Avi Resort & Casino lists six dining options, handy after a round at Mojave Resort next door.

Laughlin Ranch is the most complete clubhouse on the river, with SLATE plus a spa, fitness center and pool. It does not allow outside food or drink, so plan breakfast before you go. The Laughlin Ranch course guide has the rates and layout.

Chaparral's restaurant and bar came under city management when Bullhead City took over the course, with clubhouse hours of 7:30 am to 8 pm and golf from dawn to dusk, per the club. Note the course itself was closed for reseeding until November 10, 2026. Huukan's clubhouse adds a snack shop as well as its dining room. At Rivers Edge, the Colorado Room looks over the river, a good lunch stop on a Needles day; the Rivers Edge course guide covers that course.

Breakfast before an early tee time

Black Bear Diner on Mohave Valley Highway (AZ 95) in Bullhead City is the big-portion family diner chain that serves as the standard pre-round stop for the Arizona-side courses. It is on Arizona time. In winter, a Laughlin casino guest heading to a 7:30 AM tee time in Bullhead City needs to be eating at what the hotel clock calls about 6:00 AM, because Arizona runs an hour ahead from November 1, 2026 to March 14, 2027.

On the strip, Cafe Aquarius, Duet Coffee & Wine and the Riverside Buffet are the in-house options our research names. Opening hours were not verified.

Where to eat in Lake Havasu City after golf

If you are playing the south end of the river, eat by the London Bridge. Shugrue's is a long-running restaurant at the foot of the bridge in the English Village area, with views of the bridge and the Bridgewater Channel. Book ahead in spring break and Desert Storm weeks. Next door at 1425 McCulloch Blvd, Barley Brothers Brewery brews its own beer and has bridge views, which suits a group after a round at Lake Havasu Golf Club's Desert East or Desert West courses a few minutes away.

The resorts by the channel add more. London Bridge Resort has Martini Bay, Kokomo Beach Club, Papa Leone's Pizza and Roxy's Beach Bar & Cafe. On the Island, The Nautical Beachfront Resort has the Turtle Grille and the Naked Turtle Beach Bar, and the HEAT Hotel has a covered patio bar on the channel. Expect noise on spring and summer weekends along the channel. For a full Havasu plan, see the Lake Havasu golf trip itinerary and where to stay in Lake Havasu for golf.

Matching dinner to where you stay

The easiest dinner is the one you can walk to, so let your base decide.

  • North end of the strip (the Riverside, with the Aquarius just south of it): the Prime Rib Room, Casa Serrano, the Riverside Buffet and the Aquarius restaurants are all close. Both hotels are about 11 minutes from Laughlin Ranch.
  • Mid-strip (Tropicana Laughlin, Edgewater and the Golden Nugget): the Golden Nugget is walkable to the Tropicana, the Pioneer and the Edgewater, and Saltgrass and Stockman's are in this stretch.
  • South end (Harrah's): The Range is in-house; the other casinos are a walk or shuttle away.
  • The Avi: six dining options on site, but it sits about 10 miles south of the Casino Drive strip, so a night on the strip means a drive.
  • Bullhead City (Holiday Inn Express & Suites): no casino on site, and a short drive across the river to the Laughlin restaurants.
  • RV parks: the Riverside RV Park runs a free shuttle to the casino, and the Avi Casino KOA runs one to the Avi.

Tips for golf groups

  • Book big tables early on busy weekends. Laughlin casino rooms fill on Friday and Saturday nights, holiday weekends, New Year's Eve and event weeks such as the October off-road race; restaurants follow.
  • Use the hotel you are staying in. With most dinners inside casinos, a group that eats at its own hotel avoids the drive and the Riverwalk walk back.
  • Check resort fees and comps. Casino players' clubs often send room offers to members, and Caesars Rewards earning applies at Harrah's and Tropicana.
  • Eat on the right clock. Crossing the bridge in winter moves your watch by an hour.
