Duotone terrain map: Bali Hai Golf Club: the public course on the Las Vegas Strip

Bali Hai Golf Club is the public course on the south Las Vegas Strip, beside Mandalay Bay and about 7 minutes from the Strip at Flamingo Rd. Anyone can book. The club quotes $150 to $300 at peak, with off-peak lows in the high $80s, and GolfNow sold an August 2026 round for $104.99. It is the convenience pick: flat, palm-lined and close.

This guide covers what Bali Hai costs by season, how to book, how close it is to each Strip hotel, who it suits and where to look if you want more course for the money. The designer, tees and 2026 overseed dates were not captured in our research, so we leave them out.

Prices change by date. Across Las Vegas, spring (March to May) and fall (October to mid-November) carry the highest green fees, December to February is cheaper with frost delays on early times, and June to September is cheapest and very hot. A summer dawn round at Bali Hai on a hot deal is one of the cheapest ways to play golf on the Strip. See Las Vegas summer golf and Las Vegas golf rates.

Booking Bali Hai tee times

Bali Hai books on TeeItUp, and its times are also sold on GolfNow, where prepaid hot deals appear. The booking window and cancellation policy were not captured. For a group, compare the club's own site with GolfNow on the same date, and book early for spring and fall weekends. See Las Vegas tee times.

Free-flow estimates from our map; Las Vegas Blvd itself is slow at most hours. Many groups skip a rental car for a Strip-only trip. The DoubleTree near the airport had no resort fee on the November 2026 tracker, which makes it a handy first or last night with an arrival-day round. See golf near the Las Vegas Strip.

What Bali Hai is like

Bali Hai is flat and themed: palms, water features and an island green on the south Strip, with the resort towers around you. It is a resort-style round rather than desert target golf. The fairways are bermuda overseeded with rye, like most Las Vegas courses; 2026 overseed dates were not found, so check before a September or early-October booking. There is a tiki bar for after the round. See the Bali Hai course guide.

Playing Bali Hai Golf Club in summer

Summer is when Bali Hai Golf Club is the best value, and it is also when Las Vegas is hottest. NOAA normals at the airport, about 3 miles from the Strip:

Book the first tee time, ride, carry far more water than usual and plan to finish before midday. Monsoon storms can bring wind and a little rain from July to September. Late August and September are also overseed season across the valley; Bali Hai's 2026 dates were not found, so check that the course is fully open before booking a September round. See Las Vegas weather by month.

Who Bali Hai Golf Club suits

  • Strip-based groups without a car, especially at the south end.
  • Arrival or departure days, close to the airport side of the Strip.
  • Summer golfers chasing hot deals at dawn.
  • Mixed groups who want an easy, flat course.
  • Less suited to golfers who want desert or canyon golf, or who would rather spend peak-season money on a bigger course.

Questions golfers ask

Is Bali Hai Golf Club open to the public?

How much does Bali Hai cost?

The club's own blog said in August 2026 that rates typically run $250 to $300; another club post gave $150 to $300, with off-peak lows in the high $80s. GolfNow sold a prepaid hot deal for August 10, 2026 at $104.99 with cart. Summer and hot deals can cut the price by more than half.

Where is Bali Hai Golf Club?

At 5160 S Las Vegas Blvd, beside Mandalay Bay at the south end of the Strip. It is about 7 minutes from the Strip at Flamingo Rd and about 3 minutes from Mandalay Bay and the Four Seasons in free-flow traffic.

Do I need a car to play Bali Hai?

No. It is 3 to 6 minutes by car from the south and centre Strip hotels, so a taxi or ride-hail works. From the north Strip, Wynn and Fontainebleau, it is 11 to 12 minutes.

What is Bali Hai like?

Is Bali Hai worth the money?

In peak season it is expensive for what it is; you pay for the location. On summer rates and GolfNow hot deals it is good value, and it saves a long drive. If you want a better course for the same peak money, Cascata, TPC Las Vegas and Serket are 22 to 33 minutes from the Strip.
