Before you book

Access	Municipal 18-hole par-3 course run by the Town of Wellton and open to the public. It is a town facility on Dome Street in central Wellton, not an RV-park course. Tee times are by phone (928-785-4030) up to 3 days in advance. No online booking was found.
Book ahead	By phone during operating hours, up to 3 days in advance (FY 2025-26 fee sheet).
Overseed / closures	No overseed or closure schedule has been published by the town (checked 2026-10-23). The Arizona Golf Association 2026 overseeding list includes Butterfield with overseed 'Unknown', dates 'contact course', and the 2024 Yuma Sun overseed article does not cover Butterfield. Call 928-785-4030.
Style	18-hole par-3 course (2,700 yds). The town says the front nine winds around several ponds, the back nine is gently sloping and lined with trees, and the course is good for walking.
Carts	Walking course. Golf carts cost $16 for 18 holes or $12 for 9, handcarts $4. Personal carts are allowed with a trail fee. Rentals must be back by 4 pm.

It is one of the cheapest 18-hole rounds in the Yuma area: $30 before 1 PM and $24 after (2025-26 sheet), or $22 a round on the 10-round punch card.
Coyote Wash is about 2 miles away, so you can pair the two for 36 holes in a day.
