One flag per course: Things to do in Orlando besides golf: parks, springs, rainy days and evenings

Things to do in Orlando besides golf start with the theme parks, which pair well with an early tee time, but go well beyond them: airboats and springs, Winter Park's Park Avenue, Gatorland, indoor museums and arcades for storm afternoons, and Topgolf or PopStroke for the evening. Most of it is within 30 minutes of the courses.

This guide groups the off-course options by type and by area, with the nearest golf for each. Places come from OpenStreetMap pins pulled on November 4, 2026; opening hours, prices and current ownership were not re-checked, so confirm before you go.

Theme parks around a tee time

Plenty: airboat rides on Lake Tohopekaliga at Boggy Creek, spring-fed swimming and kayaking at Wekiwa Springs State Park, Winter Park's Park Avenue and the Morse Museum, Harry P. Leu Gardens, Gatorland, Lake Eola downtown and the historic main streets of Winter Garden and Celebration.

What can golfers do on a rainy day in Orlando?

Is there a Topgolf in Orlando?

Yes, Topgolf Orlando is on Convention Way off Universal Boulevard, near the Orange County Convention Center. Its hours and bay prices were not read for this guide. Drive Shack Orlando appears to have closed permanently, so do not plan on it.

How do I fit golf around a Disney park day?

What is there to do for families in Orlando apart from the parks?

PopStroke putting courses in Waterford Lakes and Hamlin, Crayola Experience, Gatorland, Fun Spot America on International Drive and in Kissimmee, Disney Springs (free to enter) and Disney's walking Oak Trail nine, which suits kids and beginners.
